Chapter 5 - Vezda & Alliance Aliviah #1
The night had come and all the members of the Aliviah expedition had arrived back on the 36th floor. The tent was set up and everything was at rest, except for Aleratha. Aleratha had already told Syllia to rest and it was now Aleratha who was watching over all the injured and poisoned adventurers including with Vezda who was the most severe victim of her condition.
Oh naw. I use too much healing magic. I didn't bring any recovery potions and it looks like I'm going to faint because of mana deficiency. Aleatha tried to hold her body back before collapsing to the edge of the tent where Vezda was being treated, but Aleratha's body was not strong and she fell unconscious to face Vezda.
I'm still alive. Vezda opened his eyes and slowly got up to a sitting position. His body was still very heavy and the pain was still very much felt in his body.
Eh? She fainted? Vezda was surprised to see a High Elf sleeping beside him. Vezda still does not know that the High Elf is Aleratha because Vezda only sees glimpses that she is a High Elf from her hair.

Vezda thought for a moment and went back to reading his notes that he had just finished writing and leaned against the tent pole. Laris just smiled looking at Vezda's changed sleeping position. Not saying anything, Laris immediately left the tent and continued his patrol.

“AAAHHH!” Aleratha suddenly shouted and immediately got up to a sitting position then looked to the right that Vezda had seen her with a surprised look.
“Are you okay?” Vezda asked very politely to Aleratha because she knew Aleratha was a High Elf.
“Wait a minute why can I sleep in your bed?” Aleratha asked Vezda.
“You passed out last night because of mana deficiency. So, I lift you to my bed and I sleep while leaning here.” Vezda said and sat down on his knees to look polite and after Vezda told him that, Alerata became embarrassed and her face flushed red.
“Thank you very much. I owe you so much, Vezda.” Aleratha said to Vezda after sighing.
“I should have said that to your team.” Vezda said while bowed.
“You don't need to be so formal like this, Vezda. I am indeed a High Elf, but I do not feel taller than other people or races.” Aleratha told Vezda not to be too formal to him.
“You're up?” Samir suddenly entered to look inside the tent.
“Iya. I've been so much better, Samir. Me and Vezda will head to Laris' place to give a report in a moment.” Aleratha answered Samir.
“Alright then.” Samir said and left without any expression.
Vezda was a little speechless at seeing Samir as a puppet, even though he knew Samir was human. Somehow Vezda felt no other expression and only felt a very deep desire.
“You can already stand?” Aleratha said and stood up while extending her hand to help Vezda.
“Ah, yes. I can already stand.” Vezda held Aleratha's hand and stood up.
“Let's meet Laris. He gave the order for you to report to him with me.” Aleratha took Vezda out of the tent and Vezda saw all the members of the Aliviah Expedition.
Vezda did not know that it was an Aliviah expedition because Vezda had actually just arrived in the city of Femi and did not study or know the alliances that were there. Actually the people who are in the Alliance Aliviah is quite famous among the public of Femi City, but because once again Vezda just arrived in Femi City it is something that Vezda does not know.
Vezda also noticed every adventurer who was there. Some of them are still injured and some are busy preparing food and weapons for morning activities and the journey to the surface. “Come, let's go in.” Aleratha invites Vezda to enter the sign of the greatest lies on the plateau higher than the others.

Vezda thought for a while in his mind that the three of them seemed to be the most elite adventurers in the Alliance considering their ability to fight on the 50th floor was not something ordinary adventurers at level 4 could do.
“Welcome back Aeratha. Is your sleep good?” Bromner asked Aleratha with a laugh and Laris just smiled looking at her.
“Whispering, Bromner. I'm exposed to mana deficiency.” Aleratha said to Bromner with an annoyed face.
Vezda felt that the three of them had indeed worked together for a very long time and also helped each other. The three of them looked very familiar in their jokes with one another. However, this is the first time Vezda saw the Folkr Race directly because in Araga City there was never a Folkr race that came there.
Folkr there are races like humans, but they have a short physique like humans who have a maximum height of 150-160 cm only. If in the race level, Folkr was weaker than Dwarves and Elves but stronger than humans. Humans themselves are classified as the weakest race, but that does not mean they cannot surpass other races.
“Sorry that I have inconvenienced your expedition. Introduce, I'm Vezda Fenias.” Vezda introduced himself to Laris, Bromner, and Alertaha officially.
“An act of saving Vice-Captain is something we all cannot pay you yet, Vezda.” Laris said to Vezda.
“Young man, you just saved the strongest witch we have. There's no way we can leave you there in such a terrible state. So, we owe you a lot.” Bromner explained to Vezda.
“At least you introduced yourself first, Bromner.” Aleratha said to Bromner for directly speaking without introducing herself.
“Come on, there's no way he doesn't know us. Everyone in Femi City knows exactly the three of us.Hahahaha.” Bromner said and laughed.
“Ah, I honestly just arrived in Femi City and I don't know who you are either, but I understand the three of you are at level 6. Then I don't know how long I fainted, but I remember very well when I entered the 52nd floor, I've been through a trip for 36 hours or 1 and a half days.” Vezda explained and the three of them were shocked.
“Then greetings, Vezda. I'll continue on with the previous thing. You fall asleep for 4 days and that is the time it takes to get to the 36th floor from the 50th floor and vice versa. “Nak, we are Alliance Aliviah.” Bromner said to Vezda.
At that time Vezda was surprised because he had been with the Alliance Aliviah where Archonnya was the main purpose of his trip to the City of Femi. Vezda was very pleased and sighed as he at least gained hope of meeting Archon Aliviah.
“Then can I meet Archon Aliviah? This would be a good thing because I don't have to tell you 2 times about myself.” Vezda pleaded with Laris.
“Since the beginning, I will indeed take you to Aliviah and at least you are given something worth having saved most of us.” Laris said to Vezda.

“Good. Then it's all done. We'll all leave after breakfast. So, clean up the whole equipment. Bromner, tell the others to have breakfast and finish all the fixtures. Aleratha, after finishing your place join Vezda.” Laris gave orders to Bromner and Aleratha.
“Ah, before that. I want to give you this book.” Vezda gave a book containing notes about the monsters they encountered on the 51st floor.
“What book is this?” Laris accepts the book and reads it with Aleratha and Bromner.
This book? The information he got from fighting various monsters from the 45th to 52nd floors included with the new monster species as well as information regarding Carlos and the likes. Laris was surprised to see all the information.
“That was information regarding every monster I met on the way to the 50th floor. I will only give you the book because I have recorded every detail of the new monster. I just wrote it earlier while accompanying Aleratha.” Vezda said that.

Bromner tells him that everything is for breakfast first, Laris finishes some items and prepares his weapons before breakfast, then Aleratha accompanies Vezda to prepare Vezda equipment. Vezda currently only has a few items and many items damaged in his fight against Carlos. “You shouldn't have to face that. I had to forcefully stop my heart in order to survive and fight for longer. I could have stood by to protect you from the beginning.” Vezda's explanation reminds Aleratha of Vezda's condition which was declared dead on the spot.
“So, you stopped your heart to inhibit the process of spreading toxins?” Aleratha was a little surprised because this was the first time she had seen a person who could stop her own heart even from all the races she had ever met.
“Iya and also to speed up the activation of my ‘Overkill’ ability.” Vezda says it and Aleratha realizes she hasn't asked why Vezda can use her magic and maybe it has something to do with Vezda's ability.
Overkills. I'm pretty sure he also said that when he was going to attack Carlos on the 50th floor. Aleratha was so curious what it was?
