Chapter 46

Fany parked his motor matic in the backyard. It is a habit when you go home from work. He now works for a well-known private bank in the country.

Sometimes he has to be late when he has a lot of work. As of now, he had to work until 9 p.m. Fany was still sitting for a while on the seat on the back porch of their house. He turned his head slowly left and right.

"Capek huh?" nini asked as she sat next to her sister

Fany widened her eyes in disbelief. He stood up and jumped up very excitedly

"Sir Nini. I'm not dreaming?" Fany patted both of his cheeks

"Son dong." Nini stood up and hugged her sister's body.

Fany's fatigue disappeared. She pulled her brother's hand in and wanted to protest the same people home.

"Why don't you tell me that Nini's sister came home today?" asked Fany when she stood in front of her father and mother facing the tv.

"It's not gonna be a surprise anymore." Nini chimed in on her sister

"Nine." Fany hugged her sister tightly. "I miss knowing."

"Yes ah, my brother is not good." Nini let go of her sister's embrace.

"What the hell is Nini?" Fany looks pouty.

"Udah Fany's. There shower, from earlier we are all waiting for you to make a meal together." mother ordered

Fany according to him. He rushed to the room.

Nini sat down next to her mother who was watching television.

The vibration of the phone in his hand shocked Nini. He saw a call coming in from Johan

Oh, my God, I just remembered.

Nini ran to her room.

"Hallo." Nini greeted when she received the call

"Yes. How many hours have you been there?" Johan was immediately upset.

"sorry. I forgot."

"Redirect to video call right now." Johan's orders were firm.

Both are connected to video calls. Johan looked at Nini with longing.

" Us. I'm going to sleep first." Johan turned off his phone.

He looked at the bed where Nini usually slept.

"Him sleep."

Nini immediately threw her phone on the bed. He also laid his body on the bed.

A message came in and made his phone vibrate again. Nini grabbed her phone and opened the message.

John: I miss you. Hurry home.!!

"It was also a day that I stayed. Lebay deh."

Mom knocked on Nini's room door

"Darling, let's eat. Fany is done with it."

"Yes ma'am." Nini approached her mother.

The Five of them ate ravenously especially Nini who missed her mother's cooking so much.

A week has passed. Nini who always helped her mother began to forget her longing for Johan.

Every day he was busy helping take care of the restaurant and at night unwinded him by resting. There was no time to think about her husband.

Johan stepped into the office. He returned the salute of every employee but his face looked uninspired.

"Why is this my boss?" Doni scolds Johan who is already sitting in his chair.

"I'm sure you must miss your wife. Haha."

Johan rubbed his face.

"Come on Don, I feel lonely." Johan leaned his head against the ceiling of the room.

"Didn't you call her?" Doni was still busy tidying up the files on his boss' desk.

"I want to, but it looks like he's busy and happy there."

Johan thought for a moment.

"Where do I want to show him?" Don asked again

"Don't doubt your friend. Go away I'll take care of everything." Doni patted his chest

"alright. I'll leave Saturday morning." Johan smiled happily.

Doni who saw the face of his best friend back cheerful, feeling very happy.

It's 1 o'clock in the afternoon. Laurent's mother's restaurant has many visitors. The air in the city is very hot. Fortunately, the room was installed 3 AC at different angles so that the air felt comfortable.

Nini reads every order on the cashier table. Help some waiters deliver orders. He also takes care of finances.

A man came in wearing a black leather jacket.

"Bake 1 the same orange juice as usual, ma'am." The man knocked on the cashier's desk. He did not pay much attention to Nini. She thinks it's Laurent's mom.

Nini raised her face. The man was flabbergasted by the beauty of the woman in front of him.

"What message sir?" Nini asked once again because she was busy taking care of another order.

"Bake chicken 1 and orange juice." The man quickly controlled himself.

"Oh, please sit down sir. Later will be delivered" Nini pointed at the tables and put on her warm smile to amaze the man.

"Sir Nini, it's Mr. Andre asking you to deliver his order." a waiter pointed at the man earlier.

Nini scrunched her forehead

"Why should I?"

"Do not know brother. But she's Laurent's mother's customer and she's also pretty familiar with everyone here."

"All right." Nini according to him. He did not want to disappoint his customers.

Once ready, Nini delivered the order earlier.

Andre was very happy to see the beautiful woman approaching him carrying the order earlier.

"Please enjoy sir. " Nini thrust the food softly and then put on her smile again.

"Eh, can I have a chat for a second?" Andre held back Nini's departure

"What's wrong?" Nini was already sitting facing Andre

"You're Laurent's mother's son who works in Jakarta?" Andre started asking.

"Yes, my mom and I are very close. He often tells me about you. And" Andre was silent for a moment.

Nini raised her eyebrows waiting for the continuation of the man's story.

"Nit." The woman returned Andre's hand.

"What did you say?" Nini asked remembering the words that Andre had delayed earlier

"Oh and I are one of the members of Mr. Haris." Andre introduced himself as a police officer.

"Well, I haven't been here in a long time" asked Andre

"There's mom's activity, so I don't get to come here." Andre replied while continuing to enjoy his meal.

"Udah ma'am. Don't bother people eating too." Nini answered her mother with a slight annoyance

"No, no, no, no, no, this is Nini." Andre mentioned Nini's name with a familiar snob making the woman look even more upset.

Nini propped up her chin waiting for Andre to finish his meal. While mom has helped serve the subscriptions.

Andre had already finished him enjoying his juice while looking at Nini who was deliberately looking the other way.

"Nini." call Andre

"Hmm." Nini replied just by muttering. Now he understood why his mother had asked him to sit down with Andre. She's sure mom would want to set them up.

"Did you ever tell me about me?" Andre who felt himself worthy no longer shyly asked

"I've never been busy working so rarely communication with family." Nini's face looks outcry. He was already very bored with the familiar Andre

"Oh, I'm glad you finally came. All this time I've been waiting for you almost even desperate."

Nini looked at her eyes in wonder
