Sacred Promise

Chapter 23

It's almost night. Nini had arrived at their doorstep. He hesitantly opened the door slowly. There was no Johan there, he breathed a sigh of relief and walked in. Put the bag on the table by the door. Sit on the bed, take off your shoes, walk to the bathroom. The shoes were placed near the bathroom door, later there will be a waiter who comes to clean everything.

In the bathroom, Nini soaked her body with warm water in the bathtub. He added a few drops of perfume into the water so that the aroma made the body and mind calmer. Nini closed her eyes slowly enjoying the sensation of her luxurious bath.

How shocked Nini when she opened her eyes it was very dark. He was so afraid of the dark, his breathing began to tighten.

"Ahhh, no. Ahhh.. Helpggg!!" Nini shouted very loudly, while closing her eyes and closing her ears tightly

"Please!!!" Nini opened her eyes again, it was still dark

"Please!!! I'm afraid of the dark! Hix. Hicks.." Nini is already questioning.

No one answered it. The room was soundproof.

The longer he was short of breath, the more he tried to get up and get out of the tub. Nini's confusion had to walk in which direction, she was spinning groping here and there. His breathing could no longer be controlled he finally fainted.

Johan was on his way home, in the middle of the road he saw the electricity completely extinguished. A few seconds later, there was a message from the local PLN that conveyed an apology because there were some obstacles that had to be resolved. Johan only glanced at her for a while then refocused on the road.

Arriving home, emergency electricity has been turned on. Johan parked his car and walked to the room.

He opened the door, the room was still dark. Emergency electricity in the room, not yet turned on. Johan turned on the flashlight on his phone and walked to the electrical contact and pressed it. Emergency lights immediately lit up. He saw that Nini's bag and shoes were there.

*Where this guy is, he doesn't even turn on the lights.

Johan sat on the sofa, loosened his tie, opened his watch and began to take off his shoes and clothes one by one.

He opened the bathroom door, walked up to the backup electrical contact and pressed down on it.

When he turned to want to go to the bathtub, Johan gasped in shock to see Nini lying unconscious on the floor without being wrapped in a thread.

Johan approached him touching the pulse on Nini's neck and wrist.

He touched Nini's head.

"God he's nyctophobia (phobia of the dark). " Johan carried his wife's body onto the bed.

He dried Nini's body with a towel. Then cover it with a blanket up to his chest.

Johan's hand stroked Nini's hair. He watched Nini's entire facial line closely.

*You are so beautiful, sorry to be present in my life.

Johan kissed his wife's forehead gently, then returned to the bathroom again.

Almost 30 minutes of Johan cleaning himself up. He came out wearing a towel around his waist. He saw Nini was up and sitting on the bed.

"You're sober?" johan asked as she brushed her wet hair by hand

"Emm.." Nini just muttered

"All right." Johan walked into the clothes room.

A few seconds later Johan came out, he was already wearing casual clothes. In her hands she held a shirt for Nini.

"It's wear. I'm afraid I'll be aroused again if I see you like this." teased Johan.

Nini simply accepted the clothes without replying to Johan. He looked at Johan, a sign of wanting the man to come out so he could wear the clothes.

"Why look at me like that?" Johan opened his eyes.

"Come out for a minute." pinta Nini in a voice that sounded a little whisper

"I'll turn around and won't see you." Johan quickly turned his body around.

A few seconds later, Nini said she was done.

Johan turned towards Nini.

The girl sat back on the bed leaning against a pillow.

Johan approached Nini and squeezed his wife's fingers gently.

"Are you afraid of the dark?" ask Johan softly

Nini simply replied with a nod of her head.

Johan immediately hugged Nini's head and leaned her against the chest.

Nini raised her head to look at Johan.

" Are you going to promise me this?"

"Yes I promise." Johan kissed Nini's forehead.

Johan was afraid that something would happen to Nini. For him losing Jessika in the past was enough.

*Y*a I don't love you yet, but no matter what happens I promise God that I will always be with you until the end of my life.

"It's almost 8 o'clock, do you want to eat something?" ask Johan

"Yes, I'm hungry." Nini's voice was relaxed.

"alright. I'll have the waiter deliver the food" Johan said as he grabbed his phone and called someone.

Not long after, 2 maids brought food. Nini watched them carefully.

*A*h, those who were then taking the goods in rented.

When the servants wanted to get out, Nini held them back.

"Hey wait!" he ran slowly towards the 2 women. Johan just watched

"Where are my family's photos?" ask Nini worriedly

"It's been kept in the gallery room of the non family" replied a waiter who looked older

"Gallery room?" Nini looks confused.

Johan approached them, telling the two maids to leave.

They bowed respectfully

"Come back here if I call." Johan ordered.

"Okay sir." the two answered simultaneously, then went out and closed the door slowly.

Johan pulled Nini's hand towards the table that had been served some food menu.

"In the meantime, where's the gallery room? I want to see my family's picture." Nini brushed Johan's hand gently

"You don't have to worry, the servants here always work well and honestly."

Johan again pulled Nini's hand.

They both enjoyed the meal without talking.

Nini thought about the pictures of her family whereas Johan thought nothing of her just focusing on her food.

After eating, Johan called again and soon 2 of the same waiters came in and cleaned the table. Then they brought out the plates and glasses that their masters and ladies had been wearing.

Johan sat on the sofa reading the book he read yesterday.

While Nini is leaning on the bed while playing her phone. They are busy with their own business.

After getting bored and feeling sleepy, Nini turned off her phone and lay on her back. Her eyes began to close. Suddenly the electricity went out again. Nini immediately opened her eyes and shouted hysterically, her hands closing both ears then closing her eyes

"No..!!!"

Johan who had memorized every detail of the room, immediately ran to embrace Nini's body. Buried Nini's face in her arms

"Silent. Take a deep breath slowly" Johan said as he picked up the phone in his pants pocket. He turned on the flashlight from his phone. Nini was relieved with that little help of light.

Nini did what Johan had asked. Take a deep breath and breathe it out slowly.

"Do you feel better?" asked Johan with a little anxiety

Nini just nodded her head slowly. Johan let go of his embrace. Laying Nini's body down slowly, then placed her phone on a small table near Nini. He lay close to Nini, re-hugged and buried his wife's face in an embrace.

"You don't have to be afraid, in a few minutes the electricity will be turned back on" Johan said as he patted Nini's shoulder gently

Sure enough, it did not take long for the electricity to be turned back on. Johan smiled with relief, when he wanted to take off his embrace Nini was already asleep. He could not bear to let go of his embrace, just let Nini fall asleep like that until morning.
