REINCARNATION: TRAPPED IN THE WRONG BODY

CHAPTER 46. Taoist Temple

The sky turned dark, indicating that the night time had come. The heavy rain has become increasingly smaller.

Hercules and Xena pulled the horse's harness so that the sound of the horse's neighing echoed between the raindrops .

The two horses stopped in front of the Taoist Temple which was under the foot of the Kunlun Mountains.

A young tao priestess in gray clothes ran out from inside the Taoist Temple while holding an umbrella.

Gray color is the intermediate color between black and white.Often also called the neutral color.

"Welcome to the Taoist Temple!" said the young Taoist priest while smiling sincerely.

"Master Tao ! Can we stay here?" xena asked as she cupped her hands together in front of her chest as a sign of greeting the young Taoist priest.

"The Taoist temple is always open to accept anyone," replied the young Taoist priest.

"Thank you, Pastor Tao !" said Zhong Li aka King along with Hercules and Xena together.

Hercules and Xena got off the horse. Then Hercules helped King down from the horse-drawn carriage while Xena shouldered A Tu's still unconscious body on his shoulder.

The three of them walked following the young Taoist priest into the Taoist Temple. The young Taoist priest took them to a guest room containing three wooden beds.

"Master can stay in this room while the room for miss is next to this room. Dry clothes on the bed can be worn .  I'll prepare a vegetarian meal and drive him here!" said the young Taoist priest.

"Thank you Taoist priest!"

Hercules led King to the bed while Xena laid A Tu who was still unconscious on the bed.

"I'm coming with you!" hercules said to the young Taoist priest who was about to walk away from the guest room.

"Good, master!" said the young Taoist priest.

Hercules wanted to intervene alone cooking vegetarian food for King so followed the young taoist priest into the kitchen while carrying his special cauldron.

"Hercules! Young master Zhong Li is still soaking wet!" shout Xena.

Xena's screams made Hercules stop his footsteps.

"Oh yes !" hercules said as he patted his eel.

The four of them were drenched in rain as they broke through the torrential rain towards the Taoist Temple. Hercules, Xena and A Tu who worked as servants, of course their resistance to the weather was better. The three of them would not easily get sick just from the rain.

Zhong Li was the young master of the residence of General Zhong Guo who had been weak in stature all this time. If left to wear wet clothes for a long time, Zhong Li would definitely get sick.

"Master Tao! Please wait a minute ! I have to help young master Zhong Li change clothes first," Hercules said.

"All right! I'm waiting outside the room!" said the Taoist priest.

After Hercules left the guest room, King called Xena to talk about something.

"Xena!Tomorrow morning you come with me to the Kunlun Mountains. While Hercules and A Tu were waiting at the Taoist Temple," King said with a facing the other direction and blank eyes.

"Okay, young master Zhong Li!" xena answered obediently.

At first King wanted to set out on his own to the Kunlun Mountains secretly. King would reason to want to meditate in the room and surely his three servants would not dare to disturb him so that King could sneak into the Kunlun Mountains.

The attack by the hitman made King rethink his original plan. King had just been trapped in Zhong Li's body and stayed in the Wang Kingdom for over a week, so many things he had not known. It would be better if the trip to the Kunlun Mountains, he brought with him Xena who is skilled at fighting and concocting poison.

The King still had to pretend like a blind Zhong Li for a while. King was sure at the right time, he would admit his eyes had healed .

"AH!!! The head! The head horseman!" yelled A Tu while waking up from the bed.

Tears were rushing on both cheeks of A Tu. A Tu circulated his gaze around the room. Upon seeing King and Xena, A Tu immediately jumped down from the bed and ran towards them.

"Young master Zhong Li! Where are we now?" asked A Tu with a body that was still trembling in fear.

"Tao Temple! Replace your clothes with dry clothes! Soon Hercules will bring vegetarian cuisine," King said.

"Okay, young master Zhong Li!" answer A Tu .

Hercules brought a tray containing some vegetarian food and four bowls of white rice into the guest room.

The four of them ate voraciously because they had been hungry all day. King informed him of his plan tomorrow morning to go with Xena to the Kunlun Mountains. A Tu was relieved that King had not asked him to come to the Kunlun Mountains. A Tu was still traumatized by the incident earlier this afternoon.

The next morning King was already getting ready with iron gloves in his hands and a burlap bag on his back.

Xena led King out of the Taoist Temple. This morning King was very enthusiastic about being able to climb the Kunlun Mountains. His youthful blood raced quickly. King was impatient to see any flowers or magic grass at the top of the Kunlun Mountains.

Suddenly Zhong Li's keen sense of smell made King smell the scent of someone familiar to him. The aroma grew stronger which signified that the person was already nearby .

"What the h**l! Why Princess Jing Mi can be here!" scream King's heart.
