The Ancient Village Medicine Hall, the Village Chief stopped in front of a wooden door. “Mr Berger, it's here. I will show you his room” said the Village Chief. Marc seemed to reply with a nod, like a resolute and wise King.
Judging from the way the two people spoke, it seemed like both the Village Chief, as well as Marc they had come to know each other. In fact, both of them are like a friend who despite speaking formally, the eyes of both of them still look warm. The village chief also had great respect for Marc. Naturally, because the Deval clan is the highest leader in the demon world. They were the strongest clan and always won the war.
Reine was the last person in the Medicine Hall. At every step, he was always careful. Being outside the Underwall, especially in the middle of a remote village surrounded by forests, Reine did have to prepare for the worst possible event.
The village chief showed Marc, Robin and Reine a room. When the door was opened by the Village Chief, a wooden bed was there. Unfortunately, no patients lived in the bed.
The village chief was shocked. Not only the Village Chief, but the three of them as well. “Not anymore..” complained Village Chief pitched hard. “Oh, no. He's probably around here somewhere. I'll find her soon enough. You and Reine, you better wait here” Robin said. “How many times have I ordered someone to look after him. Assistant! Assistant Physician! Where are you guys?” exclaimed the Village Chief as he stepped towards the entrance with one hand holding his head. He looked dizzy after seeing this.
“Why? What happened?” marc was confused. “Mr Berger, she always refuses to be cared for. Therefore, he always runs away when there is a chance to do it” Robin explained. “He must be around here, right? I'll look for him too. We better split up. Rein, you stay here” Marc's orders. Robin seemed to approve.
“I'll go to look for him also” responded Reine, who was then seen stepping out of the Medicine Hall. Although Marc repeatedly prevented his departure, Reine still came out without saying a word. He's not fighting.
Reine didn't really do the search. He just walked lightly here and there, with no clear intention. In fact, he looked like a tourist taking a walk.
Regarding that, it is certainly not a surprising thing. Her father had left Reine a long time ago. And when the news appeared, his father was already lying helplessly on the bed of the Medicine Hall.
“Funny, right? Why would I bother to go here, just to see someone who no longer wants to see me? Make what?” reine said somewhat annoyed. Shortly after, someone seemed to be walking to him. “You may not see it. But, it would be better if you saw it, wouldn't it? We cannot know the age of a person. Before things get too late, wouldn't it be better to meet him now?” robin tried to mediate.
Since then, Reine knew that Robin was walking nearby. However, as Robin still feels guilty, she decides to shut up and watch over Reine from afar. She was afraid that Reine would get even more upset with her. Not to mention, the problem with Adrien.
“Even to its lowest point, the man still did not want to meet me. The proof, he ran away. Right, right?”
“Rein, I know how you feel. Someone told me about your past. I'm not trying to interfere or anything. But... in my opinion, this is a good time to avenge”
“Revenge? You mean, I gotta get out of here and not come see him?”
“Not, not that. If you intend to do so, not revenge his name. The actions you think will make your father happy. Instead of feeling avenged, for all his deeds”
“You act like you've been planning something. If your plan is bad, I won't forgive you forever”
Hearing the threat from Reine, Robin let out a long sigh. He looked down again, although the two were still walking together. “I must ask forgiveness from you, but right now your father is still more important than our problem. So I guess, I'll say everything when the problem with your father is done” he explained long. “You who? The umpire? Why are you trying to mediate between me and dad?” tanya Reine pierces.
Actually, he's not angry. Only, Reine was in a bad mood. So, his mouth suddenly was a bit rough.
“So, what should I do to avenge my anger on dad?” reine went back to the topic. “Not an idea that is too complex anyway, but maybe this idea you can think of twice” Robin said. “I listened” said Reine seriously.
“Come to your father”
“Wait a minute. I haven't finished”
“Then, don't pitched like, you're ending the conversation”
“Alright, sorry. So look at him. Wh why? Please think about it, all this time he always left you. He never saw you at all, did he?”
“Hm, then?”
“You know why your father suddenly ran away today? Actually, it's not the first time. Just so, your father's hazy drama happened, after the Village Chief tried to contact you. But, since the Village Chief assumed that, you are in the human world, there is no way to make you come. Meanwhile, your father's condition is getting worse and worse. Then, I went back to the village.” “You didn't tell me that” cut Reine. “What?” robin sounded confused. “Your hometown. I often wonder, I think, we're close. But why... You never told me anything? I've been in the Underwall long enough, but I still never knew anything about the four of you. Only you know about me. Everything was. It seems we are not close. I just wanted to say that. Continue” revealed Reine Long.
“Not that, I mean.” regrets Robin's guilt. “Oke, no problem. Continue” response Reine welcomes. Robin seems to be trying to apologize, but Reine always rejects that and continues to insist that Robin continue his conversation about the idea.
“Then I went back to the village. I met the Village Chief and he, moaning about Reine Dallaire. So, I decided to tell her, that you were in Underwall. I didn't tell you the details, I just said, you were there. After hearing that, the Village Chief informed your father. And shortly after, your father always ran away from his room in the care. And maybe, he was there again” Robin continued. “To where? You know, where did he go?” ask Reine not to think. “Sure, I'm subscribed anyway. Can I go there?” answer Robin.
Without saying a word, Reine stepped ahead of Robin. Feeling Reine agree to her offer, she immediately points the way. Actually, not far. Just a few minutes from the Medicine Hall.
There's a hill there. The wind that blows too, feels comfortable and cool. If Luc had been here, that big bear-like man would have been asleep in his sleep. Luc is the only bloodsucking demon whose hobby is sleeping. In fact, the average demon of its kind, never sleeps for hours. Not like Luc did.
“If only, Luc was here. He must have drooled from earlier” said Reine amazed. “This place is really beautiful, isn't it? You can see it from here. There are some trees across from it. The tree looked like it was clustered across it. Can you see?” robin said, pointing to a tree that was crammed into each other, right across from them. “I see” replied Reine.
“Your father, it's on one of those trees. Can you see it?”
“Too small, I can't see it clearly”
“The first tree from the right side of us”
“Oh, which it”
“Yes, that one. You see?”
Reine immediately nodded. Shortly after, he frowned. “The wind is so strong, why is he there? Stupid, can't he walk? You said he was in very bad shape. Why would he walk here?” tanyanya. “She uses a wheelchair” explains Robin. “Not making sense! The road to here is very steep. How can?” exclaim Reine wonder.
Robin stared at Reine, who was right next to him. “You think, if it could bring back memories of the past, would you still be on top of the bed? This hill is a witness to the story of Adrien Berger in the past. Precisely, when his small family trip..had started” Robin said. Reine and Robin's eyes meet again, for all time.
In those eyes, there was nothing more to doubt about him. As if, the look in his eyes had wiped away everything bad that had ever happened between them. It's not magic to hypnotize someone. However, a feeling that intertwined strongly from the beginning since fate discovered both.
