Chapter 8

Johan is playing with his cute niece Michele. Tony and Anna, who visited a few days ago, are not home yet. The plan is they will stay here for less than a week because Tony already misses both parents.

Anna and Amel were sitting in the living room while watching Johan and Michele who were engrossed in the park. Because this house was dominant with glass it was very clear for them to look outwards.

"Mel, what do you think.?" Anna started the conversation

"What is it, brother?" amel was confused

"Johannes. How do you think?"

"Yes handsome is my brother. Tajir again, it's just that he's a little haughty huh." Amel's face started to frown

" They are almost engaged, unfortunately Jessika was sentenced by doctors to develop brain cancer. That would be a blow to Johan. After all the efforts made for Jessika's recovery, she finally lost in the face of fate. He died 2 years ago. A biggest wound to Johan." Anna's voice was a little hoarse. She knows exactly what everything is like because she was married back then and happens to still live in this house so she knows Johan's past about Jessika.

"Amel, keep approaching Johan. I'm sure he'll be fascinated with you. It's not now but later he will definitely like you." evil smiles began to be drawn on the faces of the two.

Both Anna and Amel wanted to get married just because possessions were not love. Fortunately, Anna has now managed to stay to find a way for Amel to be part of this family.

After talking about how to get Johan, suddenly the sound of the house phone rang.

The servant who was standing not far from there immediately rushed to pick him up. Anna saw him at a glance and looked back at Amel and was busy telling stories

Suddenly the waiter runs out to Johan who is engrossed with Michele, her brother's 4-year-old little daughter.

The servant conveyed the news received from the caller who claimed to be the caretaker of the Kasih Bunda orphanage.

Hearing the news Johan was immediately shocked. He held Michele and gave it to Anna, without saying much more he immediately rushed to pick up his car keys ready to go to the hospital at high speed.

Tia's mother anxiously awaits the arrival of Isma's mother's family.

A few moments later Nini arrived. He had changed clothes and cleaned the blood that had been attached to his body.

Bu Tia and Nini were very anxious, a few minutes later Johan came with his breath cut off, and he ran around the hospital looking for an operating room.

He saw two familiar women. Approaching them limply, this time he was really scared. He was afraid of losing the most precious woman in his life. Jessika's departure had already made her suffer greatly.

"Mom. I'm Johan Isma's son." Johan approached then sat down on the floor limply

" Yes, son. The doctor just came in. I wish everything was okay" Tia's mother's face looked extremely anxious.

Nini was still fixated on staring at the operating room lights that were still on. Signs of the operation continue

" How many minutes has it been, Mom?" ask Johan to Tia's mom

"Is there a donor?"

" Yes son. It was fortunate that the same blood supply as Isma's mother was still in this hospital, son." Tia's mother tried to strengthen Johan who seemed to have been very nervous.

"Thank God." Johan clenched both his hands shut his eyes his head bowed deeply.

Nini noticed Johan's movements. He imagined that if this happened to his mother, he might do something even crazier. He might run to church. Kneeled and cried for God to heal his mother. Somehow Nini's tears fell really he could not if it happened to his mother.

Nini wiped her tears and walked away from Tia and Johan's mom.

Tia's mother looked at Nini with confusion.

Nini, who felt the distance was safe, picked up her phone and called her mother. Her tears fell again this time she realized her busy pursuit of career made her exhausted so rarely for her to communicate with her favorite people.

The sound of the phone starting to sound. Not long after the warm voice of the mother began to say hello

"Hallo good afternoon." a happy smile appeared on the mother's face. All this time he has been trying to understand the busyness of his son. His longing must be able to be endured to this day.

"Mothers.. Is mom okay?" nini's question made me shocked.

"When are you going to be here? The family here misses you so much. It's been almost 7 years you haven't come home." Nini was more and more moved to hear her mother's request. He held back his longing for his family, only he was very busy. Getting a leave is not easy for him.

After conveying her reasoning and talking about other things Nini finally hung up her phone. There was a sense of relief in his heart hearing that his mother and family were doing well.

Nini returns to Johan and Tia. It's been almost 1 hour. Finally the operating room lights went out. The doctor and several nurses came out and asked who Isma's mother's relatives were.

As Johan approached, the doctor began to explain why his mother had to undergo surgery. Johan who is also a medical graduate immediately understood without the need for a lengthy explanation.

Tia's mother approaches Johan and asks Isma's mother.

" Daughter, how's Isma's doing?" tanya ma'am Tia with was-was

" Mom is safe, ma'am. She had to have surgery because she had a lot of bleeding. Mother's blood pressure was also unstable." Johan's face was slightly relieved. He knew his mother was safe

Johan was downcast, he knew the inner cause of his mother being depressed. It was just that his heart could not be open to anyone.

Nini just stood glued staring at the concerned Johan. After a while waiting for Ismi's husband, and his other family came. Seeing the atmosphere that had improved finally Tia and Nini's mother returned home.

The departure of Bu Tia and Nini was escorted by Johan to the front of the hospital. Amel who saw immediately felt jealous. He looked at Nini cynically, he was afraid that this girl would become his rival. Because after being noticed this girl is beautiful and does not seem to be an ordinary person.
