Dea continued walking with her injured leg. Everyone looked at him, staring at how much he loved him because no one was helping. However, this was all due to Dea's own words rejecting Fahruz's kindness.
Because it was no longer strong to hold him, Dea immediately sat in the front seat of the flower shop. Dea looked exhausted like an old man who was walking too much. He tried to touch her increasingly swollen feet. However, he was too afraid of her pain.
”I shouldn't have rejected his kindness.” muttered Dea, sighed and closed his eyes for a while.
”I told you. Your legs will be more injured if forced.” said Fahruz suddenly appeared next to Dea with a plastic bag.
”What are you doing here? I told you, don't help! I can be alone.” ketus Dea, annoyed even though he really needs help.
”Heh! What kind of a guy do you think I am? I'm not a guy who likes to throw girls away!” ketus Fahruz kneeling in front of Dea. ”Your legs are already so bad. Over time, you will not be able to walk at all.”
”What do you know? Only this way, I can still walk!”
Fahruz looked at Dea annoyed. He opened his plastic bag and took the bandages and medicine inside. ”This nature of you is really yes! Be stubborn! Can't talk relaxed!” resounding.
”Which is why?! My nature is like this! How are you doing again?”
”Udah! You just shut up! You go home and rest!” Fahruz began applying the medicine to swollen legs and injured knees and wrapped them in bandages and plaster.
Dea felt her heart pierced by a very sharp object. The butterflies in his chest began to flap his wings and rebelled wanting to get out. His face was hot and flushed, unable to bear staring at the serious face of Fahruz who was treating his wound.
Fahruz was like he was spreading his charms.
Feeling constantly stared at, Fahruz raised his head and looked at Dea in surprise. ”You keep looking at me? Wh why? Anything weird?”
Instantly Dea felt herself awkward. He instantly distracted her with his smile that was not fully formed. ”No! You are the kegeeran! Why do I keep seeing you!”
Fahruz looked suspiciously. Even so, he did not wish to prolong such a matter. After he finished treating her a little, Fahruz immediately stood back in front of her.
”You wait a minute here. I'll take you home. My house is also close by. If you keep forcing walking, the medicine will not affect.”
”Neventless. I can go to the hospital by myself. Anyway, I've been feeling better.”
”Cannot. Anyway you wait here. Just a moment.” after saying it, Fahruz immediately ran home to pick up his bike.
Dea was pounding when she heard Fahruz was so pushy she wanted to drive him home. Alrez never treated him like this even though he was his friend at Junior High. Alrez only paid attention to Sonya even when the two had already let go of each other. Dea was embarrassed to ask Alrez. Why can't she let go of Sonya from her life? Did Sonya ever change it once or was there anything special about it?
”Sonya, what kind of person are you?”
...~o0o~...
”Film is cool! I didn't know your taste was good either.” Sonya looks really happy when she and Aratha go out of the cinema. Sonya just want to be invited to watch Aratha's favorite movie in the genre of horror and murder. Aratha herself did not expect that Sonya would laugh throughout the film. Instantly, a horror film that was supposed to be tense turned into a comedy genre film.
”It seems, she's a pretty scary girl. But, quite fun too.” Inner Aratha secretly smiled as she remembered it.
Aratha sighed while closing her eyes for a moment. Upon reopening it, Aratha fell silent in surprise as she no longer saw Sonya in front of her. His eyes were eyeing, staring at the scenery around. There were so many people here so, he had a little trouble while looking for her.
”Ngapain him there?” Aratha eventually finds Sonya among three young children. Looks like Sonya just helped one of the girls there to pick up her kite that got stuck on top of a tree.
Aratha doesn't really like children. He always thought they were very noisy and a lot of behavior. His calm would be dissolved when he was among those children.
”Other times be careful, yes!” Sonya waved her hand at the three children who ran away leaving her. Now, it was Aratha's turn to stand behind her.
”You lost a moment just want to take their kite?”
”Yes, I love those who make me remember my childhood. I also wanted a sister. But, I realized I would never get it.”
”Oh?”
”Aratha, you—
”We break even!”
Aratha directly cut off Sonya's words making her a little surprised. His voice sounded so resolute like one who was holding back anger. Instantly, the atmosphere turned into full of confusion and awkwardness.
”Impas? What's even?”
”Genesis a few days ago. At school at nightfall.”
Sonya immediately understood what Aratha was talking about. ”You mean, that time? It's just a normal thing. You don't have to reply to anything. It's not something special. I'm already quite happy because you want to be a prince character in the drama I made.”
”I think it's very special. I can't imagine what would have happened to me if you weren't there at the time. I was so scared, anxious, panicked and confused. But, when you came, I seemed to see a very dazzling light like the sun. I'm so happy.”
The wind blew, blowing the ends of their hair both. Sonya was still staring at Aratha with a soulful look. He could imagine what it would have been like if he had been in Aratha's position back then. Sonya wondered what made Aratha afraid of the dark.
He must have had injuries in the past.
Silent.
Aratha turned her head towards Sonya next to her and gave her a look of wonder. ”Heh! From then on, you kept looking at me. What are you busy thinking about me?” resounding.
”Who would like to think of you?! I don't have time for that!” ketus Sonya, awkward as she rolled her eyes and then walked ahead of Aratha in a hurry.
...~o0o~...
At sunset, Sonya just returned to her house. Of course by bringing groceries that have been paid by Aratha by forcing. Today Aratha was so good to him. Already paid for all his groceries, bought him a meal at the cafe and invited him to a movie theater he had never visited.
”Entah when today will come again. Today I am tired and happy.”
Sonya walked into her yard. By the time he opened the door, the person inside the house had already opened it first.
”Dad?” Sonya looked at her father who had returned from work. Previously, he did not get a message that his father would come home today.
”Where are you from?” ask Dad, putting on a cold expression.
”I just finished working on group tasks and went to the supermarket to buy some groceries.” Sonya was forced to lie because she didn't want her father to know about her relationship with Aratha today.
”Daddy has been waiting for you from this morning. In fact, his intention is that Dad wants to surprise you. So, I deliberately didn't send a message. But, you didn't come back until the afternoon. So, Dad canceled it.”
”Continue? Want to go to work again?” Sonya realized that her father was now holding a big suitcase bag and wearing his jacket. Just like when his father was going to work for a few days.
”Iya. Dad was very busy. I've cooked food for you and put money on the table. Take good care of yourself. Dad left first.” after saying it, his dad immediately walked away out of the house.
Sonya fell silent on the spot, trying to digest what her father had said. He quickly turned around, looked at his father's back and showed his regretful expression. ”Why don't you just work here? You never knew I was so lonely here?”
Dad just turned his head a little towards her and stopped his steps. Like weighing something. Before long, he walked back out and ignored what Sonya had said to him.
Sad feeling. The house became empty again. Sonya doesn't know if she should regret having spent her time with Aratha or if she should regret not being able to welcome her father's sudden arrival.
In silence, Sonya cried.
His mind sank into confusion.
Wish his mother could be here to hug him.
