PRETEND POOR
DIVORCE SUIT

Ferdian sat opposite Renata in his study. After disappearing for a few days, Renata came to the office to meet her. Renata's face looked faint, he was more reserved after waking up from his long slumber.

"I want us to get divorced" Renata said, handing out a paper about the divorce lawsuit.

Ferdian was in disbelief at what Renata was doing. He read the paper given by his wife. Right, the letter is a divorce papers.

"Have you not taken your medicine?" ask Ferdian worriedly. He knows best about the condition of Renata who has bipolar, a disease that will not be able to recover for the rest of his life. Renata had to take the drug nonstop for his condition to be under control. If he missed the routine of taking drugs, I don't know what will happen later.

"Don't remind me what I need. I won't abandon my medicines anymore" Renata replied in a flat tone.

Ferdian has never seen Renata as calm as today. The woman who was usually very selfish, aggressive, and stubborn was suddenly relaxed. At first, he tells Ferdian to divorce Meka. Ferdian himself could not. There are many considerations for leaving Meka.

He still loves Renata, but that feeling is the same. Maybe because it was used to loving and loving Renata, it had become ingrained in him. Renata started from a friend who is very dear to him, until now also still the same. Ferdian was still concerned about Renata's condition.

Renata's family doesn't care about her son. If Renata goes crazy, they will lock him up and put more pressure on him. Ferdian is worried that Renata is still with his family. The woman is also not used to living alone mingling with others. Someone needs to understand him and his condition.

Ferdian could not let go of Meka either. With that simple woman, he could feel the warmth of the household relationship. Meka is a dream wife who is able to create a pleasant atmosphere in the house. I don't know what magnet is in him so that it can make people who know him become more loving.

"Are you angry because I haven't divorced Meka?"

Renata laughed a little. "I don't care about that anymore. Even if I told you to divorce her a thousand times, you wouldn't want to. Even if I manage to kick him out of the house, you'll still meet him somewhere else."

Ferdian fell silent unable to refute Renata's words. One side he wants to keep Renata feeling. He is still gentle to the woman whose emotions sometimes explode.

"I didn't think you'd really like him. In fact, I used to be so happy to see you make him suffer. Has he forgotten Ardi? Can he love a bastard like you? Hahaha ..." by Renata.

"I don't know if he loves me or not. But, he's a good wife and mother."

Renata. "Surely he's very satisfying to you in bed."

For Ferdian, it wasn't just a warm marital relationship with Meka that made it difficult to let go of the woman. In fact, a small thing like taking a meal for her at the dinner table made her treated special by. When the woman put a tie around her neck and asked her not to come home late, she felt like a husband in just a few months. Such trivial experiences that he did not get while with Renata.

"Are you going home to your parents?"

"You still worried about me?" Renata smiled a little.

Renata was silent for a moment. "Maybe I haven't told you. I went to see Melvin a few days ago."

Ferdian was not surprised to hear that. Renata is like that. No matter how much affection he is given, Renata's mind is filled with only one name, Melvin.

"I was so upset that she ended up marrying that poor woman. Hahaha .. poor woman. Poor ...." Renata laughed bitterly. "She turned out to be the daughter of Haidar Wijaya, right?" Renata's face turned gloomy. "Say they were married, even the woman was pregnant with her child. Melvin looks so happy showing off the woman's pregnancy. I should have been carrying her child. Why should I give birth to your child?" Renata's tears began to flow. "When I fell asleep for only a few months, the world seemed to have changed so much. Am I the only one who's been walking on the spot? Why does it seem like everyone is happy when I'm not?"

"Mir ...." Ferdian grabbed Renata's hand.

Renata brushes Ferdian's hand. He wiped the tears that had dripped on his cheek. "You don't have to worry about me anymore, Di. I'm not going back to my parents' house. I will continue to live and live in America. Thank you for being such a good friend all along. Even though I never fully give you love, you are always there for me. It feels like now it's enough to keep depending on you."

"But, Callista ...."

"I won't take him." Before Ferdian could finish, Renata spoke. He seemed to understand what hang Ferdian was worried about if he left. "I'm a bad mother, pity Callista if I have to come with me. Especially if my pain relapses, maybe I'll harm it."

From the way Renata spoke, Ferdian concluded that the woman was indeed in a calm condition. He can think wisely about himself and his most beloved son.

"Seeing it that close to Meka made me sick. I have been pregnant for 9 months and gave birth to it until I have to bet my life. When I was in a coma, Callista thought of Meka as her mother." Renata smiled bitterly. "However, that's best for Callista. As you said, Meka's a good person who can nurture Callista well. Don't let him be the same as me."

"I will also fight to live well there. Please take care of Callista, Di. Tell her I'm a good mother." Renata wiped her tears back.

"You are a good mother. No one's saying you're a failed mother."

"Mahaha ...." Renata laughed on the sidelines wiping her tears. Ferdian was the best at comforting his heart. "When I get home in better shape, I hope Callista can accept me as her mother."

"Nothing will ever replace a biological mother for a child, Ren. If Callista had grown up, he would have understood your condition."

Renata nodded. There was a sense of relief being able to speak at length with Ferdian. For a long time, only that man could understand his feelings. "Then, I'll leave now. Do not forget to sign the letter and immediately submit it to the religious court. I can't wait to hold the status of widow for the second time." Renata got up from his seat. "Don't try to buy into our divorce, Di. I'd also like to find a new partner who's better than you or Melvin."

"Can I ever refuse your will?"

Renata simply smiled in response to Ferdian's remark. He left the room bringing a feeling of relief.
