THE STORY OF NOAH

Noah was the 9th descendant of Adam Alaihissalam. The people of Noah who were in existence at that time were very far off from the way of God. They denied the favors that God had always bestowed on them. The people of Noah worshiped statues that they regarded as gods. They imitate their fathers and assume that the act must be true.

                Satan again succeeded in making the people of Noah very far off in obedience to Allah. Believing and worshipping Allah they no longer know. And the devil was glad that someone accompanied him to become the inhabitant of Hell.

                Noah, freed from all forms of the idiosyncrasies of his people, broke away from the worship of these artificial statues. God then made Noah the successor to the prophetic treatise. Noah Alaihiss found some guidance and Allah cleared the faith of his people to worship only Allah.

                At that time, every human being had a long life. Noah became a prophet and an apostle at the age of 480. Throughout his age, the Prophet Noah Alaihissalam preached and called tirelessly. Not only to the people around him but the main thing to his own family members. The wife of the Prophet Noah Alaihissalam and his son Kan’an, affected the situation and followed the disobedience to Allah.

For a long time Noah preached, but only a small part of his people would listen and believe his teachings. The followers of the Prophet Noah Alaihissalam consisted only of ordinary people, not distinguished and wealthy people. The unbelieving people of Noah did not like to be near and with them. They considered that their degrees were better than that of Noah and his followers.

                To the disobedient, Noah Alaihissalam was a common man who had no advantage whatsoever. That is the reason they used to disobey the teachings brought by Noah Alaihissalam. The leaders of the disbelievers then said they would willingly follow Noah Alaihissalam on the condition that his followers, made up of despised people, be abandoned or abandoned and expelled. Of course, Noah rejected this, The leaders of the infidels were upset and challenged Noah Alaihissalam. If their disobedience to Allah will bring a great punishment, then they ask Noah to hasten the coming of the punishment.

                Noah was instructed by Allah to build a great ark on the top of the hill. The ark was then worked together with his followers. The construction of the ark took a long time. Noah Alaihissalam tested his patience against his people who saw his work as the work of a madman.

                Noah Alaihissalam then prayed to Allah. He prayed that God would not allow any of the disbelieving peoples and leaders to remain on Earth. If left alive, later they will cause many people to become lost and always do mischief.

                The earth was then ordered to emit water from within its stomach. From the sky it rained. The Prophet Noah Alaihissalam filled the ark with animals and birds. The people of Noah, who were watching, were astonished. Various types of animals came to the ark of Noah Alaihissalam and all the animals entered in pairs. No one type is missed. The large ark was loaded with all the contents that had entered it.

                Meanwhile, the rain continues to fall with a heavy rain.There is a stop the earth and the sky let out abundant water. The people of Noah knew that their dwelling place would soon be filled with water. Because of their arrogance, the incident was not a punishment as the Prophet Noah Alaihissalam threatened. They just go to the high ground. As did Nabi's son Noah Alahissalam named Kan’aan. He who has disbelieved will not believe and listen to his father's warning.

                When the waters were high, the ark of Noah Alaihissalam was lifted. All those who were in the ark prayed to Allah for saving them from the unjust. They also asked God to give them a blessed place because God best gave them a place.

                Noah Alaihissalam saw Kan’aan, his son was floating in the sea of flooding. As a father, he felt pity and pity, He wanted his son to be among the saved. Noah Alaihissalam himself was rebuked for his attitude, and then he realized it and asked Allah for forgiveness. Anyone that day, no one was able to save themselves from the flood and the great flood that struck. Only Noah Alaihissalam and his followers survived because they all believed and obeyed God. The people of Noah, including the wife of Noah Alaihissalam and his son Kan’an, were rewarded for their disbelief.

Nuh Alaihissalam was an apostle of his followers. The life of humans on Earth at that time began again from the Prophet Noah Alaihissalam and his followers or he called also the second human generation after the generation of Prophet Adam Alaihissalam. After a long time in the sea of water, God then ordered the earth and the sky to dry the water. At one place, the ark of Noah Alaihissalam anchored because the water began to recede. The Prophet Noah Alaihissalam and his followers then gave thanks and glorified the name of Allah. They are grateful that they have found help and salvation. How happy they are because they are now the successors of the next human life.

                Noah Alaihssalam with his followers and all the living things that were in the ark and came out. They chose a place and built a new place. Noah Alaihissalam with his other wife and three children of faith named Sam, Jafith, and Ham, also together built a new residence.

                Noah Alaihissalam continued to instill monotheistic teachings and reminded to always obey God. To those who do not believe and disobey Allah, the judgment is that they will be punished. Counted Noah Alaihissalam preached 5 centuries to the generation of mankind at that time. His age was a thousand years less than fifty years. The descendants of the sons of Noah Alaihissalam had also spread out in search of a new abode. From ‘Ibn Abbas is told, Sam demoted the white people, Yafith lowered the red and brown people, while Ham descended the black people and a small number of white people.
