Sacred Promise

Sacred Promise
Chapter 73

Having children is the dream of every married couple. Although heavy, but Nini must

accept reality. He remained grateful and lived his day in peace. Indeed he is

she cannot have children, but at least she has a good and understanding husband.

As a successful man and having a beautiful wife, Johan also wants to have

a child as the successor to his descendants. But his wish was dismissed as far as possible. Him

not wanting to make Nini tormented. For him having a woman as good as Nini was enough. If God

perhaps someday, a miracle will happen.

Now Maya and Lisa always accompany Nini every Saturday and Sunday to visit the home.

It has been almost 3 months since Johan broke the news. Nini already looks cheerful like

first again.

“You to the parlor again huh babe?” johan asked as she entered the room. He just worked out at

around the home garden. He saw Nini who was busy counting clothes.

“Iya nih dear. Today we want to give a t-shirt for the kids. There will be a visit tomorrow

from America loh.” Nini said with a radiant face.

“America?” Johan frowned while sitting down to stretch his muscles.

“Iya. So all this time there was a very good fund donor. He is Indonesian, though,

it's just been living there for a long time. Well, it's been almost 12 years she's been married but not yet

child blessed. Tomorrow he will visit the parlor as well as raise a child.” Clearly Nini.

“Ohh, what's his name?” ask Johan again.

“If not mistakenly named mother Sulistiawati.” Nini again counted the number of packages.

“Ohh, from the name of the original Indonesia tuh. Ehh, all clothes are the same color?” Johan new

realize that all shirts are yellow.

“Iya. I deliberately ordered the same color, so it looks compact. There are also adult sizes

make me, mbak Lisa, Maya, Tia's mother and the other caretakers.” Nini's cheerful smile was drawn.

“Make me where?” Johan pointed to himself.

“Emang you also want?”

“Mau dong, tomorrow I want to see a woman like that mother. Who knows, this could be an example

we right?” Johan shrugged both of his shoulders.

Instantly Nini's once cheerful face turned sad. An offended feeling approached him, he

back to counting the clothes so that Johan did not see the sadness on his face.

“Iya. You have a point too.” Nini said slowly

Johan did not see his wife's sad face. He laughed and went to the bathroom

cleared himself.

Nini lowered her head sadly. He sat on the couch and imagined the incident

hit him that night. His hand stroked his queen's stomach.

If you could be saved that night, you might be growing up.

Her eyes are wet. Amel's shadow as a satisfied laugh haunted his mind.

Wicked are you Amel, until your heart kills my innocent son.

Nini breathed out slowly. Trying to control his emotions.

“Alright, I should be able to accept this reality.” He said and resumed his activities.

The orphanage looks crowded. Not because of the visitors, but the joyous cheer of the children when

receiving clothes from Nini. Maya and Lisa also shared the clothes. Even the idea for

wearing the same clothes, coming from Lisa. They calculate all the costs and divide 3, and,

including all expenses for tomorrow's event.

“Why bother making an event, son? This is just a visit as usual.” Said Tia's mother

as they relax in the garden of the parlour.

“Bu, this is not an ordinary visit. First, this guy is willing to come all the way from America.

Second, he's gonna lift a kid out of this parlor. And third, it's also an event

farewell to the child he chooses. So, mommy don't turn down this show.” Nini Saying

emphatically.

“Mom relented, all of you leave it to the three of you. Thank you yes.” Tia's mother's eyes

looking at all three of them.

“Iya ma'am. We are happy to do something like this.” Lisa Sahut.

Maya just smiled knot.

Bend day...

Nini and Johan were already wearing plain yellow t-shirts. It's almost 8 in the morning, today

they are forced not to follow worship in order to launch the event later in the afternoon.

Arriving at the orphanage, Nini immediately rushed to help Tia's mother and the employees of the orphanage to

arrange a chair in the park.

Johan also joined several men who were busy decorating the small stage. All that

present there wearing a yellow shirt given by Nini and her two friends yesterday.

“Mbak, sorry yes I'm late.” Maya told Nini.

“No papa. Oh yeah, where's Lisa?” Nini swept the courtyard with her gaze.

“Don't know about mbak. I thought Lisa came the same way as Nini.”

“Maybe a moment more. Let's go to the kitchen, ready for the food.” Take Nini while pulling hands

Mayanist.

Johan watched over his wife who looked excited. A happy smile painted on

her face.

Lisa and Adit enter the courtyard with an orange-colored Lamborghini Huracan. All

looks were on them, except for Johan.

Lisa's face was red when she found her and her husband being stared at by people.

“Good morning everyone.” Adit said to everyone but his eyes were on Johan.

“ Good morning.” Reply to Tia's mother with a happy smile. Lisa kept her promise to

bring her husband today.

Lisa wears the same yellow t-shirt as the people, but Adit wears a black t-shirt fitting in

his athletic body. She doesn't like brightly colored clothes, too feminine for her.

A sneering smile was clearly visible on Adit's face on Johan who was wearing a yellow shirt.

“How are you sister?” Adit approached Johan who was watching the warriors.

“No need for pleasantries. I'm sick of.” Johan did not heed Adit's greeting.

“Hahaha, you still hate me?” Adit was standing right next to Johan.

“What's in it for me?” Johan was upset.

“Then you have to be ordinary.” Adit shrugged both his shoulders high.

Adit only glanced at his departure with a cynical smile.

“Tony is acting normal to me, so why do you still hate me little sister?” adit's mumbling

slow down.

At exactly 10 o'clock, the person who was waiting came. Sulistiawati. The children sang cheerfully in

on stage, they welcomed his arrival. Some songs are collaborated with moves accordingly

rhythm, to be interesting. Finished the welcoming event interspersed with a word from Tia's mother

as a thank you. Now comes the event of eating together, the children still look cheerful.

After the meal, Tia's mother took the simple stage. The look on the face of the middle-aged woman

looks sad. Nini frowned confusedly.

With a heavy heart, Tia's mother announced who would be brought to America tomorrow.

“Marselia Princess.” Tia's mother lirih.

Nini widened her eyes in disbelief. Johan rubbed his wife's shoulder gently.

“ Sell where bu?” Nini approached Tia's mother, as the middle-aged woman stepped off the stage.

“In son's room, he's packing his things.” Tia's mother's face was still sad.

Nini runs towards Seli's room. Right in front of the door, he rubbed his face to avoid being seen

wistful.

“Sel.” call her soft while smiling fake. He had to look strong, for Seli to be strong as well.

“Kakak.” Seli's face looked happy. He ran over to Nini and hugged her waist

brother closely.

Nini wiped her tears quickly and tried to keep a smile.

“Congratulations yes dear. You were chosen to be the adopted daughter of Sulistiawati's mother.” Nini half kneeled .

“Iya brother. Tia's mother said, America is far away. So I have to get everything ready.” right away

“Emm.. Cell, if for example you are given a mobile phone with your adoptive mother, please contact

sister.” Nini gave her card.

“Iya brother, thanks. “ Seli receive then save it in suitcase.

Nini again approached Seli and gently rubbed her head.

“Kakak hope, you will still be a good boy on arrival there.” Gentle Nini speech.

“Sure brother. I will obey all the words of my brother all this time. Respecting more people

old man, appreciating everyone, able to pray and learn, must be honest because lying is sin.” Intercalated

counting with his fingers.

“Intinya, Seli should still be a good boy.” Nini breathed out slowly.

Seli nodded obediently and then returned to packing her things.

Nini looked at Johan who had been leaning on the door, watching them. Smileful

singed on Johan's face as a form of reinforcement for Nini.

The event was over, Seli was also done with his preparations.

“For while we are still staying in hotel, waiting for passport and other letters about Seli.”

Sulistiawati's mother told them all.

“Iya ma'am. Holidays later often visit here, we will feel happy.” Tia's mother.

They drove Seli's departure with her foster mother in grief. The children

waving hands and cheering happily. Their minds are still too innocent to interpret

this moment. Seli waved her hand with a happy face.

Nini was sad. Johan hugged his wife's shoulder.

“You're patient yes. Maybe this is the best for his future.” Johan lirih.

Nini just nodded with a blank look. Now less people he loves.

In the past, Nini met with Seli at a crossroads close to the alley to the orphanage.

At that time, Seli was 5 years old towards 6 years old. Since that meeting, Nini began to sympathize with

plain girl who is cuddly.

Nini who was in a hurry to the office, almost hit a little girl with teeth

toothless.

“Jeez, you don't papa?” nini's face was pale.

“No papa. This is all that hurts.” The little girl pointed at her bruised blue feet.

“Yes God, here brother deliver to the hospital. Or to your house?” Nini tried to embrace

that boy's.

“My house is close. I can go home by myself.” The boy was still smiling among the

the ringing held the pain.

Nini was amazed by the child she had just met that day.

“ What's your name dear?”

“Seli kak.” A big smile showed his toothless teeth.

“Ya has finished. Sis between ya, brother promises later in the day brother will meet Seli's parents.” Nini Saying

really.

Nini held Seli's body lightly. Because Seli is skinny.

Seli pointed at every road leading to his house. Until they arrived in front of the orphanage.

“Where is Seli's house?” Nini circulated her gaze around the neighborhood.

Seli was agile, opening the car door without answering Nini's question. The boy ran towards

the door of the parlour and turned to wave.

“Administration of Kasih Bunda.” Nini spelled out slowly.

Nini also waved her hand and passed.

At lunchtime, Nini returned to the home with some medicine for wounds

seli Lebam.

A middle-aged woman who was none other than Tia's mother, was busy calling the children to eat

daylight.

“Happy day.” Nini greeted politely.

“Good day.” mother Tia turned around and stared at the wonder of the beautiful woman with a neat appearance.

“Seli no ya bu?” nini asked a little nervously.

“Sorry, who are you?” tia's mother no longer thought about the children who wouldn't eat.

“I Nini ma'am. Earlier this morning accidentally grazed Seli.” Nini bit her lower lip. She's already

preparing his heart if it must be homelinized or prosecuted, because he is guilty.

Tia's mother smiled and invited Nini to meet with Seli. From that day on, Nini promised

always there for that orphanage.
