"Oh, it turns out you're in this place too."

Meka's footsteps stopped when she heard a sentence from a very familiar person in her ear. "Sir Jonathan?" I never thought I would meet Jonathan there.

The man gave a mocking smile to Meka. "Your looks classy. Looks like there's a snapper-class prey that you managed to get."

She was silent and smiling at his taunts. The more he thought, he felt that Jonathan really wanted to bring him down. Had it not been for Ruby, Meka would have long since been eliminated by him. An intelligent and capable exemplary employee can turn into a haughty monster when his desires are not achieved. It was really horrible.

"Do the men who model you know who you really are?" Jonathan shook the glass with wine in his hand and drank it.

Meka's words somehow offended her so much. Jonathan has no reason to hate Meka. After Ruby rejected him, the people around Ruby looked very annoying to her. He wanted them all to suffer like he did.

Jonathan has had many facts about Meka that he gathered when his curiosity arose since visiting Meka's house. She knew that Meka's life was so sad that it was not accepted by her own family for being pregnant out of wedlock.

Ferdian's arrival stopped the conversation between the two. The man was holding Davin who was wearing a neat suit like himself. Ferdian's face looked delighted after bringing his son around greeting his business associates.

"Pak Ferdian," said Jonathan. He smiled stiffly at Ferdian's sudden arrival.

"Oh, Jonathan. It turns out you came too. Welcome to this event, may the banquet be satisfying."

"Thank you, sir," he replied.

"He also worked at GoodFood, sir."

"Oh, yes. I forgot to." Ferdian himself told Meka to stop working to focus more on taking care of their two children. In exchange, he would fulfill all his requests.

Jonathan and Ferdian's eyes immediately turned to Meka. Both of them were equally surprised by the 'honey' call he uttered.

Ferdian frowned, "Threatening?" He did not understand Meka's words. Ferdian knows Jonathan because he is a new employee in his company who now occupies the position of HRD Manager on the advice of his secretary. Jonathan has an ace to destroy Melvin's company. Of course Jonathan gladly accepted his arrival. To him, his enemy is a friend.

"He's the one who spread the rumors of cheap women at PT GoodFood. The person he was referring to was me." Meka was so calm saying it in front of Ferdian. He looked at Jonathan with a gaze that implied that he would not remain silent this time.
