(S2): Milly's Secret

Lizzie stared at the house she was living in with Ivander and Juliana when she got out of the car. Two days later he left home. The blowing wind blew his hair away. He had just returned from the village of Zelenogradsk when the sun began to set and the sky was decorated with red and orange and with a feeling of satisfaction and pleasure even though he could not meet the person who wanted to encountered it.

Just now Ivander's about to press the bell someone's already opened the door. Juliana appeared behind the door with a friendly and warm smile. A smile that could make Lizzie feel comfortable and accepted.

"Welcome to ! I'm guessing you guys are at the door."

Lizzie smiled and hugged Juliana.

"Come in!’’

Juliana took Lizzie to the living room and she already missed the comfort of being in this room. Juliana sat next to him with a smile always on her face.

‘’How are you traveling?"

" Good."

" Good to hear it."

"I'm so happy to be back there even if it's just for a little while."

Juliana smiled again.

" You must be tired. Rest up! "

Vladimir sat in the backyard of the Lenixton manor one sunny morning reading the newspaper . It doesn't feel like he's been here for almost a week and he has to go to Moscow. He also had some information from Jack that he visited on the second day he was in the village of Zelenogradsk.

Jack handed over some of the documents from his investigations and Vladimir had read them over and over until he had memorized what was written there and he saw a pendant belonging to Milly Constantine that was now clutched in his hand. The locket Jack found among the ruins of the Romanov mansion.

Vladimir's instinct tells Milly to know something no one else knows. Yes Milly Constantine has a secret that no one wants to share, but he will get it. He had to know what secret the girl had.

Vladimir felt a hand on his shoulder and then he poked his face and fell on the woman standing in front of him. Juliet, mother.

Juliet smiled and sat down next to Vladimir.

 "What are you thinking?’’

Valdimir clasped his mother's hand and smiled gently at her.

"none. I was just thinking about my meeting with the Constantine family."

"So you seriously want to help your father solve this case?"

"Yes. I hope you guys don't get too involved. I'm worried, if the criminal harms you."

"Mom don't worry. We'll be fine."

"alright. When will you return to Moscow?’’

"Fastly, because my work here is almost done. When will you go to Moscow?’’

"Eitherway. Right now I still can't leave this village."

"I understand."

A servant came in a hasty step.

"sorry. There was a little girl who wanted to meet Mr. Nicola, but I told you Mr. Nicola was in Moscow, but she insisted that she wanted to meet anyone, because there's something the girl wants to say."

"Who?" juliet asked with a confused face.

" Fanya Corbin."

"I know the girl. Get him in!"

"Good."

Fanya walked into Nicola's study and looked hesitant. He was happy when he met Vladimir.

"Hello Fanya! How are you?"

"What do you want to say to us?"ask Vladimir.

" So I saw Lizzie at her house."

" Whataa? That is impossible" Vladimir cried.

"I'm sure it's Lizzie. I can't possibly look at it wrong. I've known Lizzie for a long time."

"Now where is Lizzie?"

"He's gone with a man?"

"A man?"

"Yes." Yeah."

Vladimir glanced at his mother.

"What is Ivander's mumgkin?" ask Juliet.

"It could have been" replied Vladimir.

"That means Lizzie's alive. We have to tell Dimitri and Sergei" Juliet said.

"I'll tell them Lizzie's really alive. At least we know Lizzie's okay."

"Yes." Yeah."

"Is Lizzie coming back here?"ask Fanya.

"Lizzie's definitely back" Vladimir said.

Fanya looked happy and her face was back in radiance.

"Thank you for telling us."

" This is his car number" said Fanya.

" You recorded the car number?"ask Dimitri.

Fanya nodded.

" Smart kid. Thank ye. Lizzie will be found out soon."

Milly stands in front of Irvin Fretzie's house in Moscow. He stared at the two-story house. Sadness as well as guilt mixed in him. For a moment Milly hesitantly entered the house to meet Irvin.

Two days ago he asked his mother for permission to go to Moscow for some business. His mother didn't know Milly's real reason. Esther let Milly go and now she's here to see Irvin. Milly strengthened her heart and finally walked quickly into the house.

Milly sits uneasily waiting for Irvin to come see her. He did not know if Irvin still remembered it or not. He just wanted to know the poor waiter's situation. Irvin is a very nice guy. Since Milly was a child she always played with Irvin and the man always brought new toys for her. Now Irvin has to be accused for his cowardice. Milly fears her life will be in danger. Fearful that he and his mother were killed.

Milly poked her face. Irvin was already in front of her looking at her in confusion. The man's face had changed a lot not as young as it used to be. Her hair had started to gray and fine lines had already appeared on her face. But Irvin remains as he once knew him. He always seemed calm and quiet.

"Hello Irvin! How are you?’’milly asked in a loud voice.

"Who are you?’’

 Milly sighs. He already figured Irvin didn't recognize him."I'm Milly. Milly Rosette Constantine."

Irvin stared fixedly at Milly.

"Milly,’’them."Are you really Milly?’’

Milly nodded her head quickly.’’Yes, I am Milly."

"You've grown up and become a beautiful woman."

Milly's face blushed red.’’Thank you." Thank you."

Irvin smiled at him making Milly's guilt even more so. Irvin, who is now in his 40s, still has a smile that always makes Milly's heart warm.

"sorry. I just visited you this time. Actually my arrival here is to apologize to you?’’

Milly was unable to hold back her grief and guilt to Irvin and she started crying.’’Because of me, you're accused of being a murderer."

"But I'm not proven a killer, but what do you mean, Milly?’’

Milly was still sobbing in tears by lowering her head. "Milly, look at me! What do you mean?’’

Milly slowly looked back at Irvin with a face already soaked by tears.’’I'm sorry Irvin! I'm really sorry."

Milly brought her face closer to Irvin.

"10 years ago I already knew who had tried to kill Mr. Dimitri and Mrs Aleandra,’’whispers.

"Who did it Milly? Say who?’’asked Irvin with a face.

"Anthony Lennox."

Irvin looked at Milly with a look of disbelief.’’But that's impossible, but that's how it can be. Anthony Lennox is a lawyer."

"I know it,’’said Mily.’’But he did it."

Milly finally told me about the night of the fire at the Romanov mansion."

"I saw him unmask after trying to kill Mr. Dimitri and Mrs Aleandra at the top of the stairs by him. I saw her from behind the door,’’ Milly said in tears.

Irvin closed his eyes.’’Who else knows about this?’’

"none. I haven't told anyone including Mr. Vladimir, Mr. Vladimir and his father seem to be investigating the case."

"You should tell him this. Tell everyone. I beg you."

"alright. I'll tell him all this. Now Lord Vladimir is in Zelenogradsk."

"Milly, why are you keeping all this a secret?’’

"I'm sorry. I should have said all this a long time ago. I'm afraid Mr. Lennox will hurt my mother and I’l."

Milly was crying. "I was too cowardly to be defeated by fear, but even so my guilt had always haunted me all this time. I'm sorry Irvin. I'm sorry."

"Not crying! Now you go home and tell Mr. Vladimir everything."

Milly nodded her head.’’Alright." Milly wiped her tears, then smiled at Irvin.

"Thank you Milly."

"I'm leaving."

"Be careful! Now I'm counting on you, Milly."

Once again Milly nodded her head, then left Irvin. Outside Milly exhaled a long breath. There was a sense of relief after telling everything to Irvin. He hurried to return to the village of Zelenogradsk with a feeling of calm and relief.

Milly arrived at the village of Zelenogradsk at night and went straight to the Lenixton manor to meet Vladimir, because he wanted to tell Vladimir immediately. The Lenixton manor looked very lonely but Milly still saw some servants who were seen walking back and forth around the manor from the front gate. He pressed the bell and heard a voice from a man.

‘’I Milly would like to meet Mr. Vladimir. It's very important’’.

"good. Wait a minute!’’

Milly was already looking very agitated waiting for the gate to open. Not long after that the gate opened and Milly walked very quickly. Upon arrival at Lenixton Milly's manor is taken by the butler to meet Vladimir in his father's study.

"Please sit down Milly! I've been waiting for your arrival,’’ Vladimir said.

"Eh..’’

"I knew you'd come to see me."

Milly sat down and her hands squeezed her skirt to cover up her nervousness.

"So what do you want to talk to me about?’’ Vladimir looked at Milly across the table.

"I. I want to tell you that. if I know."

"Know what?’’

"If I knew who tried to kill Mr. Dimitri." Milly exhaled a long breath.

"What? Who is Milly?’’

Milly swallowed his saliva."That man is Mr. Anthony Lennox."

"Whataa? This is impossible. It's impossible." Vladimir looked at Milly with a look of disbelief.

"Are you sure what you said?"

"Yes." Yeah."

"But why Mr Lennox? What reason?"

"I don't know."

" It's a surprise for me. I can hardly believe it."

"I am too."

"Thank you for telling me."

" Don't tell me who told you. I'm afraid Mr. Lennox will hurt me and my mother."

Vladimir saw anxiety and fear on Milly's face.

"Just calm. We're not gonna let Mr. Lennox know that you saw him trying to kill Uncle Dimitri."

"Thank you." Milly breathed a sigh of relief.

" We'll protect you, because you're a key witness."

" Will Mr Lennox be arrested soon?"

" First we have to find solid evidence to catch him."

"So that's it."

"We'll definitely catch him soon. Mr. Lennox must take responsibility for all his actions."

" All right then. I'd better go home. I've left my mother too long at home."

" Do I need to drive you?"

"no need. Thank you." Thank you."

After Milly's departure, Vladimir called his father and told him everything Milly had said. Nicola, who heard Vladimir's story, was shocked. He didn't think Anthony was the culprit.

" What do you think of Dad?"

" If Anthony is guilty we have to arrest him and put him on trial."

" Do Dimitri's uncle and Sergei's grandfather have to be informed now?"

" Just dad's gonna tell them I happen to see them tomorrow."

" all right. I'm back in Moscow tomorrow morning. Oh yeah dad, do you remember Demgan Fanya?"

" Dad remembered. What's wrong with her?"

"Fanya told me to see Lizzie at Silverbell Farms."

"really?" nicola was surprised.

" yes. Fanya's convinced it's Lizzie. That means Lizzie's still alive."

"This is great news. Dimitri and Sergei would have been happy."

" Fanya also recorded the number of the car that Lizzie was carrying. I'll send Dad his number."

" All right."

Vladimir hung up. He smiles. Soon everything will be resolved after waiting for 10 years. [ ]
