Chapter 4 - Monster Man, Carlos

Laris, Samir, Celia & Calia, Syllia, Ragnulf, Bromner, and Aleratha are shocked to see the figure of a Carlos who is one of the victims of dungeon atrocities on the 28th floor. Something happened on the floor and almost all the adventurers who were on the floor died without remaining. However, Carlos somehow survived and had a new body and abilities like a monster.

“Laris, he's dead.” Alertaha held the pulse of the adventurer who was thrown towards him.

Laris for a moment saw that the body of the adventurer was full of wounds and his veins were still visible even though he was dead. His left arm was cut off and used a weapon that could be said to be quite strange. However, the veins that are clearly visible are a sign of something that Laris and his group must understand.

“Poisons. Everyone, nobody get hit!" Laris gave orders to each of his comrades on the front lines.

From a distance Carlos approached them slowly and summoned plants to make his new weapon. The plant is compacted and becomes 2 for a small sickle-shaped weapon, but it looks very clear the poison dripping from the two sickles.

"You shouldn't have said anything, Laris. You ruined the surprise." Carlos walked leisurely and saw the adventurer in front of him speechless looking at the figure of him who was starting to mutate and his skin changed to look like the plant.

The entire front row of the Alliance Aliviah was ready and directly attacked Carlos. Each of them was balanced in the fight against Carlos. However, to Celia and Calia was not a good sign as the poison Carlos was currently using could also be shaped like water floating in the air and could injure anyone he attacked.

"Samir, align your attack with me!" Ragnulf and Samir were ahead of Carlis when Carlos used his area ability.

Samir or his official nickname 'War Dancer' is the best sword user in Femi City and his sword skills are so great that they look beautiful like a dance. The figure that was believed to be dead, returned in front of Aleratha and protected her by holding a scythe that would touch Aleratha with her machete and her machete that one was bitten by the adventurer. One strike resulted in an explosion and damaged a small amount of Carlos' body which was thrown due to the explosion. All the front lines of the Alliance were shocked to see Vezda breaking up and fighting Carlos.

"Fucking vezda. How can you–" Carlos said and immediately stopped his words as if he remembered something.

The vezda? Yes, he is a unique member of the alliance. He can manage well his whole body to every organ he has. He stopped his heart to slow the spread of the poison. Carlos was silent for a moment while remembering every time he used to be with Vezda. When he saw Vezda spinning both of his machete connected to the chain, Carlos was stunned. Only you can use 2 weapons with 1 hand, but whatever you do you will die.

"Carlos! You said I was your best friend, if you were my best friend you knew what would happen next." Vezda said as he rewound the two machetes.

"..." - ".Carlos was trying to remember something.

Right. A special ability he once told me. Overkills. Carlos finally remembered Vezda's unique ability and that's what makes him still standing today.

"Overkill is ready. WE'LL WIN!" Vezda's shout was a powerful shout and after shouting, Vezda immediately advanced very quickly even faster than Carlos who was about to attack Aleratha.

Vezda continued to attack Carlos until Carlos had to be cornered. Before Vezda could slash Carlos' neck, Carlos immediately jumped far back and stood on a tall stone pillar like an insect that saw its prey turn against them.

“Don't joke! Your arm is 1 and the poison is all over your body. You should be dead!” Carlos said and immediately jumped towards Vezda with his scythe strike.

Right, but I won't lose against you. Vezda immediately attacked Carlos with the help of explosives and the attack again produced a very large explosion.

“The adventurer can withstand the poison to the degree where he should have died, but he can still fight.” Aleratha said and every one of them saw a very spectacular fight in their eyes.

Damnit. The chain connecting the two machetes had Vezda destroyed and Vezda still continued to fanged with only 1 machete. Vezda had to stay focused on gathering his mana while fighting.

“The resonance of scorching flame. Burn every enemy's. Ash and dust will be thy reward.” Vezda continued to cast the magic.

The attack gave distance between Vezda and Carlos. Then from the back directly seen Celia and Calia hit Carlos repeatedly, followed by punches and kicks from Ragnulf.

“SAMIR!” Ragnulf strikes Carlos into the air and langusng hits Carlos back on the ground and Samir is ready with his wind magic along with Bromner.

“Small insects.” Bromner turned Carlos body into the air after hitting the ground.

“Zephyr! Aster!” Samir uses his sword to push Carlos up to the wall next to the entrance to the 51st floor.

Damn, their strength is terrifying and Vezda destroyed my defense first. Carlos just hit the wall and blood came out of his mouth.

JLEEEB!!!

Laris planted both his spears from a long distance and left Carlos unable to move at all. Before Aleratha could cast a spell, suddenly under Vezda appeared a fire-red magic circle and it was a magic circle just like Aleratha.

“My name is Aleratha!” Vezda raced the last part so loudly that it was heard by all the front lines of the Alliance and in Vezda's hands it looks exactly the same magic circle as Aleratha's magic circle.

That's my magic. How could he use it so quickly? Even Syllia needed 7 minutes to gather mana in order to use that magic. Aleratha was surprised to see Vezda who could emit an extremely powerful magic aura in the absence of a magic channeling medium.

From the fight earlier, he turned out to be chanting and focusing mana. So, that's the real Overkill ability? Fucking yvette. Carlos was unable to speak because his neck was slashed and his face showed a great despair when he saw Vezda's hand held high.

“Burning Blue Sky!” Vezda slashed down Carlos entire body and smashed his crystal in place right after the pillar of fire died down.

“When I am reborn, I will not lose.” Carlos said before his body turned to ashes and disappeared.

“I'll wait with pleasure.” Vezda said slowly.

Ah, looks like it's time. At least I could die. I don't have to deal with my curse. Vezda dropped his sword and knelt down then fell to the side. Before falling, Aleratha caught him quickly and placed him slowly to the ground.

Aleratha along with Syllia tried their best to use high-level healing magic to keep Vezda alive and eliminate all the toxins present. At this crucial moment, Samir saw Vezda's misty bag and its contents were some strangely shaped potions and injections with green and blue tubes. Samir has a feeling this will help Vezda and immediately bring the small bag to Aleratha who is healing Vezda.

Aleratha is a High Elf which means she is the highest Elf race and is also the strongest witch in Femi City as she is the only witch who can modify her own magic by combining, swapping, and swapping, or connect the spells and chants of the 8 magic that he has. This time Aleratha made her healing magic as powerful as possible to keep Vezda alive.

I never thought that with the right size, 2 separate herbs can be an elixir equivalent recovery if injected directly into the body and not drunk. Alretaha thought this was a new thing even though they had long had the tools Vezda used.

“Bromner, have you ever seen a weapon-making material like this?” Laris gives one of Vezda's machetes to see Bromner.
