Salat sunnah is a prayer that can be done either not, not fardhu. When done to gain merit and good, if not done it does not get sin.

✓Salat Wudhu's

Before we pray, we must first do ablution. Salat wudhu is a sunnah prayer that we can do after doing ablution, before we perform prayer (the prayer that we actually want to do, for example; we want to pray Fajr).

✓Salat Tahiyatul Mosque

Intention of Salat Sunnah Tahiyatul Masjid

Done as much as two raka’at, its implementation as other sunnat prayers, only different in the lafaz of his intentions. The intention of praying Tahiyatul Masjid is;

“Ushalli sunnata tahiyyatal masjidi rak’ataini lillaahi ta’aala. Allaahu akbar.”, which means “I intend to pray Tahiyyat Masjid two raka’at because Allah Ta’ala. Allahu Akbar”.

✓ Salad Dhuha

Is a sunnah prayer that is done at around 7 am, the time when the sun rises or rises about 7 cubits until it feels hot before Dzuhur. It is best done in the second quarter of the day or around 9 am. Can be done alone or in congregation.

Intention

“Ushallii sunnatadh-dhuhaa rak’ataini lillaahi ta’aalaa. Allaahu akbar.” which means: “I intention to pray sunnat Dhuha two raka’at because Allah Ta’ala. Allah is Great.”

✓Salat Rawatib's

Rawatib prayer is a sunnah prayer that is usually done before or after obligatory prayer. In total there are 22 raka’at, with details as follows:

Fajr prayers: 2 raka’at before (qabliyah) and no prayers afterward (ba’diyah).

Prayer Dzuhur: 2 raka’at qabliyah, 2 or 4 raka’diyah.

Ashar prayers: 2 raka’at qabliyah, no ba’diyah.

Maghrib prayers: no qabliyah, 2 raka’diyah ba.

Salah ‘Isya: 2 raka’at qabliyah, 2 raka’diyah.

The Way of Prayer Rawatib

How to do the Rawatib prayer is the same as the usual prayer, just different from the intention. The implementation is not in conjunction with the Adhan or Iqamah, and is done alone.

Prayer Intention Rawatib 2 raka’at before Prayer Dzuhur:

“Ushalli sunnatazh zhuhri rak’ataini qabliyatan lillaahi ta’aala.” which means: “I intention to pray sunnat before dzuhur 2 raka’at because Allah Ta’ala.”

Prayer Intention Rawatib 2 raka’at after Prayer Dzuhur:

“Ushalli sunnatazh zhuhri rack’ataini ba’diyatan lillaahi ta’aala.” which means: “I intention to pray sunnat after dzuhur 2 raka’at because Allah Ta’ala.”

Tahajud prayer is a sunnah prayer performed at night. Worked in units of 2 raka’at for one greeting. Worked if you have awakened from sleep and have done ‘Isya prayer.

Performed at the beginning of the night between the time ‘Isya until about 10 pm (the first third of the night), or done at midnight, or done at midnight, between 10 and 1 am (second third of the night), and especially when done at the end of the night, between 1 am to before the morning prayer (third of the end of the night).

Do the same as we do our usual prayers. The amount of raka’atnya roka’at at least 2 times roka’at for 2 times salam and there is no maximum number of raka’at because it is done as much as we can do.

His intention;

“Ushallii sunnatat tahajudi rack’ataini lillaahi ta’aalaa.” That is, “I intention to pray circumcision tahajud two raka’at, because Allah Ta’ala.”

✓ Prayers Istikharah

Istikharah prayer is done with the aim of obtaining guidance from Allah SWT, especially in a state of confusion or hesitation in choosing one decision among many choices. Can be done at any time (day or night) and can be done alone. Very main if done in time like Tahajud prayer because God willing at that hour we can be more solemn’.

Istikharah prayers are done as much as 2 raka’at.

Intention

“Ushalli sunnatal istikhaarati rak’ataini lillaahi ta’aaa.” which means: “I intention to pray sunna isikharah dua raka’at because Allah Ta’ala.”

Prayer After Istikharah Prayer

“Allaahumma inni astakhiiruka bi’ilmika wa astaqdiruka biqudratika wa as aluka min fadhlikal ‘adzhiimi. Fainnaka taqdiru walaa aqdiru walaa a’lamu wa anta ‘al-laamulghuyuubi. Allaahumma inkunta ta’lamu anna haadzal amra khairun lii fii dinii wama’aasyii faqdurhu lii wa yassirhu lii tsumma baariklii fiihi wa inkunta ta’lamu anna haadzal amra syarrun lii fii diinii wa ma’aasyii wa ‘aaqibati amrii wa ‘aajilihi fashrifhu ‘annii washrifnii ‘anhu waqdurlil khaira haitsu kaana tsumma radh-dhinii bihi.”

Meaning:

“O Allah, that I ask You to choose Yourself with Your knowledge, and ask Your assurance with Your power, and ask You of Your Greatest Grace, for You are the One in power, and I am without power, and You are the All-Knowing, and I know not, and You are the One who knows the great. O Allah, if it is, You know that this affair ... (name of the business in question) is good for me, for my world, my hereafter, my livelihood, and the consequences of my affairs for the present and tomorrow, he said, so give me strength and make it easy for me, and then bless me in that business. But if it is, you know that it is ..... (name the matter in question) bad for me, for my world, my hereafter, my life, and consequently my problems in the present and tomorrow, he said, so spare me from him, and set me to good, however I may be, and then delight me with that good.”

✓ Prayers Hajat

If we have the intention, purpose, need, and hope that what we want can be granted by Allah SWT then we can do the prayer of circumcision to ask God for a deed, namely the Prayer of Hajat. This prayer is not only limited to our desires but can also be for human relations.

In other words, the easiest and fastest way to complain to Allah SWT is through the Hajat prayer. It can be done at any time, as long as it is not at a prohibited time, for example after dawn prayers. The main thing was done at night, in the last third of the night.

Hajad prayers are performed at least 2 raka’at and at most 12 raka’at with a one-time greeting every 2 raka’at.

Intention

“Ushallii sunnatal haajati rack’aataini lillaahi ta’aala.” which means: “I intend to pray hajat sunah hajat two raka’at because Allah Ta’ala.”

Finish praying and praying, then we ask God what we want (which is presented).

This circumcision prayer is done with the aim to ask for forgiveness for the presence of Allah SWT for sin (or feeling sinful) and then realize that what he has done is wrong so it must ask for forgiveness to Allah SWT and intend not to make that mistake again. Minimal done 2 raka’at, and maximum done 4-6 raka’at with a one-time greeting provision every 2 raka’at.

Intention

“Ushalli Sunnatat Taubati Rak’ataini Lillaahi Ta’aalaa. Allaahu Akbar’ ”. which means: “I intention Prayer Sunah Taubat two Raka’at because Alloh Ta’ala, Allah is Great.”

✓ Salad Eclipse

This prayer is done during an eclipse, both a solar eclipse and a lunar eclipse and performed by two raka’at. Working time is starting from the occurrence of lunar eclipse/sun eclipse, until the moon rises again (appears intact) or until the sun is seen again.

The eclipse prayer is called kusuf prayer, while the eclipse prayer is called kusuf prayer. Eclipse prayers are performed for the purpose of worship, especially because eclipses are rare.

There are two opinions on how to perform this eclipse circumcision prayer. The first opinion, there are scholars who say that the way the process is the same as the sunnat prayer is usually a one-time salam every last 2 raka’at.

While the second opinion states that the workmanship is different, namely; done with 2 raka’at with each raka’at there are 2 times ruku’ and 2 times prostration. The second opinion is the more chosen by scholars (majority).

Intention

The intention of praying the lunar eclipse

“Ushallii Sunnatal Khusufil-Qomari Rak’ataini Lillahi Ta’alaa “ which means: “I intend to do the sunnah prayer Lunar Eclipse two rakaat because Allah Ta’ala.”

Prayer intention of solar eclipse

“Ushallii Sunnatal Kusuufis-Syamsi Rak’a Lillahi Ta’alaa.” which means: “I intend to do the sunnah prayer Solar Eclipse two rakaat because Allah Ta’ala.”

✓ Salad Tassbih

Tasbih prayer is a sunnah prayer that is highly recommended by Rasullullah SAW, if possible, done every day, once a week, once a month, once a year, even once in a lifetime. Called prayer tasbih because in 4 raka’at contains a reading of 300 times tasbih.

Tasbih prayers are done 4 raka’at; if done during the day it is enough with one greeting, if done at night with two greetings (two raka’at for one greeting).

Intention

“Ushallii sunnatat-tasbihi rack’ataini lillahi ta’aalaa. Allahu Akbar.” which means: “I intention to pray tasbih circumcision two raka’at because Allah Ta’ala. Allah is Great.”

This intention is pronounced for the prayer of Tasbih which is two greetings.
