If I were asked what is the most valuable thing in my life I would probably answer living with Grandpa and Grandma.
But I also want to live with my parents, it doesn't seem like a good thing.
My parents only put forward Kak Hana. Look at only Kak Hana who is their priority.
“Agatha don't run around Nak.” Papa stared worriedly at me who was running with a pink balloon in my hand.
“See Pa I got balloon pink.” My glee showed the balloon in my hand.
Papa smiled at me and banged on me, “Where did you get the balloon?”
I pointed at a boy my age across there, “From him Pa.”
“So have said thanks yet?”
“Udah dong Pa.”
“What is this Mama's son doing?” Mama comes with her bright face, “The balloon is good.”
“Iya dong.” I'm arrogant.
“Now eat first yuk.” Take Mama to herd me and Papa at our picnic spot.
I smiled bitterly as I remembered the time when Mom and Dad still loved me.
Do they still love me now?
I don't know I don't want to hope for more, there's only one roof I'm happy with.
Looks like it's going to rain again, I forgot not to bring an umbrella. The rain doesn't seem bad. Tomorrow is also a holiday.
I don't know what I'm doing at this stop. There were a lot of buses passing by and none of them I got into. I just want to see the bus pass by.
I've probably been sitting here for half an hour.
“Meong.”
The sound of a hairy animal!!
“Meong.”
“Halo pus pus.” I said while attracting the attention of the orange cat. “You've eaten?”
“Meong.”
“I take that as an answer.” I said while remodeling the contents of my red bag, it looks like I had some bread. “I only have bread, but this is chicken stuff.”
I cut the bread into pieces and gave it to the orange cat. Unexpectedly the cat ate it voraciously.
I stroked his head. “Kalo you have a friend or child tomorrow bring it here ya later I give you bread.”
“Meong.”
I laughed a little while my hands were still stroking the cat's head. The cat was not distracted and enjoyed every touch.
I honestly really like that hairy animal. I really wanted to keep a cat from a long time ago, but because Hana was allergic to cat fur so I harbored my desire deeply.
Slowly the water from the kangen came down, not rushing just drizzling. And now I'm confused how to get home. I take back the words if I want to rain.
The air today was quite cold and I had no intention of touching the water. I can say I am hostile to water.
“Woi why lo?”
I jumped in shock with that hoarse and heavy voice. Up ahead Sata was looking at me behind the helmet.
“Sit.” Answer me briefly.
“Iya I know bahlul! Meaning you ga ga back?” I can hear the tone in Sata's sentence.
I smiled thinly. “Come back to rain.”
“Mumpung still drizzle kek gini mending home from waiting later even added deres.”
I shook my head and pointed at the cat in front of me with my chin. “The cat has not finished eating.”
“Jeez this real boy yes.” After saying that Sata took her phone at typing something. It wasn't until two minutes that the guy was back in his cell phone pocket. “Gue back first yes, be careful lo here.”
I nodded and saw Sata's back moving away with her bike.
“Meong.”
The cat looked at me with hope, “You want some more bread?” I said while giving the rest of my bread to him, “Eat a lot, cruel life so must have a lot of energy.”
Let people think I'm crazy, talking to cats is fun.
“Sehat lo talk to cats?”
A pair of shoes seemed to stop in front of me, I looked up to see who the owner of the shoes was.
“Kak Mark what is here?”
The shoes belonged to Mark, even the guy was no longer wearing a uniform. Maybe they're home.
“Kalo asked it answered not behind tanya.”
I snorted, “Healthy really healthy even.”
Mark nodded and sat down beside me. There is no interesting conversation between us, instead we are silent to each other.
Since Mark broke into my room suddenly we rarely met at school.
I was more precisely the one who avoided it.
“Ngapain here?”
“Sit Brother.”
Mark snorted in annoyance. “Why not go home this afternoon.”
“Against cat eat Kak.” Answer me origin.
Mark was silent as he stared at the cat in front of me, “Like a cat?”
“Likes very.” I replied enthusiastically, no lie I am a big fan of cats.
Mark just nodded, it turned out to be the nickname of the 7-door refrigerator for the guy.
I just realized it was raining more and more along with lightning, I looked at the rain with a thin smile.
“According to Brother Mark what is rain?” I looked at Mark.
“Water descending from the sky.” Answer Mark origin.
“Rain keeps coming despite falling many times.” I said staring at the rain, “Great right sister, already know the pain of falling.”
Mark looked at me meaningfully, did I misspoke?
“Kayak lo.” Said Mark.
I nagged confused, “I mean?”
Mark shook his head then unzipped his jacket, “This goes into my jacket.” He said as he opened the jacket wide.
“Hah?”
Mark clucked then pulled me in his arms, “Lemot ya lo, already anget right.”
I still haven't understood what happened but it's really warm, I've been cold. I was just wearing a uniform without any protection and the rain was getting heavier with the wind getting louder, even the splashes of water were able to get close to me and Mark.
“Cold touts say gausah rubbing hands continuously.” Cetus Mark, “Gue can't minjemin jacket to lo because I'm also cold.”
I chuckled softly, it's just the real alimbi. “Iya deh yes, but kak gapapa kak I do not get cold.”
“Udah no protest.”
I still dare not protest, afraid that Mark suddenly rampaged. However, Mark's embrace was very warm.
This is why the rain is durable huh?
No intention to stop?
It's showing at 6 p.m. I gotta go home.
“Kak like I should go home deh.” I said as I moved away from Mark's embrace,
But Mark is holding my back, “Later the rain has not subsided.”
“This cake is durable kak.”
Mark seemed silent for a while, “Gue anterin.”
I immediately shook my head, “I can go home alone kok.”
“That's a statement not a question.” Said Mark flat.
“But I want to go back by myself.”
“What's wrong? Want to rain?”
I'm quiet for a minute, right Mark said I went home what? Should I call James?
“Ojol kak.”
“Try pesen if there is.”
I grabbed my phone and ordered ojol, long enough I waited for my order in response but miraculously all refused my order.
What day is it, actually? What is the world ojol holiday?
“Rejected all right?” Ejek Mark, “Kalo raining gini all ojol and taxi rarely anyone want.”
“They work gabby select.” My muttering.
“Likes they dong.” Answer Mark, “Udah ayok me anterin.”
I shut up for a moment, “Emang Brother Mark here bring what?”
“Mobil.” Mark said then pulled me into his arms and ran through the rain towards Mark's car.
“Kak Mark wet.” I said a little frantically, even so Mark got wet because of me.
Mark took off his jacket and was thrown into the back seat, “Wet little did not make.”
“Cold no?” Tanya Mark directs the AC hole in the other direction, “There is a blanket behind bentar.”
Mark grabbed a blanket in the back seat, I wonder what car Doraemon pockets.
“Nih pake,” the guy threw a blanket right in my face. It's very polite.
“Kak Mark glue blanket?”
“Pake aja.” Answer Mark.
“Let me down in front of the complex gate yes Kak.” My reques.
Forehead Mark wrinkled, “Why?”
“Pengen aja down there.” I said the origin, actually I do not want to be showered with questions by Hana.
“Gue is not a guy who nganterin a girl in front of the gang.”
“Not front alley but front gate complex.” My correction.
“Front of home why the hell.”
“Front of complex gate aja.”
“Front home.”
“Front complex.”
“Brand really.”
“Kak Mark sih.”
Mark took a slow breath, “Oke in front of the complex.” Disconnecting.
“Asseekkk.”
“But boong.”
“Campret!!”
...***...
I got home safely, past the back door because there was no way I could get through the front door in a wet shirt.
Mark kept his promise to drop me off in front of the complex gate, albeit with a bit of a debate.
I just found out that Mark can do that.
“Where is the new clock coming home?” Hana said as she poured syrup in her glass.
“School.”
“Gue is also a school but has returned fromitadi.” Syndicate Hana.
I shrugged indifferently, grabbed the basket of dirty clothes and walked into the laundry room.
Hana's rant I won't listen to. I better get on with my duties and go to bed soon.
Either I'm here as a maid or a child. Because most of my homework is done.
But I'm great that I still live here.
“Lo getting longer and longer ya.” Hana came and leaned on the door, “Lo do not want your task here what?”
I nodded, “This is me again doing the job.”
“Lo is just a shame here.” After saying that Hana left leaving me speechless.
I will not take the heart of Hana's words. While waiting for the laundry to finish I better iron, shorten the time.
Even though I've been ironing every day why the iron is still mountainous. How many times do people change clothes every day.
Though this is only Papa's clothes, Mama and Hana.
Ting!
The sound of my phone blasting my focus ironing. Who sent him the message.
Brother Mark
Had shower?
There's a way this guy sent me a message, it's been over a week Mark hasn't given me a message.
My fingers are dancing on the phone screen.
Not Brother.
After that, I put my phone down and resumed my activities.
Ting!
Quickly the guy replied.
Why not shower? Take a shower!
I was astonished, why of the many orders should take a bath.
I don't want to come in contact with water.
Later, my brother will iron again.
There was no reply from Mark. That guy just read my message.
I didn't get dizzy, got close to the finished washing machine. Stay sunning her and go to sleep.
I hummed cheerfully, singing a little song that I knew. It turns out cool also works while humming.
Yup! Everything is done. I'll go to the room and sleep.
Look at the harmony in the middle room. Papa and Mama were joking with Hana.
What pain is this in my chest.
Have they forgotten my presence here?
Slowly shaking I prefer to climb the stairs and go to my room.
“Gosh!” I was shocked when I saw Mark sitting on my bed.
Again the guy infiltrated. I locked my door and walked over to Mark.
“Kakak through window again?”
Mark nodded.
“Back cake maling.”
Mark just shrugged his shoulders indifferently. Seeing me who was cleaning my face with cotton that I had previously given micellar water.
I seem to have gotten used to seeing Mark suddenly in my room.
“No need what?” I turned my body around and looked at Mark.
“You only want to mestain if you have a fever.”
I gawk, “I'm not a kid who knows rain little direct pain kak.”
“Kan said just make sure. Not shower yet lu.”
I nodded, I haven't had a shower yet.
“Mandi cepet.” Mark's face was instantly flat.
“You have a sister here.”
“Why do I have me.”
“Later brother Mark ngintip.”
“Tepis is what you want in peispin.”
“Kak Mark his mouth.”
Mark chuckled and grabbed a towel and pushed me into the bathroom.
“Mandi by myself what do I bathein?”
I directly hit Mark's arm, “Basic bawdy out there!”
Mark laughed and walked out of the bathroom.
While waiting for Agatha to take a bath, Mark went around the room and opened the drawer that had been his mind all along.
“The medicine is still intact what not to drink?”
Grab a cell phone and call someone.
“Hallo.”
Greet Mark to the guy across there, “Does Agatha have any backup medicine?”
Mark nodded to hear explain the person there, “In the drawer of the medicine table is still intact.”
The guy walks towards Agatha's bag, “How many are in her bag?”
Mark's hand grabbed a black bag and took out its contents, “The amount remains the same, is there any more?”
Mark snarled and turned off his phone.
“Badgirls.”
