"Om saying this isn't because I don't like you, Livy. Om know you're a good boy. Om is just giving advice because if you continue it, your life will be more complicated."
"Are you willing to renounce faith simply out of love for man?"
"People of different faiths cannot be called true partners. Their love is only in the world, not brought to death."
"Why is it like that, Om?" Ask Livy curious.
"Because their afterlife is different, they cannot be together there."
The words of Om Wijaya make perfect sense. The God they worship is different, meaning the Hereafter is not the same for them. They will only meet in the world, not unite in the hereafter.
Livy chose to leave because she felt that in their relationship there was no clarity and no future. Rei always said to just live it. However, their relationship is not always just dating. Even if you have to get married, who will use your trust? So, what is their next marriage? After having children, their children will be educated with which beliefs? Should he follow his father or mother?
If one of them would give in to the other's trust, would one of the families accept? That's not possible. The expected married life will provide happiness, it will present a variety of problems.
"Sister can't answer, right?"
Rei clenched his hand. He was confused as to what to answer. All this time he avoided discussing because he had not found the best solution.
"We'll just end this relationship."
Rei pulls Livy's body into his arms as if to reveal that he doesn't want to lose her. "Don't say that."
"Why do we survive in a relationship that has no future?" Livy stretched her heart out to not cry. Rei's embrace felt tight. The man no longer spoke. He just hugged her for a long time.
"Sir Rei ...." Livy tried to lure Rei into talking.
"I don't want to break up," Rei replied briefly.
"Then, Brother wants us how?"
Rei was silent again unable to answer.
"We both don't want to give up. Isn't it only natural that we give up?"
"I want to end this because I love you, brother. I want you to stay firm with your faith, as well as with me. Let us both return to the right path according to our beliefs." Livy let go of Rei's embrace. The man seemed shocked by the decision Livy made. Meanwhile, he could not make a firm decision.
"I must return home immediately before Oma gets angry again. If you want to come visit, come anytime. I still wish we could at least be friends."
Livy got up from her seat, leaving Rei who was bowed languidly in her place. Livy's tears came back. Along the coastal path that he explored accompanied by a sobbing that stuck. Livy was very sad, even his heart hurt. But behind his pain there is still relief. Finally he could end it well, without needing to run away again. The best way to solve a problem is to face it, not to leave it.
Rei grabbed Livy's nape, clenching those thin lips in one pagutan. The sadness felt made both of them drift in the remnants of love that was once felt. As if that would be the last moment, they kissed with a tumbling circle of tears. They had to separate because they loved each other.
"I'll take you home" said Rei.
Livy nodded as she extended a smile on her lips even though her tears were still flowing. The two joined hands, along the beach in the scorching sun. Until they get to where Rei parked his car. Rei returns to deliver Livy to Oma Maya's house.
"Be careful on the road, brother. Thank you for dropping off" Livy said when they reached the residence of Oma Maya.
"Yes. Thank you for meeting me. See you soon." Rei smiled and drove his car further away from Livy.
Livy sighed. Rei's car is out of sight. He rubbed his tears back down his cheeks.
"Livy, did she make you cry again?" ask Oma Maya when Livy walks into her house.
"Sorry, Oma. Livy wants to be alone first. When it's quiet, Livy's gonna tell me." Livy just passed her grandmother. He quickened his steps up the stairs to his room on the second floor.
Livy slammed her body on the bed and cried. He breathed out the sadness felt alone in the room. After avoiding the pain, he finally had to feel it. Again he remembered the beautiful memories that had been passed.

Rei was driving his car like a fickle man. Fortunately, the road that passed was quiet. He doesn't seem to care about his own safety. Far away he comes to see Livy to mend their relationship. What he got turned out to be Livy's decision asking to end it all.
The breakup wasn't Livy's fault or anyone's. Maybe he himself was wrong. Whenever asked who would give up, he kept quiet. As Livy said, between the two no one wants to give up.
The atmosphere had changed the night when he returned to his city. Rei did not go home. With his determination he stopped by a nightclub carrying his frustration.
This was the first time for him to choose to enter such a place. A noisy place, full of people and the smell of alcohol in every corner. Rei felt coming to that place would make him feel less lonely. It turned out, he still felt the void of being there.
"The non-alcoholic drink is one, yes!" Rei sat in front of a bartender. Despite already daring to enter such a place, Rei did not dare to get drunk. He had to bring his own car, so he couldn't get drunk.
Shortly after ordering, a glass of fresh-looking drink was presented in front of him. He immediately gulped down his drink glass while occasionally glancing around.
"Good night ...." A graceful-looking woman with her sweet smile suddenly came and sat down next to Rei. "It looks like I feel lucky tonight to be able to find a handsome guy that suits me best" he said.
Rei really did not understand what the lady meant. "What do you mean?" tanyakanya.
"I think you're the right person for my plan." The woman was so confident talking to him. When viewed from its nature, it is not much different from Livy who likes to do it arbitrarily.
