Chapter 26 ~ Don't Love Me

“There is no other evidence that Om Barrack was murdered, Ma? Like cctv recording or others?” michele asked curiously.

“Mama don't know yet. Right now Papa you are helping to solve this problem.” replied Silvia.

“You make spaghetti?” michele asked after seeing a plate of Spaghetti still intact.

“Ya already, just make me. You eat this one.” Michele gave Ken the food he had bought. While spaghetti made by Ken he ate.

Without saying much Ken immediately ate the food, as well as Michele. Both of them eat in silence.

After dinner, Ken took care of the rest of the food. But it was quickly prevented by Michele, and taken over by the woman. Ken just left it.

Now Ken is sitting on the couch in the living room with Michele. Ken had been looking indifferent to Michele, but he was thinking about Adel who was waiting for him.

“Do you not go home directly?” ask Ken.

“You kicked me out, Ken? Why did you suddenly change? Have I done you wrong? Say, Ken!” michele said with teary eyes.

“Not. It's not like that, Chel. I just have an appointment with my friend. It's also late. You just got home from the office. You have to take a break.” Ken felt bad.

“You changed, Ken. Since yesterday you've been ignoring me? Did you deliberately intend to stay away from me, then leave me?” michele said with an unstoppable cry.

Ken seemed confused and felt guilty for making Michele cry.

“Don't cry, Chel! Didn't I warn you before, don't expect anything from me. I don't want to make you regret and hate me.” Ken said as he tried to calm Michele down.

“No. I will never regret being close to you. I will not be disappointed or hate you. Is it all because of our status? I don't give a shit. You want rich people, poor people, your job OB, or even you're a killer even if I don't care. All because I love you, Ken.” Michele said.

Ken is shocked to hear Michele confess that she loves him. He looked into the woman's eyes, and there was indeed no lie there. It's just that Ken doesn't still not believe that confession.

“You don't love me, Chel. Don't you already have a lover who is very considerate and loves you?” ken asked and managed to make Michele speechless from his stuffing.
