Chapter 27 ~ Fear

“You don't love me, Chel. Don't you already have a lover who is very considerate and loves you?” ken asked and managed to make Michele speechless from his stuffing.

“I've told you not that I don't have a boyfriend. Wait a minute, do you think that Kak Kavi is my lover?” michele said after noticing Ken's change in attitude at the party yesterday. He was very sure that the cause was Kavi. That's a sign Ken's jealous. I don't know why Michele was so happy.

“Kak Kavi is like my brother, Ken. Kavi's father is Papa's best friend. Um, are you jealous?” michele asked with a teasing smile.

Hearing Michele's explanation honestly makes Ken's heart relieved and happy. However, it is impossible to justify Michele's remark that she is jealous. Because until now Ken is also still in doubt with his heart.

“Do I get jealous? I have no right to be jealous. You can have a relationship with anyone, Chel.” Ken replied instantly fading Michele's smile.

Suddenly, Ken's phone rang. It must have been from Adel who had been waiting for him since then Ken asked Michele to come home immediately.

“Better you go home now. It's night. tomorrow we meet again at the office.” said Ken with a smile and gently rubbed Michele's head.

“Good. Just so you don't cuekin me anymore, huh?” michele replied in a spoiled voice.

“Iya, yes. Yes already be careful on the road.” Ken replied, leaving a brief kiss on Michele's forehead.

After Michele gets home, Ken immediately prepares to go see Adel. In the message Adel requested that Ken send the address where he lived, because the woman was about to pick him up. But Ken refused and said he was on his way.

Ken got out of his rented house. He walked to the highway in search of a taxi. Unbeknownst to Ken, Michele has not been home since. Michele decides to follow Ken.

Ken's taxi stopped at the apartment where Adel lived. The man rushed to Adel's apartment unit. Michele follows Ken until the man walks into one of the one-story apartment units with Jessie's unit.

Michele's getting curious about what Ken's doing in there. Who is in that unit.

Michele waited for a few minutes but the door of the apartment unit was not open yet.he finally decided to wait in Jessie's apartment unit.

While Ken in the apartment unit was in a room. In front of him was a large monitor screen that showed several people were there. Yes, currently Ken is meeting virtually with several executives of MGN Corp. As usual, Ken always wears a mask every time the meeting. All of that he did because his identity did not want to be known by many people, including the officials of his own company.

Adel was there too. He is Ken's operator and assistant. His arrival to the nagara was indeed to supervise and accompany Ken meeting with several company officials and some of his clients. In addition, Adel also reported on the company's development over the past few months.

The meeting lasted for about an hour. And tonight's meeting was Ken's last meeting. The rest, he would hand back the company's affairs to Adel.

After the meeting, Ken took off his mask. After that let Adel record the important things that he just discussed in the meeting earlier.

Now Ken is sitting in the living room sipping a soft canned drink. Shortly after, Adel came out with some documents to ask for Ken's signature.

“Alright, since the meeting tonight went smoothly and successfully, I decided to go home tomorrow.” Adel.

Ken saw that his watch had shown at ten o'clock in the evening, he immediately went home, but Adel asked to drive Ken to the apartment lobby.

On the way to the lobby, the atmosphere of the apartment looks very quiet. The two of them walked without saying a word.

“Ken, shouldn't you just use your car? it's late, rather than having to take a cab.” Tawar Adel's.

“I'm used to taking a taxi.” Ken replies and makes Adel just breathe his forgiveness slowly.

They continued walking until the lobby. Adel asked Ken to talk. Though he knows the risk will be ignored by Ken, what's wrong if he keeps trying.

“Ken, you better leave your job.focus with the company.” Adel said and still not got the authorization from Ken.

“You're looking for Angel's killer by becoming a hit man. What is the difference between you and the killer? how many lives have you lost but until now you have not found who killed Angel.” Adel said firmly, although he himself was very afraid of Ken's reaction after this.

“You have no right to rule my life, Del! If you are not at home working with me you can resign from now on. But don't expect you to be able to stay with Mom and Dad again, even if you're his biological son.” Ken said in a firm voice mixed with anger.

Adel really did not expect that his words had just managed to provoke Ken's emotions. But he was ready for the risk. But hearing Ken's threats that would distance him from his biological parents, Adel frightened.

“Sorry. I'm sorry. I promise I will no longer interfere in your affairs.” Adel.

“Better you return. I can go home by myself. Tomorrow I'll take you to the airport.” Said Ken with a humbling tone of his speech. However, he feels guilty for what he said to Adel just now.

Without them both knowing, it turns out that Michele has been following Ken and Adel. Even Michele heard Ken's words.

“Cannot.” Michele muttered with lips trembling in fear.
