Chapter 6 ~ Following Ken

After her father left her room, Michele resumed her work. He will prepare the documents for the meeting later in the afternoon. He will also learn it first. Although he will not meet alone, because there is an assistant Papa who will come and help him.

Meanwhile, Ken has now entered Michele's room to carry out his superior's duties, namely cleaning the bathroom.

Michele only glanced at Ken for a moment, after which letting the man do his job. I don't know why it feels like Michele is so excited to work today. Yeah, even though I was a little upset by her Papa. But he still felt very excited at work. Was it because of that OB smile. Michele shook her head.

Lunch time has arrived. After being asked by Michele for a break, Ken finally went to the cafeteria for lunch as well. On his first day of work there were no obstacles at all. “Hai, you new OB?” greet someone who was standing next to Ken in line for food.

After the two held a plate filled with food, Ken and Zian now sat down together to eat their lunch.

The two men had just met and met. They seem to be very familiar with each other. Especially Zian who is very comfortable talking with Ken. They even exchange mobile numbers if they need help.

Zian, whose job is to clean the ground floor, will be very difficult to meet Ken who is on the sixth floor. Zian knows Ken's job on the sixth floor, especially in the vice-president's room. It will be very heavy.

“Yes already, I went up to the sixth floor first, Zi. Our lunch hour is over too. See you later.” Ken Say.

“Good. You do not realize that our names are almost the same. Zian and Ian? This is very coincidental loh.” Said Zian walking along with Ken.

“Ah Yes. Is that a sign we are a match?” joked Ken and made the two laugh together.

After that they separated and headed for their respective places of duty. Actually, in the working hours of employees like this, the OB task is just relaxed. They will clean the room if the employees have gone home, but they also have to remain standby if asked by some employees.

Ken is now walking towards the pantry on the sixth floor. Because it was his fixed room while waiting for orders from superiors. While passing in front of the vice-president's room, Ken accidentally passed Michele who had just come out of his room. Ken looked down respectfully while smiling at Michele. Then he headed straight for the pantry.

“What's up, Miss?” ivan asked Xander's assistant, who stopped behind Michele.

The man of Ken's age stared in surprise at his boss who suddenly looked strange. In fact, he also saw with his own eyes that Michele had a smile on her own after passing the man in OB uniform earlier.

“Nona!” call Ivan again.

“Sorry!” ivan preferred to give up. Because it is common knowledge that the vice president is never wrong.

After returning home from work, Ken went straight home. As usual the man would cook himself for his dinner. He who has lived alone for a long time has never been wasteful by squandering money. If anyone asks why at the age of thirty-two Ken did not think of looking for a companion? And the answer is that Ken has absolutely no interest in a serious relationship before his life goals are realized. I don't know what kind of purpose it is to make him forget about himself.

After cleaning his body, Ken started cooking. Tonight he just wants to make spaghetti because it makes it very easy and fast. But he just turned on the stove, suddenly the sound of a cellphone ringing. Then he turned off the stove first before answering the phone.

Ken broke off his intention to cook. He took the jacket and went to the place where the person who had just called him was.

Ken walked for a while until he reached the highway. After that he stopped a taxi to drive to the address he mentioned to the taxi driver.

Unbeknownst to Ken, Michele sees the man in a taxi. It also happened that Michele was passing on the same road passed by Ken.

“Where the hell is he going? Or do I just follow?” ask Michele's heart.

Out of curiosity, Michele decides to follow where Ken's taxi goes.
