Allah SWT expressly forbids suicide. The prohibition is mentioned, among others, in Surah an-Nisa’ verse 29 which means, “Do not kill yourself, verily Allah is Most Merciful to you.” This is as stated in surah an-Nisa’ verse 30.

When a person gets the trials of a very severe life problem and does not find a way out, then he will be struck by despair.
If the sense of it has perched in the soul of a person thus, he feels that his life is no longer meaningful.
Many take shortcuts by doing a very stupid action that is to end his life.
They assume, death is the best choice to end all the problems and suffering of life experienced.
Whatever the reason and the way to end his legal life is shirk. Shirkers will not be forgiven by Allah, and will be tormented in the fires of hell. Ending life by drinking poison, hanging, freefalling, self-harm, or by bomb and so on is the same as the law.
Allah SWT said, “Verily Allah does not forgive the sin of associating (something) with Him, and He forgives sins other than shirk for whom He wills. Whoever associates (something) with Allah, then he has indeed strayed far,” (QS. an-Nisa: 116).
Ending life is not a solution to the problems we face.
If the depression in dealing with the problems of this world hits us, then convince ourselves that God is always with us. He will not let His servant be in trouble.
God will not give tests beyond our ability. And there will always be a way in every problem, and there will be ease in every difficulty. Just have to be patient, trust and effort*.
Therefore, the attention of the closest family, friends and true friends is very important to avoid this happening to the possibility of everyone.
People who are depressed must feel that there is no longer anyone in the world who can help him get out of the circle of problems he is facing.
