One or Two

"You're home yet?" Varest has just opened the door and finds Rea and Zee on the porch.

Varest had intended to pick up Rea and Zee from her in-laws' house after cleaning up after work, but it turned out that Rea had gone home before the man had time to give word if he was going to pick her up, Rea returns home with Zee, who has fallen asleep in her arms.

Taking Zee from Rea's sling and back into the house followed by Rea who had previously closed the door, they walked together up the stairs to bring Zee into the room.

"Why don't you tell me you're going home" asked Varest while repairing his carrier

"I just wanted to pick you up" he continued

"I think you're still busy at the cafe, I was delivered with Toni" replied Rea

Varest reflex stopped hearing the foreign name called by his wife suddenly he became curious, the man raised one eyebrow to turn his eyes on Rea who also stopped.

"Toni who?"

Rea turned his head, "Toni's su-"

Rea said Varest had cut him off, "Next time let me pick you up, you don't have to ask anyone else for help"

Rea's brows frowned, the tone of the sentence from Varest sounded commanding not like he usually heard "I just don't want to bother you Rest, and also he will definitely drive us safely home" he said

"He's a new person, isn't he?, Zee is not easy to get close to other people, he must be uncomfortable" said Varest back up the stairs, which is only three steps away.

"Yes, he's the new driver at Mama's house, Zee is quite comfortable with him, he said Zee reminded him of his granddaughter in the village"

Varest stopped again, as quickly as he turned his body to face Rea who was behind him.

"Su-driver?, grandson?" Varest stuttered,

Rea nodded, trying to hold back the laughter knowing that Varest was currently feeling misbehaved.

"Yes he's the new driver at Mama's house, actually his name is Pak Tono, but Zee calls him Pak Toni said his name is not cool" he said as he passed Zee who was still quiet on the spot, the woman slightly ran towards the room to open the door.

It appears that Varest shook his head many times, condemning his stupidity for suddenly being carried away with a feeling that he himself did not know what it was to make him behave like a possessive husband. Soon he approached Rea when she had called him, but when he was in front of the room he passed by Rea who was standing in front of him and made the woman frown in confusion.

"Rest's?" Call Rea

"It's time for Zee to sleep in Re's own room" Varest said "It doesn't matter, does it?" Varest opened Zee's bedroom door knob and brought his son to lie on the bed without seeing Rea's suddenly stiffened expression.

"Re?" Varest turned to Rea who was still standing at the door, the man still did not realize that the face of the pensive woman was in a blushing state.

"You daydreaming?"

"Ah, ti-no" Rea shook her head as she waved her hand in front of her chest "I'm sultry, it looks like I have to take a shower immediately" she said, Rea immediately turned her body towards her room which was beside Zee's room.

The woman quickly left Zee's room and went inside her room, picked up a nightgown in the closet and then ran to the bathroom. His heart suddenly beat faster than usual. While Varest who is still in the room of the child looks confused with Rea's attitude.

"Is he angry about banning him from being ushered in by Mr Tono?" he murmured but then hit his own head for thinking unreasonable.

It is the same with Zee's habit of always seeing stars before bed as well as Rea, so when Varest goes into the room and does not find his wife then he will go to the balcony to look for her, a habit that Varest had already understood.

Rea stood up and looked up, she had a faint smile, and when she realized that someone was next to her she turned to look at Varest who was also smiling at her.

"So Papa to the Cafe" Varest started the chat

"Which papa?"

Varest chuckled, it is common to discuss the problems of both their parents, then they will be confused themselves because the nickname of the two do not have differences so must mention the name of their respective parents.

"Ok, it looks like we should call our parents the same as Zee called them" Varest suggested

"meaning?" Rea turned her head confused

"Ehmm, look, we call my parents Grandpa and Grandma while for your parents call Opa and Oma, I think it's easier for us to call them if we talk together."

"Ah, yes I get it, that's pretty good" Rea said as she nodded her head in agreement

"So, was Grandpa at the cafe?" rea asked "Is there a problem?"

"Actually no problem, just discussing an unrealized responsibility" Varest's answer turned to sit on the wooden chair available on the balcony.

Rea's eyes fixedly following Varest's movements, the woman stood before Varest who was already sitting with her chin on, "What responsibility?" said

"Grandfather told me to immediately take over the family company"

"So, why don't you accept it? isn't that a message from Grandpa Adelard?"

Varest looked up and said "I'm just not ready for Re, I'm thinking about the cafe, nobody can take care of it"

"Not anyone taking care of it, you just don't have trust with your employees yet" Rea said sitting next to Varest.

"I noticed Andin and Roni were quite competent at work, I was new to the Cafe a few times but I was quite able to see their performance, instead of them both your old employees?.

"You're right, I did realize they were both quite reliable to take care of the Cafe. Well, maybe I can try your advice"

"You have to learn to trust someone Rest, in a work environment, that trust is necessary whether a fellow worker or a boss and that employee is important, light and heavy work will be better done when we trust each other"

Varest smiled faintly "Well, I'll give it a try" he said, "Ah, I can't imagine that my current position will be experienced by Zee later" he said as he leaned against the back of the chair.

"You mean?"

"I was an only child, when I had my own desires for my future but had to be required to take care of the family's assets was very disturbing, thought, it would be best if Zee had a sister of one or two"

"What?" Rea's reflexes with round eyes, his saliva swallowed hard when Varest again voiced while looking at him

"Yes, I want one or two" Varest said with an enthusiastic smile.
