Chapter 2 - Adventure Vezda Fenias #2

In less than 4 hours, Vezda had already touched the 36th floor. Surely he did not fight many monsters of all kinds. Even so he still fought some monsters that blocked his path. On the 36th floor, which is the safe floor, Vezda read the instructions again about the floors that will be faced. Each floor up to 36 has easy and conventional routes and easy-to-remember backup routes, but after stepping on the 37th floor, the, he knew that there would be something different with each floor. Currently Vezda has 15 recovery potions, 12 injectors, 15 explosives, Titan scarves, Mithril light gauntlets for the right hand, and 4 swords that have good quality. Some of the items of course he looted from the corpse of the adventurer who was on the 37th floor.

With this extra gear, I can go deeper. Maybe 55 or 52. Vezda made up his mind to go deeper as a solo adventurer. Even though it was actually suicide.

That doesn't bode well for Vezda when it sees the caterpillar eating a monster whose habitat is on the 52nd floor. Even if there were dragons, maybe the caterpillars could fight the dragons.

“How?” A man wearing a robe and mask asked and his voice was familiar to Vezda's ears.

“Carlos?” Vezda immediately asked and prepared his machete in his left and right hands.

“One stop. I'm Carlos who's long dead, but I'm revived and have this power.” Carlos said while opening his mask. Carlos is a former member of the Yvette Alliance who left and chose to wander 2 years before the Yvette Alliance massacre.

Vezda knows there's something strange in Carlos. Surely a human would emit the aura of a human and a monster would emit its aura like a monster, but this was the first time he had ever seen Carlos and his aura was not like the Carlos he knew. The aura Carlos gave Vezda was a monster.

Is this possible? How can humans be monsters? Vezda thought quickly as he prepared to fight back.

“Are you still human?” Vezda finally asked that question.

“Of course not. I became one of the strongest monsters in the dungeon and this new species was a blessing I received from Him.” Carlos was very proud and showed his body that had become like a plant around him.

Her? Wh who? There was no way Archon could turn humans into monsters. Vezda thought hard because Carlos very clearly pointed to someone who became the leader of Carlos.

“If you say that then you already have no pity on the other adventurers, right?” Vezda asked.

Alright. Carlos, now you're the enemy. Vezda's gaze changed and he began to build his grudge on Carlos.

“Then you must die.” Vezda said as he pointed his machete at Carlos.

“CRUSH HIM!” Carlos gave an order to all the caterpillar monsters and spouted a liquid that was an acidic liquid.

Vezda had time to dodge, although his endurance was strong, the liquid was not a good thing for his body. With his ability to use both swords in his hands to kill the caterpillars that attacked him, but after 6 sword caterpillars that Vezda used melted due to acid. When Vezda will take the other 2 swords, the plant shakes through the ground with its roots by tying its legs and throwing Vezda with all its might.

Vezda hit the wall and it was very painful. To speed up recovery, Vezda directly took 1 injector and used it. Just before the acid attack would melt him, Vezda could rise and dodge.

I have to destroy Carlos here and now. Otherwise, this could be a bad thing for the adventurers upstairs. Vezda started his seriousness and directly attacked Carlos, not the monsters around him.

Order & Peace is the 2 main machetes belonging to Vezda that are connected by chains on the back of both handles. From a long time ago, this Vezda weapon was not a conventional weapon and no one else used a weapon of that type other than himself.

“Your ability is still far away for me who can have monsters.” Carlos underestimated Vezda.

Suddenly, Vezda attacked him very quickly. Like Carlos didn't see it. Carlos was able to withstand the barrage of attacks from Vezda and forced Vezda back down to the floor. Then Carlos used his monsters to surround Vezda from all directions. Carlos doesn't know that Vezda has a special explosive.

Honestly, this is the perfect place to try it. Vezda picked up 4 of his special explosives and threw them up while slashing and tacking each explosive ball very quickly. A very large delay occurred right then and there and freed Vezda from the plant.

Wait a minute where is he? Carlos was confused because Vezda disappeared from his sight and tried to look around, but nothing.

Suddenly Vezda landed from the ceiling right above him, but Carlos had time to check his attack and only the caterpillar he was riding on was crushed to ashes. Carlos survived the attack on Vezda.

“Monster? You sent your monster upstairs?” Vezda asked Carlos after realizing that many monsters were missing.

“Of course. I felt the food there. And you..” Carlos attacked very quickly in the direction of Vezda and Vezda had to resist Carlos' attack. “Cannot go anywhere.”

The food? Adventurers mean? Damnit. I don't know if they can defend against these strange monsters or not. Vezda held off an attack from Carlos and thought about making a decision.

“Take it easy. It's just between us. Two old friends who killed each other.” Carlos said excitedly while attacking Vezda.

Vezda immediately kicked Carlos to make the distance between him and Carlos. Despite that, Carlos can attack 1 time with his blade on Vezda's left shoulder. This time Vezda had to continue resisting Carlos's attack because Carlos would also probably kill every other adventurer who came on the 50th floor.

Vezda momentarily fell silent and immediately looked exhausted because the poison had begun to spread slowly. Vezda immediately attacked Carlos without much pleasantries or responding to Carlos. Vezda attacked so aggressively that Carlos could only defend, and Vezda quickly threw his explosives. Just before Carlos took refuge using his plant monster, Vezda sent all four blasting right to the sidelines of the floor and the explosion made Carlos unable to move for a while. Behind the smoke, Vezda immediately ran towards the 50th Floor.

Hopefully. Vezda's distance with the road up to the 51st floor was not far, but he was surprised to see the monsters break the dungeon wall and make a shortcut towards the direction of ascending to the 50th floor. Waita minute. This way they could be in danger. Every monster focused on attacking the 50th floor and no one focused on Vezda. Vezda therefore began to move above the caterpillar monsters.

As he was heading towards the 50th floor, Vezda felt something very hot and it was a very powerful magic. The magic had already wiped out half of the 50th floor that had already been attacked by those plant monsters and caterpillars. Vezda did not enter the stairs leading to the 50th floor and waited for the flames to subside.

Whatisthis? Why am I not feeling well? Vezda was too late to feel that. Then the plant emerges from behind him and pulls Carlos out of the mouth of the plant.

“You think you can escape, huh!?” Carlos easily cut off Vezda's unprepared wrist with the attack.

The shout was impossible to hear by the adventurers on the 50th floor who were staying away from the entrance of the 51st floor. Then Carlos ordered the plant to hurl it so powerfully at the 50th floor that it reached the forefront that the adventurers survived.
