Prophet's Story

Prophet's Story
The story of the prophet Idris USA

The story of the Prophet Idris ‘Alaihissalam is a story loaded with warnings for Muslims. As a man of choice, he has been given the opportunity by God to feel death, see heaven, and see hell. An experience that will surely make the Roman feather shudder. How not? Death and hell are usually feared by humans, it turns out they want to be felt alone by the Prophet Idris. With these experiences, God gave the Prophet Idris the task of inviting all men to walk the path of truth. Idris' name was given because he loved to learn. His ability to various sciences is very high, such as astrology, reading natural phenomena, counting, caring for horses, sewing clothes, and so on. He is also known as “Asadul Usud” which means lion, because he was never afraid and desperate when carrying out his duties as a Prophet. He is also very friendly, forgiving, and not arrogant. To find out more about the Prophet Idris As., as well as the journey during his life, here is the full story.

The Prophet Idris and the Angel Izroil

As a prophet who had the duty of God to invite mankind to do good, he was close friends with several angels, including the angel Izroil, the lifethrower. One time, the angel Izroil asked Allah for permission to visit the Prophet Idris because he felt very sorry for him. After getting permission, the angel came to the Prophet Idris disguised as a man carrying a lot of fruits. The prophet Idris was astonished when the man refused to eat with the fruits he was carrying. But, his astonishment he brimmed and invited the guest to take a walk. For four days they were together and getting closer. Over time, the Prophet Idris felt suspicious of his guest and asked about his true identity. Finally, the man claimed to be the Angel Izroil, the Prophet Idris' own friend.

Knowing this, the Prophet Idris was surprised. He asked if the angel was going to take his life or just visit. Upon hearing that the angel only wanted to visit him, the Prophet Idris was slightly relieved. However, he again wondered, how the angel carried out his duty as a lifemaker if for four days together with him. Apparently, even with the Prophet Idris for four days, the angel Izroil can still carry out his duties as a lifemaker. To the angel, taking a life is like eating a meal every day. The Prophet Idris' curiosity about death grew until he asked the angel to take his life. He wanted to feel for himself the sakaratul death. That way, he is not just nonsense when preaching when telling about death that he has never felt. With the permission of Allah, Idris' request was granted. Before long, with the permission of Allah as well, the Prophet Idris was revived.

As soon as he came back to life, the Prophet Idris cried. When asked by the angel Izroil what it was like to be sad for death, the Prophet Idris overcame the pain. It felt like a beast being skinned alive and dying was more painful than it was. In fact, according to the Angel Izroil, he had never taken a human life as slow and as careful as taking the life of the Prophet Idris. After that, the Prophet Idris was more eager to invite people to the path of goodness. His experience in feeling the saccharatul of death he told while preaching so that every human being prepares himself as well as possible. To do all the good in the world and to stay away from the prohibition of God is the only way to make death feel lighter. Despite receiving scorn and ridicule from others, the Prophet Idris remained unyielding to continue to lead men to goodness.

Idris Sees Heaven and Hell

On another occasion, when the Prophet Idris and the Angel Izroil were worshipping together, the Prophet Idris asked the angel to take him to hell. The request is quite strange that certainly makes the Angel Izroil gamang. He said that no one, not even angels, dared to see hell. However, with God's permission, the angel Izroil then took the prophet to hell first. However, just as they were approaching hell, the Prophet Idris suddenly collapsed upon seeing the Angel Malik, the guardian of hell. This angel has a very scary figure. Not to mention the terrible scene when the angel drags and tortures people who disobey God all his life. The fire also raged very large to burn the human bodies to melt. The roar of fire seemed to signal how hot the fire was.

There is no more terrifying scene in this world than the one in hell. Unable to see any longer, the Prophet Idris asked the Angel Izroil to take him away. The body of the Prophet Idris became limp as it left hell. But his faith grew stronger in God. The Prophet Idris then asked the Angel Izroil to see heaven. By Allah's permission, the prophet Idris was also welcome to enter heaven. In this place, Idris fainted again. However, not out of fear, but his amazement saw the incredible charm of heaven. Clear river, shady trees with the fruit of gold, also magnificent palaces plastered in front of the eyes. Not to mention the existence of an angel who is ready to serve every inhabitant of heaven. This sight certainly makes the prophet feel at home. In fact, he became reluctant to be invited back to earth by the Angel Izroil. By Allah's permission, the Prophet Idris was finally invited to inhabit the paradise. Allah says that the Prophet Idris was one of his heavenly masters.
