CHAPTER 44. Specialty cauldrons

***IN THE HORSE CAR***

The fishy smell of blood spread within the horse carriage within a short period of time.  Zhong Li aka King stared at the severed head of the horseman and was under his feet.

"You died because of me! I'll give you a meal for your family" King said.

Meanwhile A Tu was still unconscious on the floor of the horse carriage. King was sure A Tu could get up on his own from his stupor for a while longer so King just let A Tu lie on the floor of the horse carriage.

Now King wants to know more about what's going on outside the horse-drawn carriage . The horse carriage window that A Tu had opened earlier, was the only place to see things outside.

King walked up to the window of the horse-drawn carriage to peek . King's right hand held the belt on the back of the belt, where his little knife was inserted just in case there was a surprise attack from the window like that.

Out there, the rain is still pouring down. It appears Xena is slaughtering one by one assassins with a new sword, a gift from King. Hercules is right behind Xena . Hercules uses the cauldron in his hand to hit the head, face, or body parts of the assassin who wants to attack Xena from behind.

The hitmen numbering around ten people were wearing all-black clothes . Their average faces looked cruel and cruel. But some of them looked funny in King's eyes because there were bumps on the head as well as bruises on their cheeks and noses due to blows from the cauldron Hercules was holding.

King was amazed by the special cauldron held by Hercules. The cauldron was not a dent at all despite being repeatedly bumped into a hitman. The combination of powerful Hercules energy with a special cauldron could overwhelm the hitmen.

The king who still had to maintain his acting as a blind man, sat quietly inside the horse carriage while holding the burlap bag he bought from the blacksmiths' craftsmen.

Two small bags were in his hands. Both of those small bags contained walnuts. It was Hercules who prepared him for provisions during the trip to the Kunlun Mountains.

King is convinced the hitmen will attempt to get into the horse-drawn carriage to kill him and that is when he can get into action.

A few moments later the horse carriage door opened . A hitman climbed onto the horse carriage and approached the King who was sitting quietly with a blank eye.

The assassin grinned and prepared to draw his sword into the King's chest. The assassin was confident that he could kill the blind young man before him easily.

When the assassin's sword nearly touched King's chest, King grabbed his wrist tightly and twisted it with the martial art of krav maga .

There was a loud sound of a broken bone. In the blink of an eye, the assassin's arm was broken.

"ARGH!!!"  The mercenary was rolling around on the floor of the horse carriage while holding his right arm.

The screams of the assassin made two of his accomplices who were near the horse carriage ride into the horse carriage.

"Xiang Ke's! Why yell?" ask one of the plotters to the hit man sitting on the floor holding his arm.

Cold sweat splashed on Xiang Ke's forehead. The excruciating pain made him unable to utter a word.Xiang Ke could only point towards King with his left index finger.

King smiled faintly at the disparaging words from the other assassins. King took a handful of walnuts from that small bag .

"HA HA HA! Besides being blind, it turns out to be stupid too! Life is about to drift, still appetite!"

The two hitmen instantly unsheathed their swords towards the King.

King throws walnuts at them. It looks like King's throwing style was careless but actually King threw in a sensitive body part so that the two assassins could not get close to King.

"Young master Zhong Li!"

Xena and Hercules got into the chariot  . The two of them heaved a sigh of relief seeing King still sitting quietly without being injured in the slightest and walnuts strewn across the floor of the horse carriage.

The mercenary who was inside the horse carriage was aware of his accomplice who was outside, had already been defeated by Hercules and Xena since they could both ride inside the horse carriage.

"Damn! There are only three of us! Attack!" yelled one of the hit men.

Xiang Ke was forced to fight with the sword in his left hand because his right arm was broken.

The observant-eyed Xena knew Xiang Ke was the easiest opponent so had Hercules fight Xiang Ke with a special cauldron. While Xena herself fights two other hitmen.
