“No way...” said Robin dumbfounded. Marc speechless. However, his brain re-wound every memory. He knows, Maximilien is a bloodsucking demon. Just like her. And that, never changed.
Marc knows very well, how a Maximilien. Marc felt that nothing had changed from his best friend. She and Max have been together for a long time. They had a very long life, as a legitimate guard of the Underwall.
“I know why your old friend suddenly disappeared. But... instead of me explaining, later you do not focus. Now, forget that thought and focus. Cower!” said Raven who suddenly shouted. Apparently, the demon attacks were unrelenting. The journey to the library to pick up Reine, too, should get a bit of a hitch.
“I think, want anyone. Whether it's Max or Commander, I really don't care for the moment. Underwall is more important than anything. But, thank you for telling” respond Marc. “Raven. He said his name was given specifically by the Death Hunter Leader” Robin said. Marc stared at Robin with a somewhat shocked expression.
“The story is long and rather annoying” said Raven reluctantly. “Although so, he is a good person, isn't he?” said Marc. Raven simply responded with a long sigh. At full speed, Raven braved every obstacle that lay before her.
Though a bit messy and shaken up on the passenger bench, Raven doesn't seem to care. Well, as long as the passenger doesn't fall or disappear from his back. He's just too focused, for fear of Gray's threat.
Gray is really very evil.
“I'll stand guard in front. You go to the library and pick up Reine. We don't have time. Underwall, may soon be destroyed” Raven's orders. Marc and Robin rush into the library. Their job is long.
“Rein!” call Marc and Robin together. In fact, they opened the library doors simultaneously. “Do not approach!” exclaim Reine from inside. Shocked not playing, it turns out Robin and Marc are still losing fast. They, are late.
Luc, been there. Sit down and read a book. Meanwhile, the two demons seemed to be holding tightly onto Reine's shoulder. The woman is trapped. His back, stuck with the bookshelf in the back.
“True, don't come near. Or you guys.. will turn into abu” threatened Luc while closing the reading. He was seen standing with his Death-Grey sword drawn towards Robin and Marc. “I just remembered, you guys are both demons. So of course, Death Ash can make you destroyed instantly” he continued.
Robin looked angry. He was completely in disbelief, as an Underwall guard, Luc was able to be possessed just like that by demons. “Try it, if you can” reply back. Right now, only Reine's safety matters. He doesn't care, he'll be ashes or whatever.
Without hesitation, Luc ran to attack Marc. Robin did not remain silent. He immediately repelled the attack from Luc with his sword. “Free Reine. He is the most important” whispered Robin towards Marc who was behind him. “We will protect him equally, Rob” replied Marc while taking out his trademark weapon, a spear.
Marc immediately pulled out his spear towards Luc. The event, really only a split second. And almost, Luc was hit by a spear that had been covered in ash. Naturally, because Marc's job was a Hunter, then all his weapons had been smeared with the Ash of Death. Right now, Marc was dealing with a top-tier demon who was threatening him with the same power.
Ash Death.
Instead of just attacking Luc, Robin seeks an opportunity to free Reine. Luc who is still focused on avoiding the spear of Marc, a small opportunity used by Robin as much as possible. He attacks towards the demon that ensnared Reine's freedom.
Robin threw his sword towards the two demon guards. However, Robin's sword immediately slid back towards the owner. Fortunately, Robin managed to dodge the attack from his own sword.
“You won't be able to fight us. Because, every attack you make, everything will come back to you again. Too bad...” said one of the demons bragging. And the other one seemed to be laughing with satisfaction. Being told that, Robin immediately turned the brain.
Every demon, always had a powerful special power. Just like us. Even so, among those great strengths, there must be a weakness that could be penetrated. Say, I may be a fly-man, but I'm not good at organizing. Therefore, I always fail to attack a target while flying, Robin thought. He seemed to be fully concentrated. As he continued to attack and take cover from his always-turned-attack, Robin thought of some plan.
When he thought of an idea, Robin was even off guard. The little knife he had just thrown, immediately turned around. Unfortunately, Robin did not get to avoid it. The energy, too, is weakening. He fell.
“No!” pekik Reine's. He immediately stretched his hand forward. Instantly, a bubble-shaped shield protected Robin from attack. Realizing that, Robin was shocked and also, a little relieved. His life was saved again.
“You okay?” ask Reine worriedly. “Thank you” Robin said as she got back up slowly. “Taste this, stupid!” the two demons shouted. They were angry, because Robin was not defeated. They attacked Robin, this time not with the force of the reverser.
“Awas!” pekik Reine panicked. Although his shoulders were no longer choked by the demons, his body was still unable to move. Perhaps, he had been exposed to the influence of a special magic from the black magician, which had been taught to the demons of his followers.
Realizing Reine's cry, Robin spontaneously ran towards the mirror with a length the size of her, which was not far to the left. He took cover behind the mirror in hopes that his plan would work. The attack was truly devastating, as it came from the power of two demons that had been gathered at once.
As the attack glided, Robin had been behind the mirror. With a split second, the mirror seemed to reverse the demon's attack. They, vanished were consumed by their own power. And Robin, got away.
Reine seemed to sigh in relief. Robin hastily releases Reine. "You're great!" puji Reine is proud. "Whatever we are, we must still have flaws, right?" robin followed his smile. Reine seemed to agree.
Unfortunately, Robin forgot one thing. An attack, right on Robin's right shoulder. The man, who was known for his warm smile, had to droop in front of Reine.
Robin was unconscious. And Luc, the man in charge of it. He threw his gray-robed sword at Robin, instead of at Marc who had always shied away.
Marc looked at Robin. Seeing his partner unconscious, he became angry. All this time, he was the calmest person. He always waited for the right moment to attack.
Unfortunately, Marc had to lose the title this time. Robin had fallen before him. Blindly, Marc attacks Luc. It's so brutal that Luc is a little defeated. However, the man who now even betrayed it, seems very satisfied because it managed to make Marc angry.
“By Heaven, I won't forgive you!” exclaim Marc firmly. “It's an honor to be able to fight a weak Death Hunter, like you” Luc replied following his condescending grin. This fight started very, very fiercely.
While not far from there, Reine tried to release the magic that made him choked. “Anyone, please.. please let go of me..” pinta Reine. He must protect Robin, who is unconscious in front of him.
Pl-please...
