Shattering Hearts
(S2): Abduction 2
A black sedan stopped with the sound of a brake in front of a maple tree where Fanya was hiding. A man came straight out of the driver's seat in a hurry and his eyes caught Fanya's figure beside the tree with a trembling body, her face filled with tears and the look on her face looked terrified. "Fanya..’’call him.
"Vladimir,’’tuk Fanya with a trembling voice.
Vladimir ran straight towards him.
Since thirty minutes ago, his heart felt uneasy and was afraid that something bad was happening to Lizzie and his heart's uneasiness was proven to be true. After receiving a call from Fanya, he immediately told his father to ask for help, then drove his car at high speed to where Fanya was.
On the way, he meets Jack and the driver, who are aware of his stupor. Jack immediately explains the incident to Vladimir and the man is shocked when told by Vladmir that Lizziw has been kidnapped and Fanya managed to survive the kidnapping.
Fanya was still crying in Vladimir's arms and kept mentioning Lizzie's name and continued to blame herself. Vladimir then looked at Fanya and cupped her face with both hands. ‘’It's not your fault, so don't blame yourself."
"But..’’.
" I promise, I'll bring Lizzie back, so don't blame yourself again. Understood!’’
Fanya nodded. ‘’Now we should go home,’’ Vladimir said by leading Fanya into the car.
"Do you know who did it?’’vladimir asked as they were already in the car on the way to his family home.
Fanya shook her head."It happened so fast and I didn't see the culprit because their faces were wearing masks."
Fanya turned her head to the side looking at Vladimir who was driving. "Why would they kidnap us?’’ asked Fanya whose eyes were filled with tears.
‘’I don't know."
Fanya was silent and her tears that had gathered in her eyes started to flow out again.
‘’Everything will be fine,’’ Vladimir said without distracting him from the streets.
Arriving at home, the butler who opened the door was surprised to see the state of Fanya.
’’Can you get a waiter to fetch water for Fanya?’’Vladimir.
"Ba.good."The butler immediately left even though he was still curious as to what had happened.
Vladimir sat Fanya on the living room couch and before long Jack and Nicola came. Jack immediately dropped himself on the sofa and he stared guiltily at Fanya. ‘’I'm sorry! Can't take care of you."
‘’This is not the time for self-blame that we need to do now is to find a way to save Lizzie,’’ Vladimir said anxiously.
"What Vladimir said was right. We have to rescue Lizzie right away" Nicola said.
"But we don't know where Lizzie is" Fanya said.
"Whoever the villain is for sure they will contact us,’’ujar Jack chimed in.
"It looks like there is no other choice but we wait,’’tukar Nicola.
A female servant brought a glass of water to Fanya and the girl immediately gulped it down and now her feelings were much calmer. Aleandra and Dimitri had just come to the Romanov mansion. They both looked very anxious, when Nicola told her that Lizzie had been kidnapped, Aleandra immediately cried out hysterically before finally collapsing.
" How did Lizzie get kidnapped?" dimitri asked in anger.
Jack then tells the story at the time of Lizzie's abduction. The atmosphere became quiet and tense. The minute by minute had passed and after two hours had passed there was no caller from the kidnapper making Vladimir very upset. He got up from the sofa and walked to the window.
Fanya could feel the uneasiness of everyone who was here. The door that opened suddenly shocked them. Sergei burst in with Nester and looked at them in confusion. ‘’Why do you guys see me like that?’’tanyakanya.
"Because you have surprised us" Dimitri said.
"sorry. Has something happened? When viewed from your expressions, something is happening, right?:
"Lizzie kidnapped,’’said Fanya. Sergei widened his eyes.
" Who has dared to kidnap Lizzie?’’ask Sergei to be angry.
"I don't know there's still no word from the kidnapper" Nicola said
"Oh my God."
"I'm sure Lizzie will be fine. They're not gonna hurt him" Jack said.
"Hopefully."

Today is back to being a very tiring and long day for Fanya. Yesterday night and until this morning, Lizzie was still with him, talking and joking with him. Her tears flowed back without her being held back and prayed that Lizzie would be fine. Sergei's cell phone rang aloud enough to shock everyone. A man's voice rang out from across the phone shortly after he answered the incoming call.
"Listen carefully!’’said the man. ‘’If you want Lizzie welcome come alone to see me."
"Who are you?"ask Sergei.
"Grigor Lennox."
"So Lizzie is with you?’’
"really. Lizzie is with us, if you want to see her again, come alone. I'll give you instructions on where you should go."
‘’What is Lizzie okay?’’ask Sergei worriedly.
"Lizzie's fine. I will release Lizzie , if you want to replace her position ‘’.
"alright. I'm coming."
"Good, but remember don't tell anyone, otherwise, we will kill Lizzie,’’threaten Grigor.
"I won't tell anyone,’’ Sergei said in fear, then Grigor gave a briefing on where he should go and the man also said there would be someone to pick him up to take him to Grigor.
"I understand."
The phone connection was also cut off. Sergei gripped his phone firmly.
"Why would Lizzie's kidnapper want to see Dad?" ask Dimitri."
"Dad doesn't know either."
"It's weird" Nicola said.

In the early morning Sergei immediately boarded a taxi that had been ordered by Grigor to pick him up.
"We will follow from behind" Nicola said.
After an hour's drive, Sergei arrives in front of a city park when the day is bright. He sat on one of the park benches not until ten minutes waiting, someone came to him.
"Follow me!’’the man's orders.
Sergei blinked his eyes as his blindfold opened. He also looked around the room furnished with expensive furniture and could conclude that now he might be in the sitting room, now he was sitting on a chair with a high backrest
"Hello Sergei!’’
"Who are you?"
"I'm Grigor Lennox "
"Where is Lizzie?’’
"Calm down! Lizzie's fine."
"I want to see it."
Grigor signals one of his men to take Lizzie. Sergei never took his eyes off Grigor. The man who tried to kill his family members. It felt like he was eager to vent his anger at the man, but it would be a waste, he would not win against him. Grigor crossed the room, then sat in front of him.
"Now I'm here . What do you want?’’
"I want you to die."
"Why do you want me dead? Why do you hate me and also hate my family until you have the heart to try to kill them,’’, while Sergei is angry.
Grigor leaned his body watching Sergei more closely, scrutinizing every inch of Sergei's body and the man caught the fear in the look in his eyes. Grigor again grinned and looked at him with hatred.
"That's because you've done me wrong."
"I don't understand what I've done wrong to you? I never even knew you."
"You have made my mother die."
"Me?"asked Sergei surprised
"Yes. You may not remember. When I was 15 years old, there was a car accident and our car got into the ravine and was dragged down by the river. My grandfather and grandmother died, and I survived. I lost my memory and I finally remembered who I was. Since then I have been planning to take revenge on you and destroy your family.
Sixty years ago, my mother met you when she was twenty and she fell in love with you and you two became lovers. My mother was very happy when she found out she was pregnant, and then she told you about her pregnancy, but you refused to take responsibility and you had the heart to throw the mother out of your life. Finally she left with grief and brought her great disappointment. One week after mom announced her pregnancy, you were reportedly engaged to a beautiful woman from a noble family like yourself. My mother keeps crying out to you.
My mother then went to a remote place to win her over and it wasn't long before my mother gave birth to twin boys and the baby boys were me and Anthony. Mother took care of us with all her heart until I grew up. My mom always hides who my dad really is every time I ask him.
I always see my mother crying silently while looking at a picture of a man and I'm sure it's my father. One day when I was just coming home from school, my mother asked me to come and talk. He also told his love story . As long as my mother told me, I was furious at my father who had left my pregnant mother. You have thrown us away while you live happily with your wife and son. I am so angry and hate you. I should also be in your family environment, so that our lives are fulfilled and mothers do not have to work hard to finance our lives and schools. I am so jealous to see your happy life. My father no longer remembers me and my mother.
One night I saw my mother lying on the floor with her hands full of incisions on her wrists. My mother tried to kill herself, because she couldn't hold back her grief anymore and she had already lost a lot of blood. Not long after, my mother died and I promised to take revenge on you and your family. "You're ruthless,’’yell Sergei angry.
"You deserve it."
Grigor held onto Sergei's shoulder with both hands, leaning over his face.
"You too must die,’’he said.
Sergei felt his body trembling with fear, now that his life was in the hands of this man maybe this was the last day of his life, but before he died, he wanted to meet with Lizzie.
Someone opened the door, both turned their attention to the open door. There appeared one of his men along with Lizzie.
Lizzie immediately ran towards Sergei and hugged him.
"Grandfather."
"You okay? Did they hurt you?’’tanyanya.
"I'm fine."
’’Thank God! Now you can go freely from here.:
"Really?’’ask Lizzie happy.
Sergei nodded.’’They promised me to release you, if I were their prisoner now."
‘’What?’’peekuk Lizzie surprised."But I guess we'll go together."
Sergei's gaze became sad and his blue eyes looked cute.’’I'm sorry, Lizzie! I'll stay here."
Lizzie grabs Sergei's hand and the girl is about to cry.‘’No. gabe. Grandpa should come with me too."
"I can't."
Lizzie's cry broke.
"Now go!’’.
"I don't want to."
"LIZZIE,’’bitak Sergei.
Lizzie speechless . The atmosphere became silent for a moment.
"We'd better finish our business. I want all this to end quickly" Sergei said after Lizzie left.
"I also this all this quickly ended "
Grigor pulled a gun out of his desk drawer, then pointed it right at Sergei.
"Do you know, these are the times I've waited so long after I've always failed to kill you and I'm finally going to kill you with my own hands."
Grigor prepared to press the trigger of his gun and Sergei closed his eyes waiting for his imminent death. The sound of gunfire was finally heard and something heavy hit his body.
Sergei also felt a warm liquid on his body, but it was strange why his body felt no pain.
‘’Grandfather,’’call someone in a voiceover .
When Sergei opened his eyes, he was shocked by what he saw. Lizzie was beside him covered in blood. The warm liquid he felt earlier was Lizzie's blood.
Sergei looked so panicked and so anxious. ‘’Quick call an ambulance!’’he shouted to Grigor who was still in the room. Grigor was surprised to see Lizzie who came suddenly and the target missed the hot lead hit Lizzie's body right in her chest. Lizzie's blood flow slowly spread throughout her clothes and looked extremely pale.
‘’Lizzie survive! You cannot die, you hear?’’
Sergei keeps shedding tears .’’Hang on,’’whisper.’’I beg you."
"You'll catch up soon,’’ Grigor said.
Sergei closed his eyes ready to accept his death. Suddenly the door opened, several policemen, Vladimir, Jack and Ivander came charging in. Sergei whose eyes had been filled with tears his vision became blurred . He couldn't see what was going on next and then his head went round and round. Sergeu collapsed beside Lizzie.[ ]
