Chapter 78 ~ Offending the Past

Ken and Michele's wedding is next week. After passing a mutual agreement, finally the wedding was held very luxuriously in a star hotel. All the party preparations were already nearly a hundred percent.

Ken brings both of his adoptive parents to live temporarily in Ken's long-unoccupied birth parents' home. A few days ago Ken also lived there and asked people to clean it up.

“Have you taken her to the doctor?” ken asked while holding Tristan. The child's body was warm.

“No. I still gave him the heat-lowering drug first.” Michele answered calmly.

Without saying anything Ken took Tristan out of the room, and he immediately took Tristan to the hospital for treatment. Michele is forced to follow Ken, though he has no idea where Tristan will be taken.

“Ken, Tristan is sick. Where are you taking it?” michele asked as Ken opened the car door.

“But Tristan is just a common fever. I just gave him the medicine,-“

“Enough! I'll take him to the doctor myself.” Cut Ken and he gets into the car.

Michele let out her lust slowly. Inevitably he must join Ken to check on Tristan.

They are already in the car. Tristan, who had been sitting next to the wheel, was now in Michele's lap. The two of them were both silent, only Tristan's moaning was heard.

Ken turned his car into a hospital. Michele just shook her head slowly, because she thought Ken was too much.

Once there, Ken retrieves Tristan from Michele's sling and takes her into the IGD room.

After being examined for a few minutes by a doctor, Tristan had just a normal fever. And no need to be hospitalized. Doctors only prescribe heat-lowering drugs along with antibiotics. After that, Tristan was allowed to go home.

Ken threw Tristan on the back jog so the boy could sleep freely. After that, he drove the car to his house.

Michele has been silent since then and asked little after hearing the doctor's explanation about Tristan's condition.

“I'm sorry.” said Ken with his gaze still straight forward.

“Yes, I know you must be worried about Tristan. I know you care about him. But you need to know that I am his mother who certainly already knows how to handle it. I'm not a two-day mother. And I'm used to going through things like this.” Reply Michele.

Suddenly Ken pulled his car over after hearing Michele's words just now. indeed he was very worried about Tristan's situation like that, but after hearing Michele's last sentence made his heart hurt. Why does it look like Michele is cornering her.

“Iya. everything is my fault. You're pregnant with Tristan and taking care of him alone. I am not a good father. Who should know about such circumstances.”

Michele is speechless. Why it's like this. The intention of the heart wants to tell Ken, why it's like blaming Ken.
