The sun was already overhead, but still had not found it. Finally Vladimir sat in the seat in Piazza san Marco while watching the passersby in the hope that Lizzie would pass. After an hour of waiting there Lizzir's shadow was not there, he finally went and looked for another place. Vladimir was already indifferent to fatigue and his achy legs that he had in mind right now were Lizzie.
"I need to find him immediately. Lizzie, where are you?’’
Lizzie is in St.'s church. Mark’s Basillica was sitting pensively and praying there. Vladimir's steps stopped in front of St.'s church. Mark’s Basilica and looked at the church from the outside, after a long time of standing, he entered into the church and sat not far away where Lizzie was sitting right now. Vladimit's gaze was straight ahead and unaware Lizzie was sitting not far beside Vladimir. Lizzie who had finished praying left the church and Vladimir remained there.
Outside the church, Lizzie paused for a while and looked at the church for a while, finally leaving it. Today in Venice the situation is very crowded, many tourists who come here. He noticed a group of tourists from Japan who had just arrived in Venice.
Lizzie looked at her watch and the time was 2. He promised to come to the restaurant at 1.
‘’Aduh, drugged, I'm already an hour late, surely I will be scolded by them."
Lizzie ran to the restaurant and nudged people several times. Finally he reached the front of the restaurant with a gasp of breath and headed straight to the back of the restaurant.
"Sven, I'm sorry. I'm late."
"You'd better meet Hendrik like he was waiting for you from earlier."
Lizzie went straight to Hendrik in the kitchen feeling guilty and scared.
"I'm sorry. I came late. I was so busy walking outside that I forgot time. I am guilty and forgive me,’’ said Lizzie.
"Lizzie, sit!’’
Lizzie sits in a chair provided by Hendrik.
"Listen to me carefully and don't interrupt me when I'm not done talking."
"Good."
"I just called one of my friends who was in Moscow and he told me that my boss had been arrested by the police and some of his men. It was Vladimir who got them arrested."
"Vladimir?"
"really. It turned out that time he came with money to save you and he was very disappointed in them, because they had lied to him. They didn't tell Vladimir that you had escaped and were no longer with them. That's when the police came and arrested them all. When Vladimir was about to leave the house, my boss shot him, but he survived because someone was helping him."
Lizzie's eyes had started to tear and tears had already dripped down her cheeks.
"That's right? Vladimir came to save me and he almost died trying to save me?"
"really. Now you don't have to be angry and upset with her anymore. He loves you so much. Now he must be sad to find you anywhere."
Lizzie cried and her tears would not stop flowing.
"Here, don't cry anymore. Now call him and tell him where you are now."
"I'll call him soon."
Lizzie quickly picks up her phone and searches for Vladimie's name, then presses the call button, but the phone is off, then she tries to call her office and Zoya receives a call from Lizzie.
"It's me, Lizzie."
"Lizzie, where have you been? Why are you calling us now? Are you okay?’’
"I'm sorry. I've got you guys worried. Now I'm in Venice and I'm fine. Can I talk to Vladimir?’’
"Dearly enough. Now Mr. Kalashnikov is not around."
"really. Has he gone home?’’
"No. He's gone looking for you. Do you know lately he's been very sad and suffering. He looks for you everywhere almost every day he daydreams and keeps busy with his work and often misses meals and eventually Vladimir falls unconscious in his office from exhaustion."
Lizzie started to shed tears again.
"really? I really don't know that. Now how is it?’’
"Now he's okay. Lizzie, now Mr. Kalashnikov is in Venice looking for you there."
"Eh. Vladimir is here since when?’’
"Since last night."
Lizzie hung up and ran out.
"Lizzie...Lizzie...Lizzie."
Lizzie hung up.
"I hope you two can meet there" Zoya muttered.
Hendrij was astonished to see Lizzie coming out of the restaurant in a hurry.
"Hey Lizzie, what's up?’’
"Vladimit's here looking for me. I need to be able to find her."
Lizzie ran away crying.
"Vladimir, where are you?’’
Lizzir kept running and running and finally he was in the middle of Piazza san Marco and his eyes went around looking for Vladimir. He repeatedly wiped away his tears that kept flowing.
Vladimir had just come out of the church and breathed in the afternoon air. He walked towards the grand canal and saw the bustle of people from there.
Lizzie was still in Piazza san Marco looking around for Vladimir for a few minutes, then she started walking while watching the people there. It was late in the afternoon and the air was getting colder. Lizzie continued down the streets of Venice, while Vladimir was still staring at the grand canal with a sad face.
"It looks like today I haven't been able to find Lizzie."
Vladimir saw a restaurant not far from where he was standing. He went into the restaurant and ordered food. After he finished eating, Vladimir played the piano in the restaurant. He played a song kiss the rain by Yiruma. Vladimir played this song for Lizzie while in Germany.
The sound of Vladimir's piano music was heard all the way outside. Lizzie, not far from the restaurant, heard the piano. He recognized the song and recalled the time Vladimir played it for him. Suddenly Lizzie realized something.
"Maybe the one who played that song was Vladimir."
Lizzie quickly heads to the restaurant, but on her way there, Lizzie is blocked by a long troupe of tourists. He had to wait a few minutes for the group to pass. Lizzie then ran towards the restaurant. When he got there the song had stopped and the person playing the song was gone, then Lizzie asked one of the waiters and the waiter said there was a man playing the piano here and the waiter mentioned his features and his features were similar to Vladimir's. Lizzie thanked the waiter and left immediately.
"Vladimir was here. Maybe he's not far from here yet."
Vladimir decided to go home and continue the search for Lizzie tomorrow. That afternoon the atmosphere on the streets of many people. Lizzie had to go to great lengths to find Vladimir in the crowd.
Lizzie was squeezed between many people and with great difficulty she slipped away and looked for a rather empty place.Suddenly from a distance she saw Vladimir was walking. Lizzie stood there, wanting to scream, but the voice did not come out. Lizzie began to shed tears and saw Vladimir walking further and further away.
Eventually Lizzie can move her legs and begins to chase after Vladimir. Vladimir's pace was very fast and Lizzie tried to catch up to him among the crowd. He continued to concentrate on Vladimir's figure in front of him, but some people blocked him and he lost Vladimir.
Vladimir was back in sight and Lizzie was delighted.
Vladimir stopped walking.
"Lizzie. I think I heard Lizzie's voice."
Vladimir looked back to find the person who had called his name, but he did not find the person who called him. Vladimir walked back.
"VLADIIIIMIIIIR."
Vladimir stopped walking again and looked back again. Lizzie was trying to get past the people in front of her, because many people, Vladimir could not see Lizzie who was among the crowd, Vladimir then continued walking again and finally he climbed the gondola.
Lizzie began to panic about losing Vladimir again and spread her gaze in all directions. Tears began to wet his face and he finally sat down limp with a sad and tired face. Lizzie then locked herself in her room.
Hendrik and Sven were confused by Lizzie's attitude today. Lizzie cried alone in her room, then she took her bag and took out the recorder from her bag and lit it up. Lizzie listens to Vladimir who sings Brahms’ lullaby for her. Her tears could not stop flowing.
"Vladimir, I want to see you."
While listening to the song Lizzie fell asleep without dinner and without changing her clothes.
🍀🍀🍀
Vladimir came home with a tired face.
"Where all day?’’Aleandra.
"I'm looking for Lizzie."
"If you look at your face it doesn't seem to have found it yet."
" I've been looking for him all day, but I haven't found him. I'll look for him again tomorrow."
"We've been looking for him, too. The result is the same as you. Vladimir, have you eaten?’’
"Not yet."
"Then we have dinner together."
They had dinner without any of them talking. Vladimir had already finished his dinner and said goodbye to go to his room. After bathing and changing clothes he went to the balcony and saw the view of Venice which was illuminated by lights. Vladimit looked up at the sky and saw the stars, although the stars tonight were few.
The air is getting colder. Vladimir went back into his room and dropped himself on the bed.
The next morning Vladimir as usual woke up early and immediately looked for Lizzie. He was confused where to look. He sat in Piazza san Marco. The situation there is still very quiet. A few minutes later the day was bright and there were already many people passing by there.Suddenly there was a person greeting him from behind and he was surprised when he saw the person and the person smiled at him.
Lizzie wakes up with puffy eyes, as she keeps crying all night.
"It's better today you're home alone,’’said Sven.
"I think so too. I can't get out with my eyes like this."
Lizzie had her breakfast prepared and ate it voraciously. Today his activities are just cleaning the apartment and watching TV. Lizzie's phone rang.
"Hello!"
"Lizzie, it's me, Hendrik. Can you 8pm go to Rialto bridge?’’
"Eh. What's wrong?’’
"Just you come. I'll know for myself."
"alright. I'll go there."
"OK."
Lizzie hung up and went into the room and slept. In the afternoon he woke up and got ready to go to the Rialto bridge. Lizzie left the house when the time was half-eight and was on the Rialto bridge 15 minutes earlier than the promised time. When the clock was almost eight o'clock at night, Lizzie did not see Hendrik coming.
"Why hasn't he come yet? Though it's almost 8 o'clock, but there's no sign of him yet."
Not far from Lizzie was a man who was watching her with a smiling face and the man approached her.
"Good night, Lizzie!"
Lizzie turned her back and was shocked when she found Vladimir there holding a bouquet of red roses. Vladimir approached Lizzie and gave the rose to her.
Lizzie, shed a tear and Vladimir wiped it gently. He immediately hugged Vladimir and Vladimir hugged Lizzie very tightly spilling his longing for Lizzie.
Vladimir let go of his embrace and looked at him fixedly. Lizzie's heart was beating faster because it was constantly stared at by Vladimit and the distance of their faces was very close.
"Lizzie, I love you."
Vladimir held onto Lizzie's lips with his thumb and seconds later their lips had already touched each other. Lizzie felt a sense of warmth as their lips intertwined. He shed tears of joy, having rediscovered his love. Lizzie wrapped her hands around Vladimir's neck, then raised Lizzie and they turned.
"Why can you be here?’’
"Hendrik told me to come here to see you."
"Rupanya so. He should have told me to come here. How did you meet him?’’
"We met by accident in Piazza san Marco."
"Oh."
"We'd better go home. They've been waiting for you."
"Who?’’
"You will know."
"Let's Vladimir tell me."
Vladimir just smiled and clasped tightly onto Lizzie's hand. Lizzie tries to persuade Vladimir many times to tell him, but Vladimir stays silent and eventually Lizzie gives up and also chooses silence along the way.
They both rode the gondola and down the canals. This is the first time Lizzie has been riding a gondola since her arrival in Venice. What's more now that he rides with Vladimir down the canals in Venice at night is so romantic Lizzie thought. The gondola stopped in front of a large and beautiful hot. Vladimir helps Lizzie get off the gondola.
They entered the hotel and were greeted by the Lizzie family. The girl was surprised to see the people she missed and loved were there. Lizzie hugged her parents.
"Sorry to worry you."
"It's Lizzie, the important thing now that you're home safely,’’ Dimitri said. Aleandra cried in Lizzie's arms, relieved her daughter was fine.
"Dad forgive me."
"That's okay. I'm happy, you're okay."[ ]
