“Come we do!,”

Andi exhaled violently, she could already guess if her best friend would accept the way Rio said was proof. But he also knew a Varest was very unhappy with an act that could harm others, and now he would do it that was not only harmful but also dangerous for him.

Varest's hand to get away from his friends stopped at a place where he thought his voice would not be heard by anyone else.

"What do you mean by agreeing to Rio's wishes?" Ask Andi

"Calm down, Ndi." Varest said casually, "I just need to prove, not win"

"So?"

"I'm just following Rio's desire to race, meaning winning or losing is not a problem, I'll just ride my bike casually"

"Well, genius" Andi grabbed Varest's shoulder while shaking him. "I support you, brother."

They returned to the place where Rio and Rani were standing. When they feel that they have agreed, finally Varest and Rio began to get ready by riding their respective motorcycles, lucky that time the streets were not too crowded because it was before dusk, they prepare in the middle of the road and when the count to three they start to drive the bike at high speed.

Rio with all his ambition to go forward with his bike at high speed and leave Varest, Varest seemed to smile from behind his fullface felm while shaking his head looking at Rio who was acting like that.

For a few minutes Varest and Rio were still chasing each other until when the road was almost to the finish Varest began to reduce the speed and allow Rio to advance his bike to the satisfaction of the victory he got.

But a plan is just a plan. Varest widened his eyes as Rio suddenly drove on an improper path and made a vegetable truck from the opposite direction become shrewd because it had to avoid Rio's motorbike.

The truck lost its balance and eventually pulled up resulting in its load falling on one of the cars driving behind the truck, the car turning the wheel. However, maybe because the driver was too shocked he finally hit the road divider. Rio who was out of control also fell and dragged into the under the truck.

Varest stuck on his bike for a few seconds watching the accident in front of him, until the sound of a call from Andi following them from behind resuscitated him, he gets off his bike and runs towards the scene of the accident, while Andi and Rani contact the Ambulance and Police Station.

The withdrawal of Rio who pierced the motor and put Rio's head on his shoulder. Her tears welled up her cheeks no matter how Rio was one of her best friends. However, due to misunderstandings, their relationship eventually became distant.

"Yo, please hold on!, I beg you." she asked as she patted Rio's right cheek to keep her awake

Rio's eyes opened slowly, he stared at Varest softly as he clasped the man's hand.

"A-a.ak-u pper.caya pa-on mmu.." His speech was interspersed with a thin smile,

Varest shook his head, his arms clasped Rio's hand tighter and wiped his tears, "Don't talk, you have to hold on" he said.

Varest looked back and saw three Ambulance cars coming and followed by two police cars behind him, immediately he called Andi who was calling someone while calming Rani who looked shocked.

"Please take Rio to the hospital." Tell him with trembling hands

"Res." Call Rani

"White,,!" he said, "What else are you waiting for"

Looking at Varest who was starting to lose control finally Andi pulled Rani to follow the nurse who had brought Rio using the gurney.

"The police will ask for my testimony, after that will follow you to the hospital" he said before Andi and Rani boarded the car.

Varest turned his eyes to sweep the crash site, his legs carelessly approaching the victim who was a truck driver he saw having injuries to the head and hands, as well as the driver of the car behind the truck. A woman he didn't see because she had already been raised to Ambulance and a man he could be sure had a deep injury seen from fresh blood coming out of his mouth.

He stood blankly until a pat on his shoulder from one of the police officers resuscitated him. About two hours of the accident inspection process from the police until they decided to return after getting some evidence and witnesses.

Varest is still there, the man circling the truck is still in shock with what has happened to his friend Rio and the repercussions with others. His tears returned as he walked towards the white Avanza car that had been destroyed by the collision.

His hand touched the car door and opened it, in there was a bag containing baby equipment from milk bottles to diapers. He rounded his eyes remembering that during the evacuation there was not the slightest trace of him hearing someone mention a baby even just hearing the sound of crying.

He quickly circled around the place looking for the whereabouts of the intended baby, and his steps immediately stopped upon hearing a weak-sounding cry under the roadside bush. Immediately he headed towards the origin of the sound and how surprised he found a baby crawling with a thick coat wrapped around his body.

The baby cried while putting his index finger in his mouth. Varest carried the poor baby and returned to the car to get the bag and make milk for him. Luckily the baby did not have such serious injuries due to the thick coat that enveloped him.

Varest took the baby home in a taxi and then intended to return to the hospital. Arriving at his parents' house Varest immediately looking for the whereabouts of the Mama, Mama Nimas seemed worried waiting for Varest after hearing from Andi earlier.

"Rest.." Mama Nimas approached Varest who had just opened the door of his room, "What happened, son?"

"Ma, please take care of this child" he said without answering Mama Nimas's question, handing the baby into the sling of the mother after briefly stroking the baby's cheek.

"He had minor injuries on Ma's hands and knees, Varest asked Mama for help, she just drank milk" he explained

Mama Nimas looked pensive, all the questions that arose in his head came from where the baby was brought by the child alone puppet.

As if understanding with the residence of the Mama Varest finally began to sound again, "This child is the victim of the accident earlier, Ma. I'm going to find out where her parents are so I have to go to the hospital right away." she explained, after that she went back out of the house intending to see Andi and find out about the baby's family.
