REINCARNATION: TRAPPED IN THE WRONG BODY
CHAPTER 56. Ming Lan and Zhong Min came

***tuest room Taoist Temple***

A Jun walked over to Zhong Li aka King, while A Bai followed A Jun calmly.

"Sister Zhong Li!" greet A Jun while holding King's hand.

King pretended to turn his head towards the front with a blank eye.

"What's A Jun? Why aren't Hercules, Xena, and A Tu here?" ask King.

King guessed something must have happened that caused Hercules, Xena, and A Tu to not be near him as usual. Now even A Jun came looking for him.

"They were all in the front room of the Taoist Temple. Brother Zhong Li's mother and sister came over," A Jun replied innocently.

"My mom and my sister?" ask King.

"Yes. Madame Ming Lan and young master Zhong Min. They came with some soldiers to look for Brother Zhong Li in the Taoist Temple," replied A Jun.

"Warrior?" asked King in astonishment.

Before leaving for the Taoist Temple, King had already informed Ming Lan and Zhong Min of his trip to the Taoist Temple and would be staying there. Ming Lan and Zhong Min used the opportunity to send a hitman to kill Zhong Li and failed.

King was already planning to return to General Zhong Guo's residence tomorrow morning to see the shocked facial expressions of Ming Lan and Zhong Min, who must have thought Zhong Li was dead at the hands of the assassins.

Now Ming Lan and Zhong Min had come looking for him along with some soldiers so that made the King suspect something unknown had happened to him.

"Why did the soldier come?" ask King.

"There were people of Dong Wang Kingdom who found the carriage of General Zhong Guo's residence with a dead horseman. His head was cut off from his body so that the royal warrior Dong Wang stroked him. Madame Ming Lan informed the soldiers that the horse carriage was worn by Brother Zhong Li to the Taoist Temple so the royal warrior Dong Wang came to inquire about it. Brother Zhong Li's mother and sister also came. Jing Mi's sister asked me to call Zhong Li's brother over there." A Jun explained at length the events known to him.

King was relieved after hearing Princess Jing Mi's name mentioned by A Jun. King was confident that with Princess Jing Mi here, Ming Lan and Zhong Min would not be able to act out of sorts.

"Come on! I helped lead Brother Zhong Li there, "take A Jun with me.

"Wait a minute, A Jun!' said King. King wanted to ascertain in advance the conjecture that had suddenly appeared in his mind just now.

King closed his eyes tightly and concentrated fully on his mind. King practiced the telepathic science he learned last night from Princess Jing Mi.

The first step was for King to imagine Princess Jing Mi's face then look for the same frequency to send out signals from her already focused brain to Princess Jing Mi.

"Daughter of Jing Mi!" summon King's heart after successfully finding the same frequency as Princess Jing Mi to transmit the signal.

"Yes. You managed to use telepathy well." There was Princess Jing Mi's voice in King's ear.

"The horse coachman's body can be found by the soldiers because of Princess Jing Mi's hand? " ask King without further ado via telepathy.

"Yes!" Princess Jing Mi's reply was heard briefly through telepathy.

"alright. I'm going there now" King said by telepathy.

King smiled faintly and prepared to walk into the front room of the Taoist Temple to see the drama that was sponsored by Ming Lan and Zhong Min.

" A Jun!" The King called A Jun over to lead him to the front room of the Taoist Temple.

Suddenly King felt his leg being hit by A Bai. A Bai rubbed his head against King's feet so that King bent his body and pretended to try to look for A Bai's body with a blank eye.

"Sister Zhong Li! A Bai likes you," said A Jun.

A Jun raised A Bai's body and placed it in King's hand slowly. King stroked A Bai's white and soft fur.

King had a feeling the white wolf in his arms had a deep bond with him. Maybe in the near future A Bai will come with him.

A Bai let out a short howl while licking King's hand.

King was surprised by A Bai's reaction, as if A Bai could hear King's heart so King tried to prove his conjecture whether it was true or not.

"Down from my lap!" king's commandment in the heart.

A Bai jumped down from King's hand and looked towards King while shaking his tail.

"The smart wolf!" said King's heart.

A Bai approached King's feet and rubbed his head against King's feet again.

"A Bai! Let's take Brother Zhong Li to the front room" said A Jun.

A Bai howled shortly as a 'yes' reply to A Jun's words.

A Jun led King towards the vestibule followed by A Bai.

***Front room of Taoist Temple***

Ming Lan and Zhong Min sat in the front room while smiling broadly towards Princess Jing Mi who was seated with an expressionless face. Princess Jing Mi enjoyed the tea served by Hercules earlier.

Princess Jing Mi did not care about Ming Lan and Zhong Min at all for already knowing their rotten and evil hearts towards Zhong Li.

Meanwhile Hercules, Xena, and A Tu were answering questions posed by the soldiers of Dong Wang Kingdom.

A short while later the King arrived at the front room of the Taoist Temple. Hercules, who had already been interrogated by the soldiers, immediately replaced A Jun, leading King to sit next to Princess Jing Mi.

"Zhong Li's! Why is your face bruised? What's going on?" ming Lan said in tears, while Zhong Min stood beside Ming Lan looked at King with a worried look on his face.

"Family drama!" said King's heart while looking the other way with a blank eye.

King knew Ming Lan and Zhong Min were being nice to him for acting in front of Princess Jing Mi.

The warrior leader named A Chen walked up to the King with a crisp face.

"Young master Zhong Li! I am A Chen, the leader of the investigation soldiers, will ask you some questions regarding the events of two days ago," A Chen said kindly.

King nodded his head in a sign of understanding A Chen's words.

"What happened after young master Zhong Li came out of General Zhong Guo's residence?" ask A Chen.

King was silent for a while while pretending to think about the events of a few days ago, whereas Ming Lan and Zhong Min looked at King with an uneasy feeling.

"I heard the sound of heavy rain. Then the horse carriage stopped abruptly, A Tu cried out hysterically and Hercules riding the horse brought me here," replied King.

King's words were the same as the results of the interrogations carried out by A Chen against Hercules, Xena, and A Tu earlier.

The young Taoist priest, A Lao also gave the same answer as he who opened the door of the Taoist Temple to King and others on the night of the incident.
