(S3): Picnic

Vladimir let go of his embrace and looked at Lizzie seriously. She caressed Vladimit's face, the face she had longed for and ended up being close to him. Vladimir slowly brought his face closer and wrapped his hands around Lizzie's waist, then kissed her gently. The girl could feel a warm touch on her lips and she kissed back. Tears were pouring down the corner of her eyes.

Then there was a knocking sound and the two of them quickly let go. The doctor and nurse came in to check on Lizzie. The nurse placed a thermometer on Lizzie's forehead and the temperature returned to normal tomorrow. Lizzie is happy to finally be home.

"Thank you very much!"

The doctor and nurse came out.

"What does the doctor say?’’Vladimir.

"I'm healthy and I can go home tomorrow."

"really that?Thank goodness’’

Vladimir hugged Lizzie. Cellphone ringing. Lizzie smiled when she saw who called her.

‘’It's from Nicholas."

Lizzie took the call and talked to her father.

"Hello Nicholas, I'm healthy now. Don't worry about me anymore! I'll be home tomorrow. Ok, I'll see you."

Lizzie hung up.

"Lizzie, that was Mr Liebert?’’ask Vladimir.

"Yes. You've met him, haven't you?’’

"Yes. I've met him, but I don't know at the time that you knew each other."

"He's a very nice guy."

"I know."

Vladimir's hand was still stroking his hair and they stared at each other for a while and Lizzie began to feel her heartbeat return quickly. When Vladimir was about to kiss her again, suddenly the door opened.

"Oh. Excuse me. I have disturbed you,’’ said the man in shock.

"It's okay. Come on in!’’

"Vladimir, this is Eddy, son of Reiko and Nicholas."

Vladimir stood up and extended his hand.

"It's nice to meet you."

"I'm better."

"Thank God. Sorry I just visited my sister now. I'm not preoccupied with school activities."

Lizzie's cheeks blushed red and Vladimir glanced at Lizzie.

After they had stored the suitcase in Liebert's castle, Aleandra and Dimitri returned to the hospital and went to Lizzie's room after talking to the doctor.

"What the doctor said about me. Is there no problem?’’

‘’Do not worry. The doctor says you're fine and need plenty of rest, and tomorrow you can go home. Now I want to go home first, take a break for a while. Mother's body aches all."

"Vladimir can you take care of Lizzie tonight for me. I'll be back tomorrow."

Lizzie's face was blushing red. After the two of them left, now in the room there were only the two of them. Lizzie and Vladimir looked awkward in the room and there was a moment of silence. Vladimir then approached Lizzie.

Lizzie realized from earlier that Vladimir kept staring at her non-stop. He became nervous and embarrassed to be looked at like that. Lizzie played her finger on the blanket.

Vladimir smiled at Lizzie's misbehavior.

"Until when will you be here?’’lizzir said suddenly.

"Maybe until next week."

"What a moment."

"Why? Do you want me longer here?’’

Lizzie looked at Vladimir, her face instantly back red, she quickly bowed her head not wanting Vladimir to see her blushing face.

"Unfortunately I can't linger here. Even though my heart wants to stay here longer and stay with you longer. I have to go back to Russia. My job there is a lot. When are you going back to Moscow?’’

"That's. Maybe after my course is over, then I go back to Moscow to continue my studies that are left behind maybe I will enter in the new year of study."

Lizzie felt again that Vladimir was staring at her again. He could no longer bear to be stared at by him like that, then Lizzie turned to Vladimir and their gaze met, then Lizzie quickly threw her face away.

"Nothing?’’

Vladimir touched Lizzie's chin and made her face turn back to Vladimir. Vladimir was worried.

"Lizzie, are you okay? Are you sick again? I'll call the doctor."

Lizzie quickly held onto Vladimir's hand to hold him away.

"I'm fine. I'm not sick, so there's no need to call a doctor."

Vladimir still put on a worried face, then touched Lizzir's forehead and face. Lizzie could feel the warmth of Vladimir's hand throughout his body.

‘’Don't worry about me. I'm fine."

Lizzie tried to convince Vladimir. Vladimir clasped Lizzie's hand tightly.

"I was scared something happened to you. Thank goodness you're okay. Oh yeah, I almost forgot to give you something."

Vladimir took a small pink parcel from his jacket and handed it to Lizzie, then Lizzie opened it.

"Yes. I really like it. This bracelet is so pretty."

"Let me put it up for you."

Lizzie noticed the bracelet that was already attached to her hand.

"Vladimir thank you. Today you've given me many gifts."

"The doll and the bracelet are your birthday present, even if your birthday is over. Teddy's doll just think of me as me, when I'm back in Russia. You can hug her, when you miss me, because I'll miss you after I come home too."

Vladimir stood up and Lizzie held him by holding Vladimir's hand.

"Don't go. Don't leave me."

Vladimir sat down. "I'm not going anywhere. I just want to get some water."

Lizzie smiled again and Vladimir suddenly kissed Lizzie's lips gently. Lizzie was shocked then her eyes closed and wrapped her hands around Vladimir's neck, returning her kiss. Vladimir could not hold himself back without realizing he kept on****** Lizzie's lips incessantly. Finally Vladimir started to get hold of himself and let go of his kiss.

"sorry. Did I hurt you?’’

"Ti-no,’’word Lizzie shy.

Vladimir smiled and held tightly onto Lizzie's hand, then heard another knock on the door. A hospital employee gave Lizzie dinner.

Lizzie simply looked at the food without the slightest touch.

"Why don't you eat it?’’

"You must eat to heal quickly or I will feed you."

Finally Lizzie ate it even though it did not run out.

"Why don't you spend it?’’

"I'm full. Just spend it with you. You haven't eaten."

Finally Vladimir ate the rest of Lizzie's food until it ran out.

"You better take your medicine and sleep."

Vladimir enveloped Lizzie.

"Well, before I go to bed, I want to tell you something."

"Well, what do you want to say."

Lizzie looked at Vladimir.

"You're everything I've got in this world. I love you and will always love you. I live only for you. Without your life, I cannot live anymore and I cannot part with you. Vladimir, I love you."

Vladimir smiled, then gave a light kiss on Lizzie's lips.

Lizzie woke up early and her body was healthy and fresh. He went downstairs and went to the living room and found Vladimir alone there reading a book in front of a burning fireplace. Lizzie sat nearby and watched Vladimir reading.

"It looks like sunny today you want to take a walk with me on the home page?’’

"Why walk in the yard? I thought you were taking me somewhere."

‘’I wanted to ask you out and go somewhere, but I canceled, because you just got well, I don't want you to get sick anymore. So we'd better take a walk in the castle grounds. The castle grounds are huge and we can also have a picnic there. The view is good too. We'll get food there."

‘’Good. I'll have one of the waiters here to bring you some food."

‘’This castle is huge. Have you ever lost your way here?’’

‘’Even a few times I got lost in this castle, when I was first living here. We'd better have breakfast now. Maybe my parents were there."

After eating Lizzie and Vladimir went for a walk in the courtyard of the house. Lizziemememshow the gardens are neatly arranged. In the backyard there are many statues with various sizes that have been covered by vines and there are already many mosses. In the backyard is a huge fountain. There is also a very large fish pond and several gazebos. After circling the castle grounds, the two of them went to one of those gazebos and sat there to rest. Lizzie's massaging her achy legs.

Lizzie hesitates to give her legs to Vladimir, then she starts massaging Lizzie's legs. When Vladimir's two large hands touched his feet, Lizzie's body felt stung by a bee and could feel the warmth of Vladimir's hand. Lizzie looked at Vladimir who was massaging her legs.

"Vladimir, is there something strange on my face?’’

Lizzie instantly threw her gaze away from Vladimir.

"N-nothing's weird."

"Lizzie, come home with me to Russia."

Vladimir looked at Lizzie with a sad face and began to massage Lizzie's legs again.

"I can't come with you home, because I have to finish my course first. When I'm done, I'll go back to Russia. So wait for me. Will you wait for me in a minute?’’

"Lizzie, I've been waiting for you patiently it seems that waiting again is not a problem. I'm used to waiting for you."

Lizzie lowered her legs from Vladimor's lap and sat down nearby.

Vladimir finally smiled after being forced by Lizzie to smile. He then wrapped his hands around Lizzie's waist. For a while they looked at each other and Vladimir lowered his head, whispering in Lizzie's ear. The girl felt Vladimir's breath on her cheek. Lizzie's heart stopped.

"thank you. You want to love me and let me get all your attention. I'm so glad I got all that."

Vladimir kissed Lizzie's ears and neck. Lizzie didn't move at all. He was amused when Vladimir's lips touched his ears and neck. Vladimir looked at Lizzie and smiled ignorantly.

"I'm hungry.Let's have lunch."

Lizzie quiet. Didn't hear Vladimir speak.

"Lizzie...Lizzie...’’.

"Eh."

Lizzie was stunned by his surprise.

"Why are you? I just called you silent. You were daydreaming what?’’

"I'm hungry."

Lizzie quickly contacted the waiter at home to bring her lunch.

"Let's lunch come soon."

"Lizzie, if I'm back in Russia, you don't get too close to other men. Just be careful if you dare to be close to another man."

Lizzie ate so voraciously and Vladimir smiled amusedly watching Lizzie eat like that. After they had lunch, they proceeded to surround the castle grounds while holding hands. Lizzie felt Vladimit clutching her hand so firmly, that it was not easy to remove her hand from Vladimir's hand. He shivered in the cold and Vladimir took off his coat and put it on him.

"Wear this, so you don't get cold."

"What about you? You'll be cold too."

"It's okay. I was still dressed in thick clothes, so there was no need to worry about me. We better go home. Your body is already very cold. I don't want you to get sick anymore. Look your hands are also very cold and red."

Vladimir blew Lizzie's hand so that it would not be cold anymore and Lizzie felt a warm gust in both hands, then Vladimir rubbed Lizzie's hand with his hand.
