Chapter 32 ~ Happy Sleep

After dropping Adel off, Ken decides to sleep in his apartment. Because it's late and it'll be hard to find a taxi. Plus it's raining tonight.

Ken enters his apartment unit which he has not occupied for a long time. Then he entered a room that no one could enter, except himself. The room was still very neat even though he never occupied it.

Ken opened the nightstand drawer and took a photo album. The photo contains a picture of him and his family. Ken misses so much the family warmth he hasn't had in a long time. The shadow goes back to the past. How could it be that he was left forever by his parents and also his only brother in close proximity.

Since the age of Ken entered the age of thirteen, more precisely when he entered middle school. His father asks his assistant Rainer to take Ken overseas and recognizes Ken as his son. At that time Ken had no idea what the reason was. Moreover, he had to part with Angel, his favorite sister who suffered from liver cancer.

Mama Ken only says that he will convert Angel abroad, so it is better to leave Ken to Rainer's wife who happens to live abroad with her daughter, Adel.

Although Ken lives abroad with his wife, but almost every two or three months his parents always come to see him. Until Ken graduated from college, he only knew the reason his Papa exiled himself because he did not want his life threatened from his Papa business opponents. After that incident, the state of Mama Ken also dropped. The middle-aged woman was very sad to be left behind by her beloved husband. Until finally his condition worsened and within a week, the mother breathed her last. Be Ken just living alone with Angel.

Ken could not keep quiet, he continued to look for the cause of his Papa's death with the help of Rainer. Rainer asks Ken to hide his identity.

Because of the focus on finding his Papa business opponent who is suspected of having caused his death, Ken forgot to pay attention to Angel. Her younger sister who was still in the third grade of junior high school.

Ken just realized that all day did not see Angel's whereabouts. He went to his sister's room and did not find her. It turns out that since noon Angel has not come home from school. Ken was panicking too. He searches for Angel with Rainer's help. The school does not know about Angel's whereabouts.

Ken was really frustrated at that time.until late at night there was no news about Angel. The man was very sorry for having neglected his sister for focusing on his Papa business opponent.

In the morning Ken gets bad news from Rainer that Angel was found in a bush not far from his school. Ken went straight to the hospital where Angel is currently. Ken thinks his sister's still safe. But how surprised he was when Rainer drove him to the morgue.

Rainer tells Ken that Angel's body when found naked. Angel is alleged to have been** and then murdered. Not only that, it turns out that one of Angel's organs was also taken by the irresponsible person.

“What are you doing now? don't you miss me my lover?” that's the message Michele wrote to Ken.

Without thinking long, Ken directly pressed the icon of the phone picture. He immediately contacted Michele, wanting to listen to her voice at least in order to remove her grief after reminiscing about her bitter past.

Finally that night Ken and Michele missed through a phone call. The two of them continued talking until Michele fell asleep in her sleep. Ken knew that because he could hear Michele's subtle snoring firsthand.

“Good sleep! I love you, Michele.” Say Ken before closing the call.
