Chapter 23 ~ Shadow Ken

“Not possible. Already, I want to go there first.” Michele tries to avoid her best friend's questions.

Michele has joined her siblings. The show has not started yet. Michele stares at Ken every now and then who looks different tonight. And accidentally their views meet each other. Ken looked at her too. The man smiled faintly at Michele. He was happy when there was a necklace around Michele's neck. The necklace was her birthday gift yesterday.

Michele smiles and returns the man's embrace.he is Kavi, the son of Om Sean. Their relationship is like a brother. Their age gap is also only two years adrift. Michele is younger than Kavi. (Eh really not? othor forgot Michele and Kavi😂🙈 age gap. maap klo salah🙏)

“Thank you, Brother. Sorry yesterday did not have time to come to Villa when Kak Kavi and the others came. I'm very busy.” Michele.

After that Kavi gave a gift to Michele. Michele accepted it with pleasure. Even so happy, Michele hugged Kavi again.

The event also began. All the invited guests were present and gathered to watch an MC who was about to open the event. Ken saw a middle-aged man who had just come in with a young man. While alone looking for Ken's whereabouts, Barrack suddenly comes with his son Aiden. Barrack congratulated Michele. And so did Aiden. The man always stared mischievously at Michele. But Michele didn't care about it at all.

“Sorry yes Chel, if Mama Aiden can not attend because she is not feeling well.” Barrack.

“Yes, Om is okay.” Michele replied calmly, although she was very sick of the man, who had long been a good friend of her father, but had bad intentions. Michele is currently acting normally because she has not found evidence of Barrack's crimes against her father. Soon Barrack and Aiden say goodbye to go home first on the grounds that they can not leave his wife for long.

It was already night time.all the invited guests one by one left the event. Michele hasn't found Ken either. He also sent a message, but Ken's phone is off.

Michele decided to go home alone by driving her car. Both of his parents also returned home with the driver. Michele feels bad when she no longer sees Ken. Somehow she was so scared that Ken suddenly left her.

Michele is currently on her way home, passing through a less crowded street. But suddenly he saw a shadow Ken was walking into the area of the elite housing complex. Michele tries to follow the man she thinks is Ken. And Michele was pretty sure it was Ken. But unfortunately when Michele's car enters the housing complex it no longer sees Ken.

“Where is he? I'm pretty sure he was Ken.” Michele Mumbled.
