Chapter 28 ~ Taking Risk

Michele couldn't close her eyes last night. He was still mingled with Ken's conversation with the woman.To be honest Michele was surprised and did not expect that behind Ken's friendly and kind attitude it turned out that the man was a hitman.

Is Michele scared after this if she meets Ken. Of course, fear must exist. But somehow he still does not want to lose Ken. That was the impact of Ken's presence in his life. Although he already knew who Ken really was, he did not want the man to leave.

Michele flipped her body. But still his eyes could not be closed. Wanted to contact Ken and ask him the truth, but his guts weren't brave enough. 

By morning, Michele's eyes were wide open. But clearly visible black eye bags that he immediately woke up and cleaned his body. After that, get ready to go to the office.

Michele wore sunglasses before getting out of her car. He did not want everyone to see his eye bags, after which Michele sauntered into the sixth floor.

“You okay?” ask Ken.

“I..iya.yeah I am fine.” Michele replied nervously.

Ken grew curious when he heard Michele's nervous speech, he put the mop and approached Michele who was sitting and still wearing her sunglasses.

“You sick, Chel?” ken asked in surprise when he saw Michele's eye bags.

Michele turned her face. He avoided Ken's eyes. He recalled Ken's words last night.

Ken grew curious about Michele's strange-looking attitude this morning, and he placed the back of his hand on Michele's forehead. Surely Michele's forehead is warm. It seems that the woman is sick.

“You're warm, Chel. You are sick.” Ken looked worried. After that he came out of Michele's room to make warm drinks and water for Michele. Not only that, Ken also brought bread to Michele.

“You eat this bread first and drink a lot.” Ken said so attentively.

Michele was silent. If he had been afraid of Ken, now that fear turned into a sense of happiness because Ken was very attentive to him.

Ken sat next to Michele on the sofa. He accompanied Michele until the bread was eaten. After that Ken also prepared vitamins for Michele.

“Nah now take this vitamin so that your body is more fit.” Ken gave Michele that vitamin.

“Thank you, Ken.” Michele said briefly.

“I just guessed. Because when viewed from this eye bag, it can prove that you haven't slept all night. What's up, hemm?”

“I. Just hard to sleep. maybe because the first day served as president, so make me a little burdened.” Michele is lying.

“You relax only. I know you are a smart and smart woman. So stay calm if you face a problem.” Ken gave advice.

“Yes already, I will continue my work first. If you need anything, just contact me.” said Ken. But Michele quickly stood up and hugged Ken tightly.

Ken was still silent when Michele suddenly hugged him. He was waiting for what Michele wanted to say.

“Ken, please never intend to leave me. I don't know how my life would have been if there were no you. We just got to know. But this is how it works.” Michele said in a soft voice.

“Why are you talking like this, as if knowing I will leave you?”

“I'm really scared of losing you, Ken. Please don't do it all.” Michele said in a pleading tone.

Ken broke his arms and raised Michele's chin so he could speak directly while looking into her eyes.

“The picture is huge, Chel if we keep together. I'm sure your parents will never approve of our relationship. We just live this relationship like running water. And I hope you can find a good partner and fit the criteria of you and your parents of course.”

“No. You are the best man I know. Until whenever I choose you. I love you so much, Ken.”

“Are you sure of what you said, Chel? You dare to take the risk of having come into contact with me?” ask Ken to make sure.

“I'm very sure. And I dare to take the risk.” Michele answered with confidence.
