Chapter 22 ~ Gift

“What do you do in pantry, Chel?”

The heartbeat that Michele still felt after her hot kiss with Ken now turned worried and anxious when she found her Papa standing in front of her.

“Papa? That was I just asked Ian to make Michele a coffee, Pa. because Michele has not contacted him since then also got an answer.” Michele replied, trying to calm down.

Xander was still silent as to what the middle-aged man was thinking, while Michele herself was afraid that her father might be suspicious of her.

Suddenly the pantry door opened and a figure appeared that had been dancing in Michele's mind and heart. Michele and Xander's views now turn to the man who is carrying a tray. Michele is greatly relieved by the appearance of Ken bringing her coffee.

“Excuse me, Sir, Miss!” say Ken politely.

“O yes, Ian please just put my order coffee on the table.” Michele said. Ken just nodded, and then he walked into Michele's room.

“Ian, after this come to my room. I want to talk to you.” Xander stopped Ken's steps.

“Good, Mr.” Answer Ken. After that Xander reenters his room, leaving Michele behind.

Actually, Xander was also going into the pantry to find Ken. But instead he met his daughter who had just come out of there.

After her father's departure, Michele quickly entered her room where Ken was there. Somehow Michele was so scared that her father asked Ken to come to his room to ask what he was doing in the pantry.

“Ken, why did Papa ask you to come to his room?” michele asked worriedly.

“You don't say anything about our closeness. Just tell me we have nothing to do.” Michele.

“What is our relationship?” Ken even teases Michele, and makes the woman scowl.

“If Mr Xander knows everything and I get fired how?” ask Ken.

“I won't let that happen. Please, Ken never leave me.” Michele said with teary eyes.

Ken was shocked to hear Michele's request. I don't know how much she feels about him. He also could not bear to see the look of Michele's sadness like that. Then Ken rubbed Michele's tears that began to fall.

“Don't cry, Chel! Remember our very different positions. I don't want you to be hurt.” Ken Say.

“No. My request is only one, never leave me.” Michele suddenly hugged Ken's body tightly.

Ken also returned the hug somehow he also felt it would be difficult if later to leave Michele. But the truth is there is no way he will be with Michele forever. Michele would hate her if she knew who she was.

“Yes already, continue your work. I'm going to Mr. Xander's room first.” Ken then rattled Michele's hair.

Ken was so relieved that Xander only asked about Roy's arrest. He had thought that Xander would ask about Michele's whereabouts in the pantry. Because Ken had also seen Xander ask Michele after the woman came out of the pantry. He made coffee as if Michele had asked for it.

Michele's birthday party as well as the official announcement of her promotion tomorrow week will be held. Today Ken invites Michele to meet for a while, as he believes that Michele is very busy today with party preparations.

The two of them are currently in a park not far from Ken's residence. The atmosphere of the park is not too crowded. They both sit in a gazebo in the park, and Ken gives a small box that he has wrapped with pink gift paper.

“Happy birthday yes, Chel! May all your best wishes come true.” Ken said sincerely.

“Why are you giving it now? tomorrow you are not coming?” ask Michele.

“I keep coming. But there's no way I'm giving this gift in front of everyone. Especially your parents.” Ken replied with a faint smile looking at Michele.

“Good. Thank you very much, Ken. I will open it later after home.” Michele said.

After that they both decided to go home.
