This time the Author wants to discuss about Nisfu Syaban night a little ya-
before we move on to the story of Khansa and Ramadan.
This year, the night of Nisfu Shaban 1142 H falls on Sunday, March 28, 2021 or another day on March 29, 2021
Nisfu Shaban is a commemoration on the 15th month of Shaban or often referred to as the night of forgiveness of sins.
IAIN Surakarta lecturer Sulhani Hermawan said, Nisfu Syaban night is a special night that falls in the middle of the month of Syaban.
On the night of Nisfu Shaban, Muslims and Muslims believe that two angels who record human daily practices, namely Raqib and Atid, submit a record of human practice to Allah SWT.
Therefore, all Muslims are asked to multiply prayers to Allah, ask for forgiveness, read the Quran, to recite prayers at night Nisfu Shaban.
The Nisfu Syaban night prayer can be read after Yasin's letter.
on the night of Nisfu Shaban or more precisely after the Maghrib prayer, we can read the Letter of Yasin three times.
The first intention of reading the Epistle of Yasin was to ask God for longevity.
Then, the second intention asked Allah SWT to be given salvation, kept away from any danger. Then, the third intention to be given the wealth of the heart.
Another practice that can be done is to fast especially in the month of Shaban in which it occurs the night of Nisfu Shaban.
Here is the intention of the Syaban Fasting
نَوَيْتُ صَوْمَ غَدٍ عَنْ أَدَاءِ سُنَّةِ شَعْبَانَ لِلهِ تَعَالَى
Nawaitu shauma ghadin'an ada'I sunnati Sya'bana lillahi ta'ala
Meaning: I intend to fast the Sunnah of Shaban tomorrow because of Allah
Right on the night of Nisfu Syaban, the Muslims remember as the night of the change of the direction of Qibla from Masjidil Aqsa towards Ka’bah.
Shaban is a glorious month that is often forgotten.
Prophet Muhammad SAW said: “Shan's month is located between the month of Rajab and the month of Ramadan, where many people are negligent with the priority of the month. In that month will be brought up the deeds of a servant to Allah. And I want my practice to be lifted in a fasted state.”
Expanding Fasting in the Month of Sacrifice is also highly recommended.
Shaban is the month in which the Prophet Muhammad SAW increased fasting, as in the above mentioned history, when the Companion of the Prophet named Sayyidina Usamah bin Zaid RA. asked the Prophet SAW: “I have never seen thee O Messenger of Allah increase fasting as when you fast in this month”. Then the Prophet Muhammad SAW replied: “This month is the month in which the practice of all servants was raised, and I want my practice to be lifted in my state of fasting”.
