PREMARITAL
The Simple Happiness

Today Sakha decides to take a day off work, and intends to find a rental home.

He wanted to move out of his father-in-law's house immediately, and start an independent life with his wife.

Sakha was told by Bima that there was one of her acquaintances who wanted to rent a house, and Sakha intended to visit the place directly.

"It looks like this is his home" Sakha said in her heart. For a moment he looked at the front of the house that looked neat and well maintained.

Sakha walked in to the door, and she rang the doorbell.

"Assynualallaikum."

In just a few seconds, the owner of the house opened the door.

"Wa'allaikumussalam's chat. Sorry to find who, dad?" ask a man who is not much different from Sakha.

"Find the owner of this house, Mas."

"I'm the owner. Why is it, Mas?" ask the owner of the house.

"Oh Mas who owns a house, meet me Sakha."

Sakha thrust out her hand, intending to greet the owner of the house.

The owner of the house welcomed Sakha's handwriting in a friendly manner, "I'm Aldi."

"What are you doing, Mom?" ask Aldi.

"Look at Mas, I got info if Mas house wants to rent. Is that right, Mas?" ask Sakha.

"Yes right Mas, please come in, Mas." Aldi invites Sakha to talk more inside the house.

"Please sit down" asked the owner.

Sakha nodded and sat opposite Aldi.

"Yes how is Mas?" ask Aldi to Sakha.

"Look, I got info from a friend that Mas's house will be rented." Sakha explained.

"If you may know, whose friend?" ask Aldi.

"Bima, Mum."

"Oh Bima" said Aldi.

"Yes. Do you know Bima?" ask Sakha.

"Yes I know, Mom. He was a friend as a child" Aldi replied.

"Oh like that, very narrow world," said Sakha chuckling.

"Yes" Aldi replied with a small laugh.

"If you can know what the rental price per month or per year, Mas?" ask Sakha.

"That one year I put a price of 18 million mas," said Aldi.

Sakha nodded her head in understanding, she was counting the house expenses every month.

"That includes electricity, Mas?" ask Sakha.

"Oh not yet, Mas. For electricity, we use tokens, so it can be according to the use of Mas every month." Aldi explained in detail.

Sakha thought for a moment, she also liked the house. Sakha decides to rent Aldi's house and settle the payment for the next year.

Aldi and Sakha again shook hands, they also did not hesitate to joke lightly.

"I'm sorry, I'll inform you about our move" said Sakha.

"Yes, I'm waiting, thank you."

"I thank you too, Mom. Assalamallaikum." Sakha retreated, and left the house.

"Wa'allaikumussalam."

As usual, Sakha decides to walk in search of public transport. He will also buy a motorcycle as his vehicle.

From a distance a pair of eyes were watching Sakha who was waiting for public transportation, he was none other than Airin.

Airin's car stops right in front of Sakha, she gets off and walks over to her ex-boyfriend.

"Sakha, what are you doing here?" ask Airin.

Sakha momentarily frowned, noticing the clothes Airin was wearing. Now Airin looks not like the first he decided to emigrate, Airin now appears with a fashionable hijab.

"Again waiting for public transport" answered Sakha.

"I sell, where are you from?" ask Sakha.

"Sold on? Why?" Airin did not answer Sakha's question, he felt surprised when he heard Sakha's car was sold.

"It's okay" Sakha replied.

"Then, why are you here? Got a client around here?" ask Airin again.

For a moment Sakha exhaled, she began to feel uneasy as many questions Airin asked.

"I've been looking for a rented house, and now I'm going home."

Airin is aware that with Sakha's change in tone, she also does not want Sakha to make a bad impression on her.

"Then, just go home with me. It just so happens that we are in the same direction" said Airin.

"No, thank you. I'll just go home by myself," Sakha subtly refused.

Without Sakha and Airin realizing that there was a pair of eyes that were looking at them, someone seemed uncomfortable to see Airin and Sakha.

Before long a public transport was on, Sakha quickly stopped the car and got into it.

Airin just looked at the departure of the car that brought his ex-girlfriend, with a questionable feeling.

When a man says “I accept his marriage” on a marriage contract, it means he also says that I am ready to accept the responsibility of serving my wife, loving and protecting her.

That's what Sakha wants to prove right now, he's capable of taking any responsibility for his wife.

Sakha is now in a motorcycle dealer, he is picking a bike that suits him.

Almost half an hour Sakha negotiated, finally she was done with her affairs.

Sakha looks happy, he wants to surprise his wife by bringing a motorcycle home.

"May Shara be able to accept me as I am" Sakha's pinta in her heart.

He rushed home, and Sakha could not wait to see his wife.

High hopes to become a good priest for his wife, he wants to be a husband who is able to make his life companion happy.

Sakha gets to her house, she runs to Shara.

"Assalamallaikum" said Sakha.

"Wa'allaikumussalam," Shara walked up to Sakha who was smiling in the doorway.

"Mas, why are you standing here?" ask Shara.

"Where are Abi's friends?" ask Sakha.

"When you go, why? Come on in Mas," Shara asked.

Shara's footsteps came to a halt as her hand was restrained by Sakha, "why Mas?" ask Shara.

"Follow Mas."

Shara frowned, she followed Sakha's footsteps leading her towards the gate.

Shara's eyes showed a question, questioning an object that was now in front of her.

"Whose bike is this, Mas?" ask Shara.

"Our motor," Sakha answered cheerfully.

Shara was still silent, her eyes watching every inch of the motorcycle.

"Alhamdulillah, so Mas won't walk again?" shara asked with sparkling eyes.

Sakha approaches Shara, and grabs both of his wife's hands.

"Not Mas will not walk anymore, but God willing now Mas can take you anywhere," said Sakha.

"I'm sorry, for now only this thing can be done, but Mas promises to always try to give you a decent life" Sakha added.

Shara was so moved by Sakha's words, she was truly grateful that God had given her such a responsible husband.

"Not just for me, but for you too. For our son too" Shara said.

A round of clear water now moistened Shara's clean cheeks, making her white face turn red.

"I hope these are tears of happiness. Your happiness is the transmitter of my life," said Sakha, hugging her tightly.

Simple happiness, helps us be more grateful in life. Happiness cannot be measured by big things alone, we can even be happy with a small thing that happens in our lives. If we can be happy with the little things, it indicates we have been grateful for what we have.
