Chapter 23 - Cathur Alliance & Investigation Mission

Samir finally reached the 18th floor and headed for the bar that was directed for him. Samir himself just found out that the place is a bar because the writing is not too visible there. When entering, Samir saw about 14 people who were sitting while enjoying food and drinks in the bar.

Someone here will be my group. Samir walked while looking around and saw Lilina from the Cathur Alliance.

“Ah, Samir. Tumben once you've been here? For a thank you, I'll buy you a drink.” Lilina said to Samir.

Second seat from the left. Samir had not answered Lilina and sat down on the chair that had been told.

“Eh that's right?” Lilina knows something.

“Can I help you?” The bartender asked Samir.

“I want boiled potatoes black pepper with salt.” Samir said that and understood that there was no menu on the list and it was code.

“HEEEEE?!!” Lilina was surprised as Samir said that and Samir saw Lilina's expression.

Wait a minute, which means everything in this bar will be my temporary group. Samir said and saw a figure that is quite famous, Racita Al Ferzana or famous as ‘Mastercraft’.

“Lilina, are you sure this is her reinforcements?” She asked Lilina.

“Iya I'm sure because the code is correctly mentioned.” Answer Lilina.

“So you guys also took the same mission?” Samir asked.

“Actually I was approached by a figure with black armor and gave me this mission, but because I was tired so I didn't want to take it.” Lilina hasn't finished telling me.

“But, because the figure threatened to tell your original level, you got scared and shaky and were forced to accept the request and drag us in this situation.” Racita continued the explanation that had previously been left behind.

“I'm sorry.” Lilina apologized to Racita.

“You should still be cool and we will not be leafy in this situation.” Racita went back to talking to Lilina.

Is this Cathur Alliance going to be alright? Samir had thought negatively about the Cathur Alliance.

“More, Introduce these are some of the members of the Cathur.” Alliance Racita introduces the Alliance members who will take part in this mission.

“Salam. I'm the one leading the line.” Adrian introduced himself.

“Heh? You're ‘War Dancer’? Looks like a woman of the night.” Blomer asked Samir.

Blorie, Folkr, Weapon: mace & shield.

“Blomer, don't be like that. That's not polite.” Blomer's twin, Blorie reprimands him.

“He, we are together with ‘War Dancer’? Still, Racita was always silent in my heart.” James said while praising Racita.

“I hope you don't die because of it.” Answer Lilina

“Wah, beautiful once.” Tiana said to Samir.

Mira, man, weapon: dual dagger, magic sword

“Include. I'm Mira, the back line leader. Sheryl, let's introduce yourself.” Mira invites a Folkr Girl who looks younger than Blorie and shyly introduces herself.

Sheryl, Folker, Weapons: Amplified Magic Staff

“H-Hai. Greetings know.” Sheryl said shyly.

Mac O'Neil, Man, Weapon: - (carrier)

“Everyone has introduced themselves. I will officially introduce myself. I am Racita Al Farzana. I am a Human being with the Alchemist profession. My weapon's a Dagger and some stuff that can help us on our way. I will lead this group and give command from the middle line.” Racita introduces herself to Samir.

“I'm Samir Onofledis. I'm a man of the swordsman profession. My weapon Rapier.” Samir introduced himself.

“I will put you in the center line as a help for the front and back lines. Don't you mind?” The queen asked Samir.

“I don't mind.” Answer Samir.

“Then we will be a group during the exploration towards the 24th floor. Please cooperate.” Racita and Samir shake hands.

“Oh yes, the last one. Please don't say anything about our secret.” Racita continued her words by whispering into Samir's ear.

I hope this group will be okay. Samir started to think bad things might befall this group.

After preparing for the formation, they all also prepared a lot of equipment to begin exploring. The goods and supplies they bought were pretty much mainly traps and oil used for burning. This was used because the route to the 24th floor was a great many woods and it was much easier to burn forest monsters than to face them head-on.

On the way, Samir saw that this group of the Cathur Alliance was very lively and they enjoyed every single thing on the way. Although Samir was initially hesitant because this group did not look serious at all, but instead their formation had nothing to change. They were also not overwhelmed at all in conducting reconnaissance and fighting monsters on a small scale.

“Burn everything.” Racita gives Chaleed a command before James finishes speaking.

“Good.” Chaleed himself instantly burned all the mushrooms in front of him and all of them were monsters disguised as plants.

“As usual. James will always lose the bet and will always be rejected by Racita.” Lilina mocked James.

“Basic dog damn.” James said with a sad look on his face, but that was precisely what made it an entertainment for everyone.

“Friends, get ready. There were monsters that came quickly. This time with the monsters flying from the hole above us.” Tiana said after hearing the sound of the monster presence from afar.

“All forms of formations. Do as usual for the front line. Tiana, James, Nyllia, Lilina prepared to lure the flying enemy into 1. Chaleed and Sheryl prepare to make ‘food’.” The joy provides direction for each section quickly.

“Are you judging us, Samir? We are all at level 4, only Blomer and Blorie are still at level 2.” Lilina said to Samir who saw everything.

It actually makes Samir relieved because actually Samir is very worried about them because it looks ordinary and makes too much noise in a place that is arguably very prone to Monster Party. Surely as a high-level adventurer, Samir had the responsibility of protecting adventurers who were of a lower level than him.

“By the way, Lilina and the Cathur Alliance have already reached what floor for the deepest record? Officially you've reached the 19th floor, haven't you?” Samir asked Lilina.

“We have actually reached the 40th floor actually.” Lilina replied casually.

“War Dancer, what do you think about this mission we received?” The queen asked Samir.

“What does it mean?” Samir did not understand so well with the purpose of the question Racita.

“Lilina has given details of the mission we received having to do with the attack in Underground City and also the strange fetus contained in a glass cube and this may have something to do with the attack. Are we actually already in the scope of a very dangerous mission?” Racita's question changed Samir's expression to be more serious.

“Iya.” Samir answered briefly.

“It looks like we've all interfered with a very troublesome affair.” Racita said that and Lilina seemed to feel guilty for accepting this mission.

After everyone had rested, the Racita Group continued their journey towards the 24th floor. They easily defeated many monsters on the way and got to where they were headed. Of course when Samir came down, all the attention of the monsters was on him. “Total monsters about 400. In that case, now I will do a endurance test.” Samir said and immediately shot up slaughtering all the monsters.

It wasn't until 15 minutes that all the monsters in the area were exhausted and there were only a lot of crystal stones left and some Item Drops from the monsters that had been killed. “What if this thing is left to him and we go home?” Blomer said to Racita.

“No. We have to finish this mission with him.” Answer Racita.

So this is the strength of a level 6, High-level Adventurer. Racita first saw the power of Samir with her own eyes.

“Leaving a lot of crystals like this won't produce anything good. Take all Crystals from monsters and stay alert.” Racita gave orders to all the members to retrieve and collect the crystals that fell from the monsters.

“One great. Samir, do you need a recovery potion?” Lilina asked as she approached Samir.

“No. I'm fine and I don't feel exhausted at all.” Samir said to Lilina.

“War Dancer, it was an amazing fight.” Joy praised Samir.

“Thank you very much.” Samir received the compliment.

“Then we will give you as many recovery potions as possible for you.” Racita said to Samir.

“Then I will accept it with pleasure.” Samir said to Racita.

As they chatted while keeping the group collecting crystals from the monsters, Lilina checked the map to find out the peculiarities of the monsters that looked like heading to 1 place simultaneously like migrating beasts.

“Racita. If we follow the map, this monster actually moves away from our destination.” Lilina approached Racita and Samir while showing a map of the 24th floor.

“Then our destination has a clearer reason. We will conduct a full investigation of what is going on in the Feeding Zone.” Racita said as she looked towards the sector that would be their destination.

“Will this just be an investigation and maybe just an abnormal occurrence?” Lilina asked Racita.

“It can't be that simple.” Answer Samir.

That Tamer must have been the mastermind of this incident. But, I'm not sure what he's actually doing right now. Certainly from now on, I should be more vigilant together with this group. Samir began to think about the possibility that would happen next.
