Rei opened the door to his apartment. The aroma of cooking was already smelled when he entered the living room area. He scrunched his forehead, it was rather surprising that the woman who now lived there was cooking. Although he rarely returned to the apartment, he knew very well if Gita always ate outside or ordered food through the delivery application.
"Mr Rei ...." Gita smiled widely aware of Rei's presence there.
"What's in the kitchen? You're not planning to burn down my apartment, are you?" Rei walked closer towards the kitchen.
Gita squealing. Though he had sacrificed his precious time after returning home from the office deliberately preparing dinner because Rei said he would come to the apartment. If he knew he would be underestimated, he would not waste his time cooking.
"Can you cook?" Rei peeked at the food Gita had just made at the dining table.
"No, Sir. I usually laugh." Gita brought her freshly made vegetable soup and placed it on the table carefully. He does not cook a lot of food, only vegetable chicken soup, parchment, fried shrimp, and tempe bacem. "Come, Sir. We'll eat together" he asked.
Rei first washed his hands before joining the dining table with Gita. Without asking, the woman picked up a plate and spooned rice for him. It was strange to be served by someone else. Even in his own home, he was never served a meal by a housekeeper. Instantly his brain wandered to imagine being served by his own wife.
Hurriedly he brushed off the no-no thoughts in his brain. He could imagine having a wife at home. Is he too lonely considering that most people around him are married while he is still single?
"Do you want me to get the side dishes?"
"No need. Let me be alone."
Gita placed a plate filled with rice in front of Rei. He took his own rice for him with side dishes as a complement. "Pak Rei doesn't like shrimp?" tanya Gita sees Rei just taking another side dish and skipping his homemade fried shrimp.
"I'm allergic to shrimp."
Gita. "I'm sorry, sir. I didn't know you were allergic to shrimp."
"It's okay. Your other dishes are good too."
Hearing Rei's praise made Gita smile to herself. He did not expect that the always fierce boss could say sweet to him.
"I've contacted a lawyer. Said he could help get the inheritance back from your father."
Gita stunned. "Sir, you don't have to go that far. Just got me out of there, I'm so grateful." He does not feel good himself much trouble his boss. Gita gets a free residence, a good job, even her living expenses have also been fulfilled.
"If you have earned your rights, no one will bother you anymore."
Rei smiled a smile. "I've been involved. The company that your stepmother led in the process of acquisition by my company. Looks like because your matchmaking failed, she lost her most important investor."
If you remember about it, Gita became furious. He was almost married to a man who was much older than him. "I support you, sir! Spirit until my stepmother falls poor." Gita becomes the main encouragement for Rei. "But cover me, sir. Afraid of being killed because Teresa was desperate," he said while grimacing.
"Hm, how much do I have to charge to pay for your life safety insurance?"
"Just cut my salary by 1% every month, sir." Despite being indebted, the Gita is still very calculated with money.
"Ck! It's a shame that Pradita Kusuma's son looks like a tough guy."
"I'm having a hard time, sir. All my possessions were robbed."
"Take it back, I'll help you get what's rightfully yours."
"Pak Rei why so good ... if I fall in love with the Father of responsibility, loh ...," said Gita in a flirtatious tone. He took Rei's dirty dishes and was taken to the dishwasher with him.
Rei just shook his head with the woman's strange behavior. He turned to the living room sofa turning on the television screen. Coincidentally the film that aired that night was his favorite horror thriller genre.
"Want a drink, sir? This is the juice given by Ririn, she said by her husband." Gita sat next to Rei thrusting a bottle of orange-colored drink. While watching, they enjoy a fresh drink freshly taken from the refrigerator.
"It feels kind of weird, yeah. Different from the usual orange juice flavor." Rei looked astonished at the drink which he thought had such a unique taste.
"The name's also a foreign voyage, sir. By-by the usual husband Ririn brought it feels really strange." Gita liked the drink Ririn gave her.
"Which expiration date? I suspect it's gone stale, it tastes like rotten oranges." Rei researched the bottle of the drink. There is no information written there. In fact, the brand name does not exist.
"Don't underestimate my friend, sir, there's no way he's giving you stale food. It's delicious, really." Gita finished her bottle in one gulp.
