Sumayahs

Sumayahs
Temporary Time

Dor's!

Salim froze hearing the sound of gunfire blaring nearby. Same with Sumayah. He gulped his stale saliva with great difficulty, sweat pouring down all over his body.

"Mother!" Salim whined with tears pouring down his cheeks that had been flooded with sweat.

Sumayah tightened her grip as she felt Salim's trembling body. He closed his eyes, taking a deep breath filling the air in his lungs which suddenly disappeared.

Sumayah pulled Salim's body forward and buried the small body in her arms.

"Quiet, baby. We'll face it together. Don't be afraid, I'm here" said Sumayah staring blankly ahead at the darkness of the night.

Drap ... drap .. drap!

The sound of many footsteps rang out all around them. Sumayah knew he had been surrounded at this time. Her tears flowed without warning. His embrace of Salim strengthened with the growing fear of the kingdom.

"Stop there, Madam! You've been surrounded!" said one of them.

Blashy!

A floodlight illuminates the situation of the place. Behind an abandoned building Sumayah stood upright with Salim immersing his face in an embrace.

People in police uniforms lined up around the two. It's ridiculous! Does Kevin really need this many people just to catch Sumayah? Incredibly this one woman, she was alone while Kevin needed dozens to dozens of people to deal with her. A coward!

It doesn't make any sense at all.

"Who are y'all? Why are you guys backing me up? What is your real purpose?" asked Sumayah after successfully mastering the fear that suddenly came unexpectedly.

"We got a report that you've kidnapped a child, Madam. We've come to arrest you for that. So, leave yourself all right and come with us to the office!" said explain. He walked over and stopped a few steps from Sumayah's position.

"Mother!" Salim was still whining, wet in Sumayah's clothes as the boy's tears continued to flow.

Sumayah blushed her lips, mocking what the police had just said.

"Kidnap kids? Who kidnapped whose child? I'm just taking my son back from the hands of those who want to harm him, what's wrong? Tell me, where's my mistake?" asserted Sumayah without the slightest fear.

He stared at the face of the policeman who was facing him. Sumayah showed her resistance, she was undaunted even though the firearm was pointed at her.

The policeman in front of him was still calm, he thought the lone Sumayah could not fight him. She's just a weak woman who usually hides behind the power of men.

"Of course you're wrong, Madam. You took away a child from his residence without the father's knowledge of the child. It's against the law, Madam, and you have to come with us to the office. If you want to explain it you can explain it in the office later," he said again still in the same place.

Sumayah chuckled at hearing that, Salim who was hiding his face started to calm down looking at Sumayah who did not show any fear.

"Wrongly? He's the one who kidnapped my son and I just want to take him back. Why am I coming with you. If you don't believe it, just ask the child! Let him explain everything," said Sumayah while relaxing the embrace without lowering vigilance.

Salim looked up at his mother, the woman flinching with a fixed look at the man in black uniform in front of him. Salim turned around, he could clearly see the gunmen surrounding him.

"He's my mother, and he didn't kidnap me. I asked him to take me out of that house. I want to come with my mom, let us go!" said Salim boldly staring at the figure of a manly upright in front of him. He stood facing her while holding both hands of Sumayah.

The policeman rolled his eyeballs, staring in turn at the mother and child. No matter what the little look was, no matter who was wrong and who was right. He only had to carry out the orders of his superiors to arrest Sumayah.

"I'm sorry, son, but we have to keep your mother because she has broken state laws by taking a child from her home. So, let us take him and go back to your father" he said, not giving up.

"Mother, Salim doesn't want to part with Mom anymore, but Salim doesn't want them to hurt Mom like they used to. Mom, Salim wants to go wherever you go. Don't take my mom!" salim's tears really broke Sumayah's heart. He could not bear to hear his cries, he could not hear his groans.

"Silence, Salim! Don't cry" Sumayah said calmly.

"Take the woman and take her child!" he said without heeding Salim's cry in Sumayah's embrace.

"You can't do this! You can't take me! I am innocent, I am innocent! Unhand me!"

Two policemen began to hold Sumayah's hand. One more person tried to pull Salim out of his arms.

"Mother ... Mama! Unhand me! I don't want to part with my mother, I want to go with her anywhere!" salim shouted in rebellion.

"Take your dirty hands off my body! I don't want to go with you!" yelling Sumayah again.

The three policemen were still trying to separate the mother and son who were hugging each other. Remembering the incident, Salim did not want to get Sumayah injured and almost died like before.

Slowly he started releasing hugs along with both hands of Sumayah who was paralyzed by the police. They handcuffed both hands behind his body.

"Mother! Don't take my mom! I don't want to go back to that house, I want to be with my mom! Mom ...!" salim's screams were deafening. On a dark and lonely night, his voice was so thunderous that it filled the universe.

He stood in check of an armed policeman. Stumbling and rebelling asking to be released. Honey, they're shaking and don't care about the sound of crying.

"Mother! Don't take my mom!" salim shouted as Sumayah was led into a car.

"Congratulations! I'm sorry, Son!" lirih Sumayah with tears in her eyes looked at her son who was struggling in a police check. He turned ruthless as his eyes caught the figure of Kevin walking over.

Sumayah rebelled when Kevin took over Salim and carried him.

"Don't take my son, you bastard! Give her back to me, give her back!" shouted Sumayah as she continued to rebel wanting to hit the cruel creature.

"He will stay with me, rot in prison for all you do!" kevin said cruelly.

"Take me off! I don't want to go with you, I want to go with my mom!" refuse Salim try to release the two hands of Kevin who locked his body.

"He's a criminal, Salim. You're going to come with Dad forever, let that woman go to jail to pay for everything she's done" Kevin said without hearing and seeing the small, suffering figure in his arms.

"My mom's not a criminal, you're the villain, Kevin! I don't want to go with you!" reject Salim again still thrashing in his father's sling.

"Don't go, motherfucker! Return my son! You have no right to take him!" yelling Sumayah again who thrashed in check two police officers when he saw Kevin who turned away with Salim.

He was forced into a car, and flanked by two policemen to the office. They threw Sumayah into the iron bars cruelly.

Still screaming for release, until tired himself.
