Chapter 25 - 24th Floor Investigation #1

Samir along with his group had already made it to the road to the Feeding Zone. The area the group was targeting was*I*Nvestigation Feeding Zone which caused the change in the movement of monsters on the 24th floor.

“I'm sure this is the way to Feeding zone right?” Lilina said to the entire group.

“Yes, this is the right way.” Samir knows the road, but the problem is that the road leading to the Feeding Zone is blocked by a wall that should not be there.

Wait a minute, this wall is alive. Like a creeping plant. What is really going on in the Feeding Zone? Samir was holding the wall.

“If just staying here won't give any progress. Chaleed, Adrian, we divide 3 small groups to search around. Some will settle here, the rest gather information about what is happening around.” The joy gives instructions to all.

“Then I–” Samir said, but Blomer cut his word.

“You definitely know by the term adjusting the phase. Try to follow our phase. Don't be rash doing anything yourself just because you're the most powerful here.” Blomer said to Samir.

Actually up to this point Samir himself is still very worried about what will happen in the future and he actually wants to continue to protect this group, but maybe for them it is just an insult. Samir himself was forced to follow what Blomer had said.

“Hey, Blomer don't say that.” Blorie said to Blomer.

“Well, because the others will be dating while we're here. Maybe it's good we rest for a while.” Lilina gave Samir a suggestion.

“Iya. You have also helped us by taking care of the monsters that blocked our journey. For now you just rest first.” Blorie added the words Lilina and Samir just followed their words.

Some of the members of the Cathur Alliance began to split up to find information about the other entrance and some who lived on the main road where they rested also launched numerous attacks on the living wall. The part of the wall that has become like green meat can recover very quickly, while the one that does not become flesh will receive damage as usual and take a long time to recover.

“Well, now you don't have to worry Samir. They will be back in a minute.” Lilina acted to Samir while sitting together watching the other members try to attack the wall.

“It looks like this is indeed the main problem why there is something strange happening on the 24.” floor Racita suddenly said and Lilina along with Samir instantly noticed Racita speaking.

“Why, Racita?” Lilina asked.

“This is just my theory. If indeed all the way to this Feeding zone is closed, then–” Racita said.

“Monster migrates to another Feeding Zone.” Samir continued the words of Racita.

“Betul. So, for a few days this was not an abnormal situation for monsters, but rather a migration of monsters. The abnormal thing that happens is in this Feeding Zone.” Racita said to Samir.

Then all the members who split up finally regrouped and gave a report that it was true that all the entrance to the Feeding Zone had been covered by this natural wall.

“Although so, Racita. What really happened inside?” Lilina asked Racita.

“There are only 1 way to find out. We'll go into the center of Feeding Zone.” Racita gives orders to all of her members.

Then after that, Racita walked a little and saw that there was a shape of the wall that rotated like a closed entrance.

“This could be the beginning we get in. This vortex looks like an entrance, but there are no signs it can be opened by people like us.” Racita showed the wall to all members of her group.

“Maybe I can cut it.” Samir gives advice to Racita.

“No. I want to test that this living organism may be weak against certain magic.” Racita rejects Samir's suggestion even though she knows exactly that Samir can easily open the passage.

“Maybe Sheryl can try it, Racita.” Blomer gives Racita advice.

“Can. I also want to see if this organism is weak against fire or not.” The answer to Blomer.

“Sheryl, use your magic.” Racinta gave the order to Sheryl.

“Small magic?” Sheryl asked Racita.

“Iya. Big magic.” Reply Racita and Sheryl began to focus for a moment before chanting the spell.

"Sheryl gained the ability to develop magic. That's a very rare thing for Folkr like us." Blomer said to Samir who was standing next to him.

"I'm also pretty sure you know that Blorie and I are only level 2 standing on the front line." Blomer still said to Samir.

"Uhhh.." Samir was about to say something.

"It seems you're naive to talk to and connect with Folkr like us." Blomer said with a smile.

"..." - ".Samir is desperate to know what Blomer really thinks.

"If you want to connect and have a conversation, it's probably better with Sheryl than the two of us. Yeah, not as strong as your captain, but Sherly's much better than the two of us." Blomer said while playing his gun.

"You know Laris?" Samir asked Blomer.

"No Folkr doesn't know who Laris is. Even though I don't know how great he is, he remains a hero to the Folkr race even though we didn't ask for it." Answer Blomer.

"..."

"Just by looking at what he has achieved as a Folkr, indicates that we can also do what he does, but it seems we still do not do anything compared to him." Blomer said as he leaned his weapon on the shoulder.

"Then, do you hate Laris?" That question was a question that really did not need to be answered, but 1 question was very piercing Blomer's heart.

"It's none of your business." Blomer answered in a voice that only Samir could hear.

Sheryl finished using her magic and the wall burned and the holes were enough for all the members of the group. When inside, the atmosphere is much more like walking on meat than plants, although it is clear that what envelops the Feeding Zone is a plant.

After everything went in, suddenly the hole Sheryl made was again covered with the regeneration of the plant that sounded very clear.

"The way in." Chaleed said and everyone saw the hole closed.

"It looks like we can still get out. We just need to hole that wall again." The joy said to the other members of the group.

"May I say something scary?" Ask Lilina.

"What?" Ask James.

"This living plant is like monster meat. We're like walking in a monster's stomach." Lilina said with her sang as she stepped on the floor which was also covered in green flesh.

"Don't say that, Lilina." Mira said out of fear.

"Bad joke." Answer Nyllia.

"Haha. But that statement is a little true." Answer Blorie.

"Shut up! Don't make too much noise." Racita scolds her members.

After that, the entire group continued on a deeper journey. In each of their steps, they were very careful and thoughtful about their surroundings.

"Eh? A separate road?" Lilina was confused when she saw the road.

"Is it on the map?" She asked Lilina.

"No. It's not on the map at all." Javan Lilina's.

"Then, the map we have will be useless. Lilina, make a new map. You can make a map while walking, right?" Racita gives orders to Lilina.

"Not a problem." Lilina took a paper and a feather to draw a map while walking and Samir saw Lilina making the map.

"You're so great, Lilina. You can make a map in a place that makes the compass alone unusable.” Samir was really impressed with anyone who could make maps inside the dungeon because making maps required a lot of concentration, memory, and knowing the direction of the wind.

“Thank you, Samir. But remember, I'm just a scout, so it won't be too strong to fight on the front lines. Oh yes about the wind I always know where North.” Lilina.

“Not a compass can not be used inside a dungeon?” Samir asked Lilina.

“One stop. Lilina is the walking compass for us. Look!” James said and twisted Lilina's body in the direction she said and everything was right. Lilina paused and pointed in the direction that James was saying.

Both of their heads were easy targets for Racita's already quite angry fist.

“Two of you, stop messing around.” Racita said and both came back serious.

Actually the maps that exist in the Union are all the result of expeditions conducted by heroes and adventurers in the past. “Chaleed, James. Take a look at this!” Racita asks Chaleed and James to look at the fragments of skin like scars from monsters.

“This remains of a monster.” Chaleed said to Racita.

“Yes, it is true. But, isn't it strange that there are monster fragments where there are no adventurers at all?” James asked back to Chaleed and Racita.

This feeling. Samir sensed that there was a monster approaching.

“Everything, get ready to fight there are monsters near us!” Samir shouted and all of them prepared their weapons including Racita who was observing each part closely.

“There are monsters that attack other monsters. It looks like it.” Racita said while remaining alert with any movements.

“From above!” A moment after Samir shouted, Everyone looked up and the monsters waiting for them were plant monsters.

The monster attacked quickly and tried to devour the adventurers who were there very ferociously. This time the plant monster had many small tentacles that could be used to attack as well, fortunately all the members of the group could handle it.

“Monster what are they?” Stoner asked while holding off any attacks from the monster along with Adrian.

“Do not use magic! Blunt attacks did not work against them! Use the sword to cut them!” Samir explained briefly while trying to protect the others.

Racita quickly advanced to use an explosive that could only be made by herself. The goal is to find the weak point of the monster. Racita throws her explosives just before the monster attacks. As the monster opened its mouth, Racita threw the explosive into the monster's mouth. The explosion exposed the upper part of the monster's mouth and saw a crystal that was its weakness. Racita immediately threw her explosives again and destroyed the monster crystal which instantly turned the monster into ashes.

“Their crystals are located at the top of their mouths. Fight with 2 to 3 people per monster.” Racita gave orders to all of them and the number of 4 monsters that were captured were immediately surrounded by them.

The explosive used by Racita is different from the explosive used by Vezda. The explosive Racita used was a special concoction that could only be made by her and the way it was detonated was to throw the pedicab, and when it breaks the liquid inside it will react with the oxygen in the air and produce an explosion. In terms of destroyed power, Vezda's explosive charge may be only slightly weaker than Racita's, but Vezda's ability to help use the blast was more effective, and Vezda was particularly adept at using large explosives at very close ranges.

“You two stay behind me!” Naria gives orders to Blomer and Blorie after Blomer crashes due to an attack of one of the 1 plants they encounter.

Then suddenly there are tentacles that want to attack Sheryl and O’ Niel. Samir very quickly backed off and protected the two of them.

“You guys okay?” Samir asked them.

“Iya. We are fine.” Sheryl answered Samir.

In front of him, Blomer directly broke through the clothes ahead of Naria to fight the monster before her. It should have been impossible since every single plant monster was level 4 while Blomer was still level 2.

Why am I running? Blomer ran up to the monster.

Ah yes, because of his words, ‘do you hate Laris?’. Blomer was driven by Samir's question.

That day twilight shone on the front page of the Cathur and Blomer Alliance headquarters enjoying the beautiful sunset even with an uninspiring heart.

“It looks like our status does not have much development.” Blorie said to Blomer who was sitting down.

“I heard Sheryl also rose to level 2 and gained the ability to become a witch.” Blomer said to Blorie in a voice filled with anger, but remained calm,

Blorie perfectly understood the upset feelings of her twin brother because he was too, but Blorie was much calmer in being able to control her emotions better. Their abilities are no improvement, while Sheryl gains the ability to be a p[witch which is very rare for the Folkr Race, but Blorie also does not want to fall into a slump with it.

“Hey, Blomer. Do you know about the Hero for Folkr, Laris?” Blorie asked as she sat down nearby.

“Stop that! I don't want to talk about it.” Blomer tries to stop Blorie talking.

“I heard he was about 40 years old or more.” Blondie said and Blopmer was a little surprised.

“Seirus?” Blomer make sure to Blorie.

“I'm serious.”

“It turns out that he is more than 2 times my age. Looks like we still have a very long journey, yes.” Blomer said determinedly to pursue the Folkr Hero.

When Blomer jumps to attack the plant monster, the monster immediately attacks quickly with the intention to devour Blomer quickly, but Blomer does not give up.

What if there is a Laris? It doesn't change us for the stronger, but because he's constantly working hard and showing his strength…. Blomer held the grip of the plant's mouth and saw the crystal's position very clearly.

“I CAN'T STAY STILL!” Blomer shouted and pulled out a small sword that resembled Laris's small sword and directly stuck it into the monster crystal.

The monster died immediately and Blomer was thrown out of the monster's mouth. When the monster was killed by Blomer, the other plant monsters were quickly wiped out by the other members.

“Blomer! You all right? Are you hurt?” Blorie was very worried about her brother.

“They are both level 2 and voluntarily put themselves in the front row to fight enemies stronger than them so that they can continue to become stronger again.” Racita said to Samir.

“Don't you all come here. It just makes me not look cool.” Blomer says and gathers his strength again to get to a sitting position.

“That little sword.” Samir saw a sword similar to the one that Laris had.

“This is a replica given to Blomer when the level rise first. I made this sword exactly like Laris.” Blorie tells Samir about the replica of the sword Laris has.

“Can't it be annoying? No one asked him to stand up, but he ran and became a hero for Ras Folkr.”Blomer said while looking at his sword.

“Uh, do you want me to introduce Laris?” Samir asked and Blorie and Blomer's faces shone.

“I haven't done anything she deserves to see. But if I could meet him. I'll be happy to meet.” Blomer's timid reply invited the other members to hold back the laughter of seeing him.

“You shit! Come here let me hit you.” Blomer was angry and all the other members broke up with a laugh.
