Chapter 27 - 24th Floor, Feeding Zone

Several obstacles forced Vezda, Ragnulf, Syllia, and Celaena to face on the 22nd floor. The strange thing was that the 3 Monster Party all at once shrouded them, but thanks to Ragnulf and Vezda everything was safely restrained even though it had to slow them down to over 3 hours. However, Syllia is much more protected Vezda, Ragnulf, and Celaena because of her close combat ability which is still very difficult to do.

“In the meantime we're heading to the 24th floor. It's longer than I thought.” Ragnulf said to Vezda who was behind.

“Ragnulf, we stop first.” Vezda gave the order to Ragnulf to stop and Vezda's group now stopped in the initial sector of the 24th floor.

“What's up?” Ragnulf asked Vezda.

“We will do the re-preparation. Monster party was really draining all of us.” Vezda.

“Not with that slow Elf.” Ragnulf pointed at Syllia.

“I won't blame him. We rest for 1 hour. After that we directly break through whatever is in front of us to the Feeding Zone.” Vezda gave orders to his group.

“Moonlight gives me power, let your shine penetrate everything. Reach and repeat. Light Ray.” Syllia used her magic to destroy the nest of insect monsters that were several hundred meters away from them so that they could all rest in peace.

“Heh? I think you're a little useful in this.” Ragnulf said and kept watch around as long as Celaena, Syllia, and Vezda sat down to prepare some things.

“Good shot, Syllia. Celaena, you've used too much magic just now. Restore your hands for a while.” Vezda gave the potion from his bag.

“Thank you, Vezda.” Celaena received the potion Vezda gave her.

Vezda then took out two short sword blades with A-class material. It was the sword he had deliberately bought for Ragnulf's reserve because he knew exactly that Ragnulf's sword had begun to break. Vezda then walked to Ragnulf to give him the sword.

Vezda deliberately did not answer him and just smiled. Ragnulf is usually very rude to new people and weak-looking in his eyes, but Vezda's figure in Ragnulf's eyes is very different. Even when compared to Laris, Aleratha, and Bromner, Vezda is much different. For some reason Ragnulf did not dare to do anything rude to Vezda and was much gentler to face Vezda. It's like respect. “Friends, we use the main route to Feeding Zone.” Vezda said as he headed back to where all he and Ragnulf were talking was.

Ragnulf's right. Brother Ragnulf's words were truly cruel and I was annoyed to hear them, but that was the reality. Vezda's group began to accelerate very quickly towards the Feeding Zone, but with Syllia still slumped with what Ragnulf was talking about.

“Monster plants already arrived. You all get ready!” Ragnulf provided the information and they all started running to break through the enemy.

Their location was all right in front of the giant Feeding Zone. Whatever's ahead there, they have to face whatever the risk. Walking slowly they saw something very surprising. The entire Feeding Zone had already turned into a green meat field and the huge crystal that became the core of the Feeding Zone was monopolized by 2 giant monsters. Each monster was like a plant stem that merged into 1 and its size was enormous.

“Passionate plant? It must be monster.” Adrian said as he looked at the 2 giant monsters on the crystal pillar.

“It looks like it is the cause of this sector changing.” Nyllia said to the others.

“See!” Lilina pointed at the green flesh clump in the middle of which was something shining.

“Fetus?! It was the same Fetus as on the 18th floor the other day.” Lilina.

“Not just that. Plant monsters were also born here and there was a cage. In other words, there is a connection with adventurers as well.” Racita said as she watched the plant monsters come out from the wall next to them.

“Racita, look ahead.” Chaleed pointed towards the front.

It was seen that a group of adventurers were wearing white hoods, mouth coverings, and robes and they seemed ready for battle. They were led by an adventurer using a black hood. Then there was another man wearing only a white robe and a mask made from the skull of a goat exposed part of his chest.

“It looks like it is the lead of these people.” The joy said to others.

“They seem ready to fight us too. Then what's your plan?” Lilina asked Racita.

“Of course we will fight back and we will interrogate them. As much as possible, do not kill them. We need them alive.” Racita gave direction to other members to fight the hooded group.

“Then I want the front row to focus on repelling the enemy. If it is near, the middle row will do battle. Surely they are also helped by the plant monsters, so you all must also focus on the enemies and monsters that exist.” Racita continued her words.

“Then, what if you give the command to me? You must have heard what James said. You are the core of this alliance. You can make an overall observation and it will be a very powerful weapon for us.” Chaleed gave an explanation to Racita.

The group led by Racita was ready in their formation and started to advance against one of the 1 separate enemy group members due to being too far ahead alone. As Adrian restrains the person, Chaleed, Lilina and Tiana can easily immobilize the person and hold him or her from moving.

“He? You think you can easily fight me?” Chaleed said to the person and slammed him with all his might so that his body could not move.

“More easier than I thought.” Lilina said and held the person down.

“Lilina, Force Status Reveal.” Chaleed asked for the item to find out which Alliance they were from.

“He? You turned out to be quite despicable for an Elf. Then, we'll see where your alliance comes from.” Lilina and Chaleed were already laughing and the person could not be seen clearly because only their eyes were visible.

“I present this to You, Archon. I'm sorry, Tiara.” The person said something and Chaleed realized something quickly.

“LILINA, MOVE AWAY!” Chaleed forced Lilina to move away and was thrown away due to Chaleed's impulse.

BOOOOOM!!!

An explosion destroys the person's body and injures Chaleed. Chaleed went straight into such a critical condition that Adrian instantly repulsed many enemies and made a rarity that was far enough. Lilina was still unable to respond with what just happened a few seconds ago.

“CHALEED!!!” Lilina screamed and immediately walked over to Chaleed's sprawled body.

“They used suicide bombs to attack us.” Adrian said and Tiana immediately retreated to help Chaleed be brought to the back line in order to use the recovery potion.

“Dila, I'm sorry I couldn't keep my promise! I'LL CATCH UP WITH YOU!” One of the group of enemies advances and detonates himself in front of Adrian and is enough to deal damage to the one behind Adrian.

“They've gone crazy.” James said and tried to stand up.

“ARIA, LET ME LIVE WITH YOU!!”

“YURI, FORGIVE ME!!”

“SAN, I WILL BE WITH YOU AGAIN!!”

Each scream ended with an explosion that destroyed their bodies without any remaining. James, Adrian, Naria, and Blorie continue to receive explosion after explosion.

“This doesn't make sense. HAVE YOU GUYS GONE CRAZY??” James shouted to the group of enemies who continued to attack with short swords and suicide bombs.

“Blorie, reverse. Your wound is too heavy.” Adrian gave orders to Blorie and Blorie immediately retreated while enduring the pain.

“This is all the high level potions I have! Give it to Chaleed.” Racita gave all the potions she had to Mira.

“Good!” Mira immediately rushed over to help Chaleed.

“O’Niel, take Sheryl there and Sheryl, use healing magic for each of them who need to use as frugally as possible.” Racita then gave orders to O’Niel and Sheryl.

“Good.” O’Niel and Sheryl answered Racita and instantly joined the centerline while the frontline held off many explosions and attacks of plant monsters simultaneously.

Who and what are we really fighting? All those people were shouting names, but not Archon's, but someone's name. Did they show their loyalty through death or how? Racita continued to process with what was happening in the place because all the things that were being fought were very unreasonable.

Just right!? Racita was surprised to see a plant monster appear behind him and ready to attack with a large number.
