CHAPTER 50. Perennial grass
***Eastern white snow***
Zhong Li aka King still showed a calm look. Though in the depths of his heart, King was amazed by the science of lightening the body in this strange world.
Princess Jing Mi carried King flying over the sky lightly like they both had wings behind their backs.
At first the King who had always lamented his bad luck was trapped in Zhong Li's body, now it turned into there was a slight sense of gratitude because in this strange world that was Dong Wang Kingdom, it was now, he can have the opportunity to learn the science of lightening the body so that it can fly anywhere.
In his world King had to board a new airplane to be able to enjoy the beautiful scenery in the sky. King was getting more and more enthusiastic to get the immortal grass.
Moments later Princess Jing Mi and Zhong Li landed perfectly on the ground.
"We have arrived! " said Princess Jing Mi.
"In the place of the perennial grass?" asked King with an empty eye.
"Yes. I found a cave whose entrance was hidden. I'm sure the immortal grass is inside this cave" Princess Jing Mi replied.
King nodded his head.
"It turns out your reflexes are very good. If only you hadn't hung on the knife earlier, maybe I couldn't have saved you," Princess Jing Mi said as she stared intensely at King's face.
"Damn! He began to suspect" King grumbled.
"The little knife was a gift from Princess Jing Mi who saved me. I spontaneously held it just now" said King.
"It's a nice knife, too" Princess Jing Mi said briefly.
"Yes. Let's go find the perennial grass so that Xena doesn't wait too long."
King recalled Princess Jing Mi giving Xena an hour to look for the snow lotus flower so King used that excuse to distract Princess Jing Mi.
Princess Jing Mi held King's hand and walked into the cave. King who had to pretend to be blind, followed Princess Jing Mi's not-so-fast footsteps.
Princess Jing Mi always put away the rocks first or the branches in front of her. All the things that could make King slip lost in the blink of an eye so that King could walk calmly without worrying about himself tripping or falling.
The cave was so narrow and dark, so similar to the labyrinth that along the way Princess Jing Mi made a mark on the cave wall with her sword to make it easier to find a way out if the cave she was exploring was dead.
After walking through the narrow cave for ten minutes, Zhong Li's keen sense of smell allowed King to smell the fresh grass.
"The eternal grass is ahead!"shouted King spontaneously.
Princess Jing Mi stopped her footsteps and turned her head towards King who was behind her.
"How did you know?" princess Jing Mi asked in an investigative tone.
Princess Jing Mi was sure Zhong Li had never been to the top of the Kunlun Mountains so it was impossible to know the place of the immortal grass.
"From being blind, I rely on my sense of smell and never get it wrong, " replied King confidently.
"Good! You are not as weak as you look," Princess Jing Mi said in a flat tone and continued on the way while holding King's hand again.
"That's a compliment or a satire?" grumbled King's heart.
In accordance with King's assumption, at the end of the narrow cave there is a very large room. In front of them was now plastered with a variety of grass. The grass is in the middle and surrounded by rocks around it.
King who glanced at a glance with his empty eyes was surprised to see the scene before his eyes. There are about a hundred different types of grass and certainly the efficacy of each grass is also not the same.
"Where is the perennial grass?" said King's heart.
The new King realized he had absolutely no idea how immortal grass formed and it was possible that Princess Jing Mi did not know about it either. As if it could read King's heart, Princess Jing Mi spoke firmly and clearly.
"The perennial grass has a blood-red stem and white flower petals. Every day will only grow one stem," Princess Jing Mi said as she observed each type of grass before her.
What's more now King still has to pretend to be blind so Princess Jing Mi is his only hope of finding the immortal grass.
A feeling of doubt arose in King's mind. King was really unsure of being able to find an immortal grass this time.

"There!" princess Jing Mi shouted suddenly and directly hugged tightly onto King's waist to fly towards the place of the immortal grass.
The two of them landed right before the immortal grass. It turns out that the perennial grass is very long and is in a separate place from other grasses.
"I'll pull it out now!" princess Jing Mi said.
"Wait on! Can I pull it out?" asked King with an empty eye.
Princess Jing Mi shifted King's body to face the immortal grass.
"Go three steps ahead and take it off! The perennial grass stands right in front of you," Princess Jing Mi said.
"Thank you Princess Jing Mi!" said King sincerely.
King walked three steps forward following Princess Jing Mi's directions. Of course with her normal eyes since Princess Jing Mi was behind her.
When King wanted to pretend to fumble the immortal grass and pluck it out, King smelled a foul stench that hit his face all of a sudden.
"Be careful!" shouted Princess Jing Mi.
Princess Jing Mi leaped towards King and pulled King's body hard. They both fell to the ground and rolled several times avoiding the place of the immortal grass.
King's sharp sense of hearing heard a loud hissing sound.
"What's that sound?" asked King in a small voice to Princess Jing Mi who was on top of her body.
"The large black piton blade is about ten meters long," Princess Jing Mi replied as she looked towards the immortal grass circled by the body of the black python.
"What?" shouted King spontaneously.
King did not expect his guess about the existence of a savage beast guarding the immortal grass to be true.
King's shout attracted the attention of the black python.The black piton snake stared intently at King and Princess Jing Mi. The black python opened its mouth wide and moved towards the two of them.
"You stay here!" princess Jing Mi said to King.
Princess Jing Mi immediately got up and jumped to the side while scratching her sword against the floor, to distract the black python. The black python chased after Princess Jing Mi and left the King still lying on the ground.
Princess Jing Mi's nimble body managed to dodge the black python's attacks time and time again thus making the black python become angry and carry out an aggressive attack.
King stood up from his spot and looked at the fight between Princess Jing Mi and the black python. King decides to help Princess Jing Mi fight the black python. Although his blind acting will be caught by Princess Jing Mi, King doesn't care about it anymore.
These black pythons were huge, powerful, and aggressive. It was possible that during guarding the immortal grass, the black python had already eaten another nourishing grass so Princess Jing Mi might not be able to stand alone against the black python.
When the black python opened its mouth wide and was about to pounce on Princess Jing Mi, King jumped onto the tail and tightly hugged the black python's tail.
King pulled out a small knife from his waist and stuck it into the tail of the black python. The black python in pain hissed loudly while wagging its tail violently but was unsuccessful in making King release his handrails.
