Sacred Promise
Chapter 41
Nini's legs are very tired. He kept going around but didn't meet any known people. He chose to sit on a chair that had been prepared for the guests.
People were enjoying the dish, some were laughing happily, some were dancing.
Nini held her stomach that had begun to crackle, she walked up to a long dining table and then chose one by one the food she liked. Without a long wait Nini had eaten the food. He did not care if he had to look stupid because he was alone in that crowded place. While eating his eyes continue to sweep the crowd that is there. His eye movements stopped on a man who was behind him. But he knew it was Johan.
Nini put the food on the table, then a little rushed over to Johan who seemed to be walking again. Johan kept calling his wife, she was already very agitated and angry.
"Hey wait." the voice stopped Johan's footsteps. He turned his anxious face instantly turning relieved seeing Nini was already there.
"Where are you?" johan asked holding his wife's shoulder
"Bathroom, uh your back is gone. Tired of this from earlier mutter." Nini's face pouted
"Why not say it? Mom just wanted you to be known as a big family. Come on." Johan pulled Nini's hand.
Johan's steps immediately stopped when dealing with Adit. Nini pounded softly on Johan's shoulder from behind which stopped suddenly making him shocked.
2 pairs of eyes that look at each other hatefully and the other looks relaxed.
"Hallo my brother." Adit acted as if their relationship was good.
Johan threw his eyes at others.
Nini who saw Adit straight forward and lowered her head saluted her boss.
Adit smiled triumphantly.
"Wah Johan, I just found out that you're married. So fast my brother you didn't even invite me." Adit deliberately provoked Johan's anger.
Nini smiled clumsyly looking at Johan who did not care about Adit.
"Congratulations sir. At his wedding." Nini tried to melt the atmosphere
"No problem Nini. I just didn't expect you to be married to my very handsome cousin." Adit's eyes were still on Johan
"Oh yes sir, I also did not expect that you are still brothers."
Johan waved his hand at a servant.
"Take him to the VIP room." Johan ordered as the waiter approached.
"Aren't you coming?" ask Nini to Johan
"You go first, I'll follow you." Johan smiled at his wife.
Nini nodded then once again saluted Adit.
When Nini is away, Adit approaches Johan
"Do you love him?" adit's question was just to make fun of Johan
"You're married to a woman you don't love, right?" reply Johan
"Yes. But my wife won't bow her head to you, will she? You already know what I mean." Adit smiled triumphantly again.
"You don't need a big head. He just did what he had to do to his boss."
"Of course if that guy did that to a regular guy I wouldn't have a big head. But a Johan's wife works and submits to her own enemy."
Johan looked annoyed at Adit. His breath is hunting.
"I looked at your wife's eyes. His look at you is like there's no love." Adit's back to fishing Johan
" I'm married to a woman I don't love, but everyone knows she loves me a lot."
"It's Lisa's stupidity to marry a disgusting man like yourself who's been sleeping awake with a lot of women. I didn't expect a woman as good as her to be betrothed to ******* like you."
Adit shook his head slowly, looking down at the glass in his hand.
"Do you know Johan, that I'm in love with your woman?" Adit said relax.
"Didn't you love all women?" Johan squinted his eyes in annoyance.
" Nini doesn't deserve to be with a coward like you that's why she's destined for me." Johan's eyes grew sharper, he couldn't stand it anymore
"Look at you, you act like you love her. I feel sorry for that woman."
"Stop talking about my wife with your dirty mouth." Johan stepped his foot over Adit
His steps were held by Adit by hand. Johan soon gained control of many eyes that had been fixed on them.
"Don't make me mess up your marriage."
"I just want to say this" Adit came forward and whispered to Johan's ear
" In addition to Jessika, I kissed your wife the day after your wedding." Adit went straight away and kept his distance wanting to see Johan's next reaction.
Johan's face was flushed red withstanding emotions.
"Liar!!" with all the might Johan controlled his voice.
"I am indeed an********Johnan. But what you need to remember. I'm not a liar." Without waiting for an answer from Johan, Adit's gone.
Johan looked at his cousin's back. He knows very well what Adit's person. They used to be very close, but because of the ambition of their parents, they slowly hated each other. Actually, Johan's hatred was not because of that but the behavior of Adit deliberately kissing Jessika in front of him made the fire of hatred blazing until now.
The greater the hatred Johan heard the honesty Adit just now. With long steps he walked towards the VIP room. Arriving inside he pulled Nini's hand violently without caring about the people there.
Nini is surprised to try to hold back but Johan's power overpowers her. Many eyes were on both. Maya is shocked to see Nini being forced by her husband
Up in front of the hotel Nini's hand was pulled from behind by Adit. Both steps stopped. Johan forced Nini's hand to make the woman scream in pain.
"Don't hurt him Johan." Adit's face begged a little. He knew Johan could not control his anger.
"Detach your hand *******. She's my wife, I have every right to do anything." Johan brushed off Adit's hand.
Nini just gawked at the confusion of being among the 2 tall athletic men.
"What's this, what's wrong with you?" Nini asked frantically seeing the two like they wanted to prey on each other
" Because she's your wife then treat her properly." That's all that comes out of Adit's mouth. He would feel guilty if anything happened to Nini all because of her actions.
"Just destroy your marriage, don't interfere with the lives of others." Johan grew more and more rude to pull his wife's hand
Nini's arm was about to be let go. Johan opened the door and pushed violently Nini inside. Banging hard on the car door. He went inside too.
At high speed, Johan drove his car out of the hotel yard.
Nini didn't have time to put her seat belt on as did Johan.
He's very scared. Johan drives at high speed.
"What's wrong with you?" tanya Nini was nervous
"Shut your mouth." Even at high speed, Johan was still able to control his car.
Nini just kept quiet and kept looking at Johan. He's really scared
Why was he suddenly being so rude like God?
Johan almost hit a five-footed swordsman.
Nini was screaming hysterically. Luckily Johan stepped on the brakes as quickly as possible. The sound of friction tires and asphalt make people around the road run closer to the car. The old man who pushed the wagon just stroked his chest and shook his head slowly.
Johan took a deep breath and then breathed it rough. Nini still covered both her ears with her hands.
After normal circumstances return Johan drove at moderate speed. He was already very sorry for the frightened Nini.
The people surrounding the car chased him and fought like they wanted to hit the windshield.
Nini was still silent, she was still traumatized by the incident. His mind could not imagine if it had to witness an accident right before him.
