The Surprising Family

That's how life is, though,

There is something we know, and there is something we do not know.

Rest assured, with ignorance it does not mean that God does evil to us. It is possible that God willfully protects us from knowing it himself.

(Tere Liye, The Moon Sinks In Your Face)

-------------------

A clear night, with millions of stars adorned the pitch-black sky without the full moon present. The sound of insects is like the soothing song of nature, the breeze like a caress full of puja.

Mutia sat at her desk, she opened her bedroom window, letting the coldness permeate her body.

He was pensive, he thought about many things. From work to feeling.

Mutia again sighed and breathed heavily, when what she thought did not meet a point of certainty.

He was now thinking of a surefire way to make one be able to understand summations and be able to memorize them. Because there are some children who still often have trouble adding the same number. There are many ways to do it, but it still has not worked.

Mutia has taught addition by stacking, how to add the equivalent and also in the most absurd way that is storage. But the results are still nil. There is one child who will forget the next day, while if he has to repeat again he is worried that the material is not exhausted and the semester period is in sight.

He looked several times at the learning calendar and syllabus in turn. Mutia looked far ahead, the pen she had in her hand she had a knock on her forehead.

Mutia then remembered something, not only her learning patterns that had to be adjusted, but the parenting patterns at home also had to be adjusted. It is useless if in school the teacher provides learning with a method that can be considered perfect but at home the child is taught in a different way or worse left without learning.

Mutia immediately searches for the whereabouts of her phone, she searches for Riana's number to ask about the family condition of her slightly troubled student.

After discussing things with Riana, Mutia found a meeting point, and hopefully the plan goes well so that the problem will be solved.

Mutia smiled, then she circled a few dates and tidied up her desk. Don't forget he closed the windows and the curtains. He turned on the murrottal mp3 that he stayed in the bathroom, changed his nightgown and took ablution.

After finishing the ritual before going to bed Mutia lay on her bed, she still reluctantly closed her eyes. His mind was still imagined to happen that afternoon, when the first time according to Mutia Abi came to his house after he met at the playground.

That afternoon, after performing the asar prayer, Mutia, Fahri, Rouf rode the Mutia motorbike. Dilan drives his own motorcycle and Abi certainly drives his own car.

Arriving at Mutia's house, it turns out that the family who had gone to the mall had arrived, they were contacted first by Sisi. (Who forgot who Sisi read part in High School, Sisi is a friend of Abi's gang)

They were greeted by Zahra and Alya,

"Assalamualaikum," their greetings when entering the house.

"Waalaikumsalam Warohmatullah," answered two girls of different ages.

"Dlo, how many more Mutia brothers?" alya asked casually, while observing every figure that entered the house.

"Come, please sit down," Rouf said ignoring Alya's words.

"Thank you" said Abi who took a seat near Dilan. And little Fahri was already sitting on Dilan's lap.

Mutia frowned looking at the behavior of her sister. Because to him, Dilan and Fahri were a reflection of him and Dilan-never got along.

However, what he is now seeing is Fahri who is so sticky with Dilan. Weird right?

Mutia simply shook her head, then said goodbye to take a drink.

"Where's the job, Bi?" asked Rouf to start a conversation.

"He's an Architect, Uf." Dilan replied firmly, he knew the habits of his best friend this one if asked about workplace problems he would definitely be silent and smile thinly.

"Well, young Architect. At any time if you want a decent home renovation, you can briefly discount," said Rouf in a half-joking tone.

"Bro, instead of using his services, he's better to buy a car." Dilan is back.

"Yes who knows brother," Rouf said staring meaningfully at Abi.

"Can be set," Abi comments while occasionally playing with Fahri.

"Eh, but you know not. If the doi doesn't like office workers?" asked Dilan suddenly, Abi turned to look at Dilan and Rouf alternately.

"He used to talk about it" Abi said, recalling the time 9 years ago when MOS. At that time the senior discussed about talent, interests and future work. However, Mutia is the most different, if the majority of his friends want to have a partner of a businessman or office worker but he wants to have a partner life simple people have a simple business anyway. When asked why, he simply replied that his father and mother had plenty of time for the child.

"Ah, it can be changed later. This is a brother Rifa is trying to change the mindset of Mutia the last three years. He started working in the office but still took good care of Arka." Alya came out with a tray filled with glasses, and inside the glass was a green drink.

"Please Mas," Alya said then sat down beside Rouf.

"It seems Al has not known the same mas that deh," said Alya turned towards Abi.

"Yes know dong," Rouf said casually.

"Known dong mas," whispered Alya as she glanced shyly at Abi.

"Alah, belaga there are usually clear guys dikit directly nyosor," said Dilan relaxed when he saw the shy face of meow belongs to Alya.

"What the heck brother Dilan," said Alya did not accept, and out came his true nature.

"What?" ask Dilan without sin, while drinking melon juice that has been served.

"Ih, brother Dilan nyebelin. Pantes don't do it." Alya said cynically, Abi chuckled softly.

"Eh, I did, yes" said Dilan did not accept.

"What's the evidence?"alya asked courageously.

"Look, if I was your sister-in-law. I bully every day" said Dilan gomas.

"What's sister-in-law?"

"Yes, why?" dilan asked as he folded his hands on his chest.

"What does Mutia want?" alya asked triumphantly.

"Ask directly to the person," said Dilan relaxed, making Alya his own crime. Rouf was already unable to stand their debate.

"Tu, tanya," said Dilan showing Mutia who was out with some snacks.

"Ask what?"

"Would my sister want to get married?" ask Alya.

"Yes, why?" mutia asked casually while lowering the jar and the plate.

"Really?" alya asked curiously and was still not satisfied.

"Dad, look who our guest is" cried Fahri to see the shadow of the father passing through the living room.

"Fahri," call Mutia reminded.

"Sorry brother," said Fahri regretfully and approached the older brother who was still crouching near the table.

"Fahri promises not to repeat anymore," Fahri said as he leaned spoiled against Mutia's body.

"Ah, mother and son drama," said Alya cynically. Mutia stroked Fahri's head affectionately while smiling faintly.

"Sana Fahri came in, said the same father. Keep taking a shower" said Mutia fondly.

Fahri nodded and ran to the back, carrying Mutia's tray without asking for help.

"Sister, who is he?" alyaa asked towards Abi.

"Have you talked to me since you haven't met?"

"Nobody will answer." Alya said spoiledly.

"Yes ask dong, brother whose name, can not contact?"

"Don't, big brother." Mutia smiled seductively.

"Dlo, there's a guest.'' Mutia's father came out of the living room. Then shook Dilan's hand, asking for news and then turned to Abi.

His old eyes looked at Abi meaningfully, as he shook hands Mutia's father smiled amiably.

"How are you?" ask Mutia's father.

"Good, Om." Mutia's father was still observing Abi before patting Abi on the shoulder several times.

"Ok, Mutia back, come on Al." Mutia left the four men in the living room.

Mutia walked towards the kitchen with a floating mind.

How are you doing?

It was the father's question to Abi, not yet broken the puzzle about Fahri who knows Abi. Now increasing again the puzzle of the father who seems to have known Abi for a long time.

"What's Mut?" ask the side who is preparing the dishes at the dining table.

"What's wrong, Sis," Mutia said towards the kitchen.

"Who's the guest?" ask Sisi to Alya who is eating fried bananas.

"Friends of Dilan's sister like," said Alya moved towards the sink. Alya did not like Sisi much, because Alya had harbored a taste for Rouf. And when Rouf married Sisi, he became dislike of the young pregnant woman.

"Side's not sitting down, let Mutia continue." Mutia appeared with a large bowl of vegetables.

"Yes, how does it feel to be dizzy," said Sisi sighing. Ordinary people who are not young pregnant often complain because of discomfort, fret and want something that he does not understand.

"Have a break, already" Mutia said as she stepped towards the kitchen.

"Mutia," call Sisi, please,

"Yes." Yeah."

"Whose guests?"

"Oh, Brother Dilan and Abi." Mutia was about to step back, but Sisi's shocked face made him undo his intentions.

"What's up, brother?" tanya Mutia looked at Sisi suspiciously.

"No papa, have not seen Abi for a long time" Sisi said slowly.

"Front, don't know."

"Nice, they seem to be talking about something serious." The side turned its head towards the front, only a faint voice could be heard. And it's very unclear in hearing to both.

"The other is also about business or politics. The most awkward also talkin' ball." Mutia said in a dislike tone.

"Take it, yes" said Sisi curiously.

"It's not often that men get together." Mutia replied calmly.

"And if women are gathered, it will gossip." Rouf casually replied.

Mutia only sighed, she directly walked to the back. She did not want to see the husband and wife drama, she knew very well what would happen when Rouf her consort met Sisi the wife of Rouf.

"Where are you?'' rouf asked teasingly, he knew Mutia's mediocrity whenever she was only three.

"To the kitchen," Mutia replied, although upset she always kept answering her brother's questions.

"Sister, said sister Mutia can't scream." Zahra and Fahri said at the same time. They both came down the stairs.

"Sorry, Rouf said, glaring at the smiling Mutia while putting down a plate of side dishes.

"It's done, noh." Mutia walked towards Zahra and Fahri.

"Gee, sister brother is already fragrant. Kiss dong" said Mutia. When he was about to kiss his two younger siblings, he stopped because of a voice.

"Don't want to, Mutia stinks." The father and his two guests were already standing in the dining room.

"Sister Abi," cried his two brothers running away from Mutia. Abi crouched down and hugged the twin duo. Mutia looked over with a look of disbelief.

"It's like you're not a favorite anymore, Dek." Rouf said seductively, Mutia put on her flat face, then bothered to clean up putting laughter in the room.

In the Mutia family, it was dinner before Maghrib, and if there is nothing makhrom then men eat first only later if it is finished women will eat.

Abi's familiarity with his family made Mutia surprised, because there had been no discussion of Abi. Even when she asked her sister that night, the sister did not give an answer that could make Mutia not feel awkward.

Mutia looked back at the ceiling of her room, the night was getting late but Mutia's eyes still remained reluctant to be closed.

The murottal voice had already reached the letter an-naba' once in a while Mutia followed, she yawned once in a while. After being sure she started getting sleepy Mutia did the routine before her sleep.

Mutia opened her eyes again, when the door of her room was opened, she got up from the fall and turned towards the door.

Zahras?

Mutia looked at the astonished sister, not for what. It was just that he felt strange with the presence of his sister at night.

It's nine o'clock, usually the sister has been led to sleep by the mother at eight.

"What's wrong?" mutia asked open her voice, she saw her sister carrying her cloth doll and closing the door.

Zahra stepped closer to her brother without speaking, she spread her body beside him.

Mutia regained her senses, this was the first time Zahra had come to her at night.

"Sister, Zahra slept with my sister, yes" said Zahra, who was ready to close her eyes.

Mutia just laughed amusedly at the behavior of her sister. Look, her sister asked for permission after she was comfortable lying down. Then is there any answer other than 'yes' 'yes' 'na'am' 'iyo' and other similar answers again.

"Why all of a sudden?"

"Sister, the cook was Fahri giving a lecture about the rules of sleep that I don't know." Mutia tilted her body facing the sister.

"So let me also talk like Fahri, I want to sleep with brother." Mutia gawked, see what you have in mind to hear the relaxed speech of this little boy.

"So, tell me brother." Mutia looked towards the sister. He looked at the horror of the younger brother who put on his innocent face.

Mutia sighed, she tidied up her blanket. "Why not ask Fahri to teach you?"

"Don't want ah, Fahri's a big head." See, this little boy already has a very high gensi. Fahri was his brother, he even lived in one womb together. Ckck isn't that education really that important.

"Sleep is One of the signs of the power of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala. Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala said :

وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ مَنَامُكُمْ بِاللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ

"And among the signs of his power is your sleep at night and during the day." (QS. From Rum: 23)

Sleep is a pleasure and a gift from Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, It is appropriate for a Muslim to be civilized with adab-adab shar'i." Mutia begins what she was once taught to her younger brother-Fahri.

"Self introphection, before going to bed let one introspect himself for all the deeds he has done during the day, so if he finds goodness then let him praise Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala and if he finds any ugliness should he immediately beg forgiveness and repent to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala." Mutia gave keda a look towards the sister.

"Inf.... What Sis?" zahra asked with a funny face.

"Self-intopexy or good luck, I'm an easy term to understand that we remember things we've done. We cut it off, if we do something wrong, we immediately repent. Know what it means," said Mutia and Zahra nodded. Indeed, these two sisters have been very well educated by the mother. So look at the intelligence possessed by the sister who is still sitting on the bench of this Kindergarten B.

"Continue, Brother." Zahra's orders, made Mutia shake her head. His sister is very stubborn and a little selfish.

"Immediately to sleep. This is the second adab."

"From Aisha "Verily the Prophet Shallallallahu 'alaihi wassalam slept at the beginning and woke up at the end of the night then he prayed." This hadith shows that among the wisdom of his displeased fast sleep is that one can wake up in the middle of the night to perform prayers and worship to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala."

"Why?" ask Zahra astonished.

"That is why, in another hadith the Prophet Shallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam forbade an act that could cause a person to be difficult to wake up in the night that is telling a story, joking, joking, talk after Isya and so on."

"Means that abis salat isya can not chat dong." Mutia nodded.

"In the hadith of Abu Barzah narrated by Imam Bukhari, Abu Barzah said:

كَانَ يَكْرَهُ النَّوْمَ قَبْلَ الْعِشَاءِ وَالْحَدِيثَ بَعْدَهَا

"It is the Prophet Shallallah salam who hates to sleep before Isha and talks afterwards." Muttafaqun 'alaih is what narrates the hadith."

''Adab the third is the hate of sleeping before the isya because it is feared will escape from him prayers Isya just in time and hated talking after the issue because it is feared will not be able or difficult to wake up at night." Zahra looked at the sister's face in admiration. He began to realize why Fahri loved his older sister so much.

"The next step is ablution before going to bed. Huh, not wudhu yet? It is highly recommended for someone who wants to go to sleep to ablution first." Mutia pinched the sister's nose with anxiety.

"Big sister, if I'm big I want to be a big sister." Zahra looked into Mutia's eyes affectionately, making Mutia's eyes glaze over. In his heart he was always grateful for the grace of God who gave him a very wonderful family. Isn't this very surprising? In the past he was given an imperfect family, but now God replaces it with a very wonderful family. This is the fruit of patience.

"Yes, later if you are big you will definitely be beautiful. Maybe more than my sister. The important thing is always to behave well, because as a Muslim it is a reflection of yourself." Zahra stroked the sister's cheek with a warm smile.

"So, brother," said Zahra quietly.

"Until where it was, oh yeah. It is also used to remove bed linen or clean the bed, and it is done 3 times." Mutia said while pointing her finger.

"Oh brother, it's four not three." Zahra protested against Mutia, because of the five fingers she pointed at Mutia just peeked at her thumb.

"Yes yes, if three how dong," said Mutia teasingly. Zahra bent her little finger and said, "this is three."

Mutia stroked the sister's hair while saying some compliments and thanks for being reminded.

"Demraved sleeping on his stomach. As shown in Hadith Abu Dharr ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇

مَرّ بي النبيُّ صلى اللّهُ عليه وسلّم وأنا مُضْطجع على بطني فركضني برجله وقال يا جنيدب إنما هذه ضجعة أهل النار

The Prophet Shallallahu 'alaihi Wassalam once passed me while I was lying on my stomach, Then he woke me up with his feet. And said Yes Junaidab; this (snoring) is the way of the people of hell." Mutia looked at the twinkle in her brother's eyes that had dimmed.

"Friendly to sleep in a house without obstructions or coverings (open place). As indicated in the hadith of Ali ibn Shayban that the Prophet Shallallah 'alaihi Wassalam said:

مَنْ بَاتَ عَلَى ظَهْرِ بَيْتٍ لَيْسَ لَهُ حِجَابٌ فَقَدْ بَرِئَتْ مِنْهُ الذِّمَّةُ

Whoever sleeps at night in a house without a lid on it has lost his guarantee. Hadith The History of Abu Daud."

"Closing doors, windows and putting out fires or lights before going to bed. From Jabir radhiyallahu ta'ala anhu Rasulullah Shallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said: "Stop the lights at night, when you want to sleep close the doors, close the vessels, and cover food and drink." Hadith of Muttafaqun's history 'alaihi."

"In the hadith of Abu Musa Al 'Ash'ary radhiyallahu anhu said: The Prophet shalallahu alaihi wasallam said: "This fire is your enemy, so if you want to sleep Put it out." This hadith is narrated by Muttafaqun 'alaih."

"From Jabir radhiyallahu anhu:

The Prophet shalallahu alaihi wasallam: "Close the doors, call upon the name of Allah, for Shaytan will not open locked doors." This hadith is narrated by the Muslim Imam."

"Said Ibn Daqiqil 'Ied rahimahullah: "On the order of closing the door there is the goodness of religion and the world, self-preservation and property of the doers of destruction especially Shaithan, as for his word: *so shaythan will not open the locked door*, a sign that the order is to close here for good so that shaythan does not mingle with someone." this can be seen Fathul Bari: 11/57." Mutia gave a pause, "Zahra knows right, who is Muttafaqun 'alaih?" Mutia chuckled, she saw that the younger sister was already sleeping soundly. Then he confirmed the position of the blanket and began to pray before going to bed.

Before going to bed also read the verse of the Chair, and the last two verses of the letter of Al Baqarah, reading the letters of Al-ikhlas, Al Falaq, and An-Naas.

As the hadith of Abu Hurairah radhiyallohu 'anhu points out in the story of his encounter with Shaithan, Shaithan says;

" If you go to your bed, then read the verse of the cursys, God will take care of you, and Shaitan will not approach you until morning."

Then the Prophet shalallahu alaihi wasallam said:

ﺻَﺪَﻗَﻚَ ﻭَﻫُﻮَ ﻛَﺬُﻭﺏٌ، ﺫَﺍﻙَ ﺷَﻴْﻄَﺎﻥٌ

"He has been honest with you when he is a liar, it is Shaithan." (CHR. Viking (5010) )

And the Prophet shalallahu alaihi wasallam said:

ﻣَﻦْ ﻗَﺮَﺃَ ﺑِﺎﻟْﺂﻳَﺘَﻴْﻦِ ﻣِﻦْ ﺁﺧِﺮِ ﺳُﻮﺭَﺓِ ﺍﻟْﺒَﻘَﺮَﺓِ ﻓِﻲ ﻟَﻴْﻠَﺔٍ ﻛَﻔَﺘَﺎﻩُ

"Whoever reads two verses at the end of Surah al-Baqarah at night will suffice."

(Muttafaqun 'alaih)

From 'Aisha radhiyallahu anha:

"The Prophet shalallahu alaihi wasallam, when he went to his bed every night, gathered his palms together and blew them and read to him; qul Huwallohu Sunday and Qul A'udzu Birabbil Falaq and Qul A'udzu Birabbinnas, then rubbing his whole body, he started from the head, face and after from his body, he did it three times."

(CHR. Viking (5017) )

After reciting the verse of the chair and the last three letters in the Quran then, reciting the prayer as it has come in a hadith narrated by Imam Abu Dawud and urged by Imam Al Albani Rahimallahu ta'ala:

Prophet Shallallahu Alaihi Wasallam prayed before going to bed:

اللَّهُمَّ قِنِيْ عَذَابَكَ يَوْمَ تَبْعَثُ عِبَادَكَ

"God protect me from Your torment on the day You raise up Your servants."

Reading the prayer:

Bismikallahumma amutu wa Ahya.

"O Allah, In Your name I live and I die." (Muttafaqun 'alaih, from the hadith Hudzaifah radhiyallahu 'anhu.)

When you feel restlessness or fear in your sleep, pray:

أَعُوْذَ بِكَلَمَاتِ اللّهِ التَّامَّةِ مِنْ غَضَبِهِ وَ مِنْ عِقَابِهِ وَشَرِّ عِبَادِهِ وَمِنْ هَمَزَاتِ الشَّيَاطِيْنِ وَأَنْ يَخْضَرُوْنِ

(a'uudzu bikalimaatillaahit taammati min ghadhabihi wa syarri 'ibaadihi wa min hamazaatisy syayaathiini wa an yahdhuruun)

"I take refuge with the Perfect Word of His wrath, His torment and the ugliness of His servants and of the devil's disturbance and their presence." (HR.Abu Dawud in Hasankan By Shaykh Al Albani )

And the last of the sleep adab is reading the wake-up prayer when awake.

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَ مَا أَمَاتَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ

(alhamdu lillahil ladzii ahyaanaa ba'da maa amaatanaa wailaihin nusyuur)

"Praise be to Allah, who has brought us back to life after we have killed us, and to Him we have returned." (Muttafaqun 'alaih, from the hadith Hudzaifah Ibnul Yemen radhiyallahu anhu.)
