SELECT DUNGEON'S STORY - Nephilim's Corruption

Chapter 28 - 24th Floor, Feeding Zone

The group's attacks using suicide bombings are increasingly brutal and the frontline led by Adrian is getting pushed back. The Persian owned by Adrian's team also deteriorated his condition. Suicide bomb attacks coupled with crop attacks are very difficult to neutralize.

“Almost just.” Stoner protects Adrian from an oncoming plant monster attack.

“Thank you, Stoner. But, our condition is not improving.” Adrian said and repelled many people who wanted to do a suicide bomb in one attack.

Then quickly 1 plant monster ate one of the people, but still bitten in the mouth and then smashed himself towards the front Adrian and also stoner.

“Yang is right. Adrian, Naria, retreat!!” Stoner gave instructions to Adrian and Naria.

The front line and the center line were further pushed back due to the explosions carried out by the people and plants.

“Sickness.” James tried to get up after being hit by the explosion.

“TIANA, MOVE!” Nyllia shouted to Tiana.

“!!!” Tiana Langung retreated and protected her face.

BOOOM!!!

The ensuing explosion forcefully slammed into Tiana and Lilina's bodies after the enemy group advanced as the frontlines rearranged their positions.

“Cih, they don't care about death as long as they can destroy us all.” James said to everyone while repelling the enemy group and avoiding the explosions that continuously hit him.

“They're Crazy!!” Lilina said and all those who tried to get up repelled the group before the center line was destroyed by the suicide bomb.

This situation is not good at all. We are attacked by a mysterious group using suicide bomb attacks and attacking plant monsters as if knowing the best strategy to break through our defenses by using people from the mysterious group. If we retreat, it's all done. But, our position now is very difficult to do anything, meaning only 1 way. The guy with the skull mask could be the answer. Racita ran while observing around and killed the plant monsters quickly.

Racita noticed every movement of the two people who did not enter the battle and must have realized they were both the masterminds of this incident in the Feeding Zone, which was not involved in the battle, but what was most puzzling was why someone wearing a skull mask was using such a strange gesture. Racita understands that it is the person who controls the plant monsters that are here and that person will be the target of Racita.

The one wearing the cloak and the mouth cover was the commander of the mysterious group and the one wearing the white robe and skull mask was Tamer who controlled the plant monsters. It should be like that. Racita came forward and threw a special explosive of hers to finish off the front line of the opponent and make a distance with his group.

“Adrian, take command! Gather all the members and hold for as long as possible their attacks. I'll face them both.” Racita said quickly to Adrian and again advanced through enemy defenses to go directly to the two who mastermind this incident.

“Racita, let me help you!” As usual, James volunteered to offer himself to be a supporter of Racita.

“Do well, James.” Joy saw James for a moment who let James be his helper.

“Ready!” James said with great joy.

Although James is seen doing so out of a liking for Racita, James is not playing around in stopping the group trying to stop them from breaking through forward. James uses the surrounding rock as a projectile to stop the group.

DUG!! DUG!! DUG!!

The person from the mysterious group began to fall down and lost concentration due to James's precise stone throw hitting their head. The throws were quite loud it also made some of them drop their weapons.

“Do not be afraid! It was just a projectile that was thrown and there must be a limit.” The man in the black cape gave ‘sangat’ to his troops.

“You know that this is a dungeon, right?” James asked this and Racita continued to break through all the enemies in front of him.

“I won't run out of rocks inside a dungeon, fool!” James said and Racita had arrived in front of the leader of the group and immediately slashed at the person's shoulder.

Behind Racita, everyone from the mysterious group had already fallen for enduring the pain from the stone thrown by James. Racita then immediately advanced to attack Tamer in a white robe with the skull mask.

“You should be food from Naea. Naea, kill him!” The man gave orders to the plant monster and the monster attacked Racita with tentacles from underground, but Racita could dodge easily.

Naea, the name of the meat-eating plant monster. It turned out that he could control it well even with a very large amount. Racita thought while still observing each attack of the plant monster.

“You are moving very well. Adventurers. Or perhaps more accurately, Mastercraft. Even so, Die.” The Tamer knows who Racita is.

Instantly the head of the plant monster emerged from the ground and was about to devour the Racita with. However, Racita has a secret tool.

“Flugel!” The renaissance emitted the aura of a bird wing from its back.

Flugel is a secret magic tool created by Racita. He made 3 pairs of wings on his white robe. That way Racita can fly in the air easily and her movements are controlled directly by her own body as if the three pairs of wings were part of her body. This magic tool must be kept secret because of its ability.

“What!?” Tamer who controlled the plant monster was surprised to see Racita flying high into the air. Likewise, the mysterious group was also surprised to see Racita can fly like a bird.

“You all forced me to use this. Therefore, I will kill you both well and correctly.” Racita said and threw every special explosive of hers to blow up all the newly appearing plant monsters and also distract Tamer who she was fighting.

“Sial!!” James was down before the bombardment of Racita began.

BOOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM!!!

Racita does Carpet bombing and exhausts all the existing plant monsters and the Tamer protects the head calmly from the explosive shock waves generated by Racita. Of course it was the distraction that Racita used to attack that person from behind.

“Slow!” Racita screamed right in front of the Tamer and was ready to plunge her sword.

“You are slow!” The tamer immediately held Racita's sword which had stopped right in her body.

“How–GAH!!!” Racita is surprised because the person is very quick to use his reflexes and quickly slams Racita.

So strong! I can't fight it from close range. I need to make some distance first. Racita tried to get up and make a distance with the Tamer because the sword she was holding fell.

“Where is he?!” Racita was surprised to see that Tamer had disappeared from her sight.

“It looks like you forgot something.” The tamer appeared behind Racita.

JLJEEEB!!!!

“AAAAARRRGGHHH!” Racita cried out with all her might to ease the pain from the stab of her own sword.

“RACITA!!” Adrian screams from the front row where they are being held by the mysterious group.

“I really understand how strong an adventurer is. Surely you will definitely heal easily if only stabbed like this.” The Tamer pierced Racita from Racita's middle back and penetrated Racita's heart.

“But–” Tamer said and pulled a little sword then twisted it and raised it up again towards between the lungs.

“AAAARRRGHHHH!!!” The great pain felt by Racita.

“In this way, you won't heal right away, but it's certainly far from enough to kill you.” The Tamer said to Racita.

“DO NOT TOUCH RACITA WITH YOUR DIRTY HANDS, BASTARD!!” James attacked the Tamer using stones he had collected while sheltering from the explosion.

“Cih.” The stones that James threw about the mask from Tamer so that Tamer was distracted and dropped Racita.

“RACITA!!! USE THIS!!” James took out a high-grade herb that modified its ingredients to be more effective.

That potion, the potion I gave him earlier. Racias while enduring the pain on the ground and looking not so clearly at James.

“Naea.” The tamer gave orders to her plant monster.

The tentacles of the plant penetrated James' body with ease. All the colleagues in his group were shocked including Racita. The plant could penetrate through the bodies of level 4 adventurers easily. Then the tentacle slammed James and left James with a body in the middle that was hollow because of the attack.

“Ja-mes! James!” Racita crawled slowly over to James while enduring the pain.

I can hear you. James tried to get up and hold the potion to give to Racita.

I don't care about adventure or dungeon exploration. I just want to be around you. James crawled to get a little closer to Racita so she could throw the potion right at Racita.

“James, use that herb– on you. Don't mind me!” Racita said with a slight shout to James.

“Which way maybe I did that. This potion will only save one of kit–” James began to lose consciousness.

I cannot lose consciousness here!!! James immediately returned.

“JAMES!” The joy screamed, but James could not hear it. His entire focus was only to deliver the potion to Racita.

It is an honor for a dead man to save the woman he loves. I didn't have time to express my true feelings to Racita, but at least the last thing I could do was to give this potion to her. James used all the last energy he had to throw the potion at Racita.

“Death!” The Tamer stood behind James then with her feet she stepped on the crushed head of James right after James threw the recovery potion at Racita.

“NO!!! JAMESSS!!!!” Racita's shout sounded very clear and right then and there she felt a lot of regret.

“Ja-James.” Lilina was stunned and unable to move.

“LILINA!” Adrian protects Lilina from the one who will attack Lilina.

“!!” Lilina quickly protects herself and an explosion occurs after the person is thrown from Adrian's attack.

“Stupid basis! Don't lose focus!” Adrian said and again repulsed those who would attack them.

“But, James–”

“We will also be killed if we do not focus here.” Adrian said and continued to repel the enemy along with Naria and Stoner.

“Take it easy. Next it's your turn and I'll kill you quickly.” The Tamer said as she approached Racita.

“Racita will be killed!!” Nyllia shouted and all the members of the group tried to break through the mysterious group's defenses even though suicide bomb blasts continued to bombard them.

“ARRHHH!! DAMN IT!” Stoner threw out his power to distance himself from the mysterious group, but the plant monsters were ready to attack them.

“Please get here, Samir.” Lilina tries to help to destroy the tentacles of the plant monsters.

“You've left a trail?” Naira asked Lilina.

“Already. I've left a trail for Samir. Samir will be here any minute!” Lilina said to her group.

“War Dancer won't come here.” The tamer said loudly so that all who were there heard.

“...” Racita tried to heal herself little by little, but,

“Friends, couple, best friend, Archon. No 1 can save you.” The Tamer crushed Racita's wings by stepping on Racita's back.

“ARRRGH!!” The joy still endured the pain.

“After everyone you rely on dies, you will be conscious and regretful for the rest of your life for believing in and coexisting with Archon. Then you'll die.” The Tamer said and her feet were already on Racita's head.

The tightly shut entrance of the plant monster was destroyed with a very powerful explosion that was heard throughout the Feeding Zone room. Everyone could see the explosion clearly.

“What?!” The Tamer was startled and turned her gaze to the explosion.

“No matter how many weak monsters you send. That won't hold us back!” The voice sounded clear and Lilina instantly knew who it was.

“Dia–” Lilina Knows exactly who that male voice is and all of Racita's group know exactly who he is.

“Ghost of Aliviah.” Stoner said slowly and everything there stopped for a moment.

“Who are you? Then what happened here?” Ragnulf asked as he looked at Racita's group and the mysterious group along with the numerous plant monsters preparing to destroy the two groups.

“I seem to know the group with the hood and the white robe. If my guess is correct, then they are Fractional Demons.” Vezda said to Ragnulf.

“Then it looks like the Cathur.” Alliance Syllia said upon seeing there were some people she remembered.

But, there was no brother Samir among them. Most likely Samir's brother is separated. Syllia looked at the faces of everyone who was there 1 by 1.

“Vezda, Syllia, I'll take a minute. Get rid of all those fucking plants.” Ragnulf said and all the plant monsters began to attack Ragnulf, Celaena, Vezda, and Syllia.

“Syllia we rapal together magic Thousand Lights.” Vezda gave orders to Syllia and took the crystals that came from the plant monsters.

“Good.” Syllia said then Ragnulf and Celaena fought all the plant monsters that came to them.

While fighting against the plants that attacked them, one of the mysterious group was able to approach them and directly jump towards Ragnulf to blow himself up.

“Awas she was going–” Lilina yelled to Ragnulf and Ragnulf instantly kicked the person very quickly then exploded in the distance.

“Great. If he can kick the enemy that fast it means–” Nyllia has not had time to finish his words.

“Everyone, down!! They both have very big magic.” Sheryl yells at everyone before Nyllia finishes her sentence and everyone gets down.

“Lights in the sky, send your judgment on earth. Moonlight in the forest, show us your wisdom. Fall into earth, bless the good and burn every savages. Nothing shall stand against the weak. Only your lights guide them.” Vezda and Syllia cast the same magic.

“THOUSAND LIGHTS!!” Syllia raised her magic wand.

“LIGHT’EM UP! THOUSAND LIGHTS!!!” Vezda raised his right fist and the crystal he held shattered reinforcing the magic that Vezda used.

The aura of the two dragons looked very clear and directly rained down on all parts of the Feeding Zone and destroyed all the plant monsters present. The strength of the two of them was enough to wipe out all the plant monsters that were there.

“Hah hah hah.” Syllia was trying to regulate her breathing because it was an extremely powerful magic.

“Good work Syllia.” Vezda said as if nothing had happened and gave Syllia a recovery potion.

“Thank you, Brother Vezda.” Syllia drank the potion.

“OOI!! Syllia, Vezda!!!” Lilina shouted and walked over to the four of them.

“Oi, dammit! Where's Samir?” Ragnulf immediately pulled Lilina's shirt and asked roughly.

“Samir was with us, but he was separated.” Answer Lilina.

“Set Up?” Ragnulf asked Lilina.

“Iya. Besides, please save Racita. The masked man must have all the answers to our questions.” Lilina pointed at Tamer who was about to kill Racita and Ragnulf saw the Tamer right in her eyes.

“...” Ragnulf saw the Tamer was very upsetting.

“After everything is over I will explain everything. Please save Racita.” Lilina pleaded with Ragnulf.

“Ragnulf?” Vezda asked Ragnulf.

“Cih. It's troublesome, but I'll do it.” Answer Ragnulf.

“Do it well.” Vezda gave perinah to Ragnulf.

“Our mission here is to look for Samir, but I don't like that guy's gaze.” Ragnulf said and headed straight for the Tamer.

“Syllia, Celaena, help Ragnulf. There's an adventurous corpse I'm sure it's a member of Lilina's group. Take the body back and be careful. I'll help on the front lines against these hooded men.” Vezda gave orders to Syllia and Celaena.

“Good!” Syllia and Celaena answered and they both headed straight for Ragnulf's place.

It's not an ideal situation, but I have to do this. Some of the adventurers from Lilina's group were already in a bad state. The plant attacks have stopped temporarily. The central crystal of the Feeding Zone is monopolized by parasitic monsters. I can see what's going on in the Feeding Zone. Vezda looked around carefully.

“Vezda, I'm sorry. Do you have any herbs for recovery?” Lilina asked as her group had also started to run out of potions.

“I brought enough recovery potions for all of you.” Vezda said and immediately ran towards the back line where Mira and Sheryl were.

“Lilina, Nyllia was seriously injured due to the explosion just now and our high level potion was depleted.” Mira explained as she held onto Nyllia's wound.

“Vezda, please.” Lilina said and Vezda immediately put her special bag containing many potions and injectors.

Vezda thought nothing of it anymore and directly injected his injector into the already dying Nyllia. The injector instantly recovered Nyllia quickly and Vezda used the usual concoction to heal the remaining wounds on Nyllia's body.

“They used explosives on their bodies and attacked us with a suicide bomb attack.” Lilina.

“Then there is no hope of catching them. Some of their corpses were also devoured by the plant monster was not it?” Ask Vezda to Lilina.

“Iya right.” Lilina answered Vezda.

“Lilina?” Nyllia asked Lilina for taking orders from adventurers who were not from the Cathur Alliance.

“We do what Vezda says.” Lilina gives approval.’

“Front line and center line go into your position and protect the back line! You guys who have magic and the elves move to the back line and start chanting attack magic!” Vezda said, then Lilina and Nyllia went straight to their respective positions according to Vezda's orders.

“Adrian, follow his words!” Lilina instructs Adrian to follow Vezda's instructions.

“Front line, use all your shields to withstand the explosion!” Vezda gave the order and all the front lines using the shield raised their shields.

BOOOM!!!!

Vezda quickly advanced to the front lines and threw many of his special explosives. Vezda throws his explosives in front of the front line and slashes him with his machete. The explosion instantly killed the mysterious group that was at the forefront. Plus Vezda can manage where the explosion will occur so that the front line does not receive much of a blow from the explosion.

“Cannot.” Naria was surprised that someone else could make explosives like a Racita.

“You all focus on the oncoming plant monster attack. I'll deal with those fucking people.” Vezda gave directions to the front line.

“Good.” Adrian and Vezda answered straight ahead

“Then. We begin. Overkill.” Vezda said and their battle began.
