Chapter 13 - Vezda & Aliviah vs Plant Monsters

Who'sis that? Vezda saw a female figure wearing a robe that covered her entire body as well as her head. Because of the shadow as well, Vezda could not see his face clearly.

Vezda stopped and noticed for a moment the female figure. The woman just kept silent to see the events and the monsters that roamed. In some places, the members of the Aliviah Alliance had already started to move, but the monsters were still not stopped and the female figure seemed to only be glued to another Archon who was being chased by monsters. Vezda immediately confronted the woman.

“I only gave you 5 seconds to answer. Who are you and are you doing all this?” Vezda immediately asked after landing right behind the woman and pointed her machete at the woman.

“Kukuku. Indeed I took off the monster, but it's good that you don't do anything to me.” The woman's voice seemed to have no feelings of guilt and Vezda felt an extremely powerful aura, Archon.

“Archon.” Vezda finds out that the Archon is protecting, so Vezda prepares to attack the Archon to lure out some of its members in order to expose them to the public.

“Betul I am–.” Archon had not yet finished his sentence, Vezda's machete was near his neck.

A TRAKKK!!!

An extremely fast spear landed right next to the Archon and stopped Vezda's attack as Vezda had expected. Then quickly there were 5 high-level adventurers circling the Vezda as well as the Archon.

“You dare to attack our Archon, then you will receive his punishment.” A man who was a Cat Man said and appeared in front of the Archon while holding a spear that turned out to be his.

“Actually I was also curious what the second curse I would get after killing Archon for the second time. Plus your Archon has done something like this, it's appropriate that he receives a punishment.” Vezda is without fear.

“Then forgive me. I'm sure Aliviah will explain everything to you. If you still have doubts, come with Aliviah later tonight to listen to my explanation.” The archon said to Vezda.

“It turns out you guys are the strongest alliance in Femi City. Na’ava's. I hope you have a reason for your actions. If in this incident there are only 1 person who died, I myself will deal with you.” Vezda said in a pretty angry voice.

“Take it easy because all your friends have come down to help the citizens together with Daimon Alliance and the Union. You don't have to worry.” Na’ava said that, but it seems like the cat man does not want to let go of Vezda just like that.

Vezda lowered his machete, but all members of the Na’ava elite were still on alert if such Vezda would attack their Archon again. Vezda adjusted his breathing to give a calmer aura.

“I'd like to hear your explanation later, Archon Na’ava. So, I hope you can be cooperative.” Vezda said calmly.

There is no Vajra among them. Vajra should be an elite member too. Vezda looked around while analyzing every elite member of Na’ava that was around him.

“Of course I'll be cooperative. I also want to continue my conversation with Aliviah later.” Obviously Na’ava and Vezda put their guns on their backs and were about to leave.

“You think, where are you going?” The Cat Man attempted to attack Vezda, but Na’ava tried to hold him back.

“Glace, lower your spear. There must be no fight between us and the Alliance. It's an order from Me.” Na’ava gave orders to the cat man and he obeyed him by lowering his spear.

“I will still give a report to Archon Daimon. But, I won't mention your name. Provided I can get an explanation about one of your members who is not here.” Vezda said to Na’ava.

“Alright then.” Na’ava said then Vezda bowed his head in honor of Archon Na’ava and immediately left to help the other alliance members.

Vezda immediately went from the place and looked at all the places around there to count all the loose monsters. There were 15 monsters in total and all of them were ordinary monsters captured by the Daimon Alliance then there were no new types of monsters or abnormal monsters. Vezda had memorized every place of the fight and observed already 14 monsters killed by Celia, Calia, and Samir.

BOOM UP!

There was an explosion, but more precisely the sound of monsters destroying buildings around the east of the main stadium. Vezda had previously seen that Celia was heading towards that area. So, Vezda headed straight for that place quickly. While going there he saw Aliviah and Samir who were also heading to the source of the sound. Vezda was surprised because the monsters that appeared were plant monsters.

A plant? Wh why? The number of cages that were broken was 15 and only 1 was left, but it was impossible that the Daimon Alliance already knew of this. Vezda thought for a moment and saw the little boy about to be attacked.

Samir immediately turned the attention of 1 of the 3 heads of the plant so as not to chase the little boy and Aliviah ran to chase after the child. Vezda immediately follows Aliviah to protect her.

“Celia, Calia, Syllia, Samir! You guys focus here! I'll protect Aliviah!” Vezda shouted and they all went straight into a fighting position and Vezda immediately ran towards Aliviah and the little boy.

“Dance of Scorching Flame - Scorching Dragon Dance.” Vezda uses the technique to attack many enemies simultaneously, although 4 plants appear to destroy Aliviah, Vezda's attack is very strong and all the plants there are directly turned into ash in one attack.

“Vezda, on time.” Aliviah said to Vezda after they were safe from the attack of the plant monsters.

“Aliviah, there's something you have to tell me later. It's still too hard to talk. We have to get that kid out of here first.” Vezda gave orders to Aliviah.

“Good.” Aliviah agreed to what Vezda said and the three of them walked together to get out of the narrow part of the place.

Vezda looks after Aliviah and the child he saved back to where Samir, Celia, Calia, and Syllia are. There Vezda saw a lot of ice shards and had guessed that Syllia used Aleratha's ice magic because she was the only witch on the spot.

“Good work friends!” Vezda called out to the four of them and saw Syllia injured.

“You're okay too?” Samir asked Vezda and Aliviah.

“We're okay. Celia, please accompany this child and find her parents.” Aliviah asks Celia to accompany the rescued child.

“Calia, please bring Syillia to do treatment.” Vezda asked Calia for help.

“Good!” They both did the work they were given.

“There is still 1 monster again, but I don't know where it is.” Vezda said to Samir.

“From which civilians say, the last monster was in Grotto.” One of the guards from the Union said to Vezda, Samir, and Aliviah.

“Why should a place complicate it.” Alison began to complain.

“Then Samir and Aliviah can head to the Grotto to search for the last monster. You guys from United, directly back to help Daimon Alliance to make all situations conducive.” Vezda gave direction to the superintendent of Union, Samir, and also Aliviah.

“I will report to Archon Daimon if everything is done and a little clarification so that there are no misunderstandings.” Vezda replied to Aliviah.

“Alright then. We all leave.” Samir said to everyone and everyone rushed to their destination.

Vezda quickly reported what had happened to Archon Daimon, but did not tell him who was behind the release of the monster. Currently the involvement of Archon Na’ava Vezda secret until the time met with Na’ava itself along with Aliviah to get a better explanation and so Vezda understand what is the main goal of a Na’ava.

Vezda along with Aliviah arrived at a building which was the most expensive restaurant in Femi City. Vezda certainly told me everything that had happened and about the reason why there were monsters that were released during the festival last afternoon. Currently the goal of the two of them is Archon Na’ava. Actually Aliviah also knew that this would happen, but knew it was caused by Na’ava, Aliviah was eager to find out why she had done so far and nearly killed many civilians on the spot.

“I didn't expect that you would come along with your sweet child.” Na’ava said as if he was full of deceit, and also a great lust.

“Surely because he reported everything to me. You were very lucky to carry my name back then, otherwise you might have been sent to heaven by Vezda.” Aliviah.

“Ho, I am also quite sure surely this child can know the charm I use can only be done by Archon.” Archon Na’ava said it as if he had no feelings of guilt.

“One stop. Therefore I also call you because of some things about it and the reason you did it.” Aliviah said to Na’ava with her evil smile.

“Understanding.” Vezda said that and Aliviah could feel that Vezda was much calmer now.

“See, you don't have to be afraid anymore with Vezda and be grateful Vezda can observe the whole incident well and you won't be blamed for the mysterious monster appearing on the surface.” Aliviah also again said to Na’ava, but Na’ava looks like a very innocent woman.

“Archon Na’ava, I want to ask. Why is it that when I attacked you, all the elite members were there besides Vajra?” Vezda asked Na’ava and it surprised Aliviah a bit.

One of his elite members did not control Na’ava was it really him who released the plant monster? Aliviah immediately thought of that.

“What is the evidence that you know Vajra's real identity?” Na’ava asked Vezda with his face greatly amazed.

“Dance of Roaring Thunder - Extreme Flash Step. It was a technique that Vajra– Yui used yesterday when saving a small child. As far as I know, it was a technique that only 1 person mastered, namely Shirokame Yui.” Vezda clear to Na’ava.

Vezda is no ordinary adventurer. He has connections and also he has a power that maybe only the citizens in the East use a lot. Plus his very sharp mindset and instincts make Vezda almost on par with Laris. It was then that Aliviah knew the potential, power, and talent that a Vezda possessed.

“One stop. It was Shirokame Yui. No one knew who Shirokame Yui was until now and he did say that he had a younger brother, though, but for a very long time he has not met his sister or maybe will never meet his sister again.” Na’ava.

“Then say my regards to Yui. Thank you very much and sorry for interrupting your time, Archon Na’ava.” Vezda asked Na’va and Na’ava just smiled.

“Back to main topic. Then why would that plant monster be there?” Aliviah asked and went back seriously.

“I don't know. Even I don't know what monster you're talking about and explain to me.” Na’ava really did not know about the mysterious plant monster.

That night there was no answer obtained by Aliviah and Aliviah also understood finally that Na’ava had nothing to do with the mysterious plant monster.
