Chapter 62

Raka looks focused with the wheel, his eyes focus on following the car which is not so far from his car at this time. His eyes occasionally focus on a GPS on his phone that he puts on the dashboard of the car when the car in front of him is lost in his view.

"Shit!!" Bumpat Raka when he had to be blocked by red lights and lost track of the car in front of him. Raka growled stifled when the GPS on her phone suddenly error. He immediately contacted Jordi.

"What's wrong? Why is the GPS suddenly erring?" Ask Raka after the phone connection.

"Sorrys. There's a little trouble, in the repair phase." Answer Jordi from across the phone.

"Quick!! Don't lose track of them." Raka said firmly as well as an indisputable order. 

His eyes stared hard at the front. He drove the car back after the green light at medium speed. His breathing was heavy when he remembered the incident last night.

FLASHBACKS

"Damn!!" Umbat Raka who had originally finished checking in and was waiting for the boarding time chose to exit the waiting room. He was seen walking briskly towards the exit to the airport lobby. 

Raka got into the taxi immediately after arriving at the airport lobby. "Apartment ABC." Raka said to the taxi driver. And the taxi immediately darted out the airport parking area towards the intended place.

Raka breathes heavily when she decides to cancel her flight and decides to go to ABC's apartment. The apartment where Anggie lived. Raka kept thinking about what Anggie said this afternoon when she said she was pregnant with her child. Even though that night when they had adult intercourse wearing a protector, not necessarily the protector is safe. It could be that the protective balloon had a leak like Anggie said and caused the woman to become pregnant.

Raka immediately got out of the taxi car after arriving at the apartment she was referring to. After paying, Raka steps in through the main door of the apartment. Carrying his backpack, he sled only on his right shoulder. The clock had already shown ten o'clock by the time he reached the ABC apartment.

Raka takes the elevator to Anggie's apartment unit. He still remembered his place because he had only come to this place this afternoon. He immediately got out of the elevator, immediately his legs stopped when a man carrying a woman immediately turned around and came out through the emergency stairs. Raka's forehead shriveled as she watched the man's movements as it was very suspicious. She did not care and continued her footsteps towards Anggie's apartment unit.

Raka looked suspiciously at the door of Anggie's apartment unit that opened slightly. He slowly opened the door wide and his eyes stared in shock at what he saw. He walked in while looking around the room that looked messy.

"Anggie!!" Call Raka slowly, she peeked at the bedroom which was also very messy.

"Anggie!!" Raka again calls Anggie when she does not find the whereabouts of the female doctor who claims to be pregnant with her child.

"Where is he?" Raka muttered while in Anggie's bathroom was also invisible.

His brows were linked when he remembered a suspicious man earlier. Raka quickly exits Anggie's apartment unit and heads to the emergency staircase where the man entered through there to get out of the apartment.

"Shit!!" Bait Raka with breath hunting after arriving on the first floor but did not find the suspicious man.

Raka decided to go from there and head to his workshop which is currently managed by his friend, Jordi.

"Lho!! Didn't you fly to Makassar? Why are you still here?" Jordi looks shocked when she sees Raka coming to the workshop. As far as he was concerned, his friend wanted to return to Makassar.

"Where's your laptop? Eject quick!!" Raka's orders are indisputable. He immediately sat on the sofa staring at Jordi sharply because his friend did not leave.

Seeing Raka who was looking at him sharply, Jordi immediately rushed to take her laptop. "It!!" Jordi hands her laptop to Raka.

Without further ado, Raka immediately opened the laptop and surfed on a site with various numbers and letters that only he knew. 

Jordi was sitting next to Raka, her forehead creasing when she saw Raka looking for traces of CCTV footage in an apartment. He also knows what Raka is doing because he is also a computer expert, also an IT expert. "Who are you looking for?" Ask Jordi curiously.

"Take another laptop. Help me find someone." Instead of answering what Jordi asked, Raka instead ordered Jordi to help her.

Without waiting for the order twice, Jordi immediately rushed to pick up the laptop and helped Raka search for someone she herself did not know who Raka was looking for.

Raka stared intently at what she found in the CCTV footage, she zoomed in and she observed the image. "Find out who this guy is." Raka orders after sending a photo of the man she suspected earlier in Jordi's email.

Jordi immediately did her job and Raka herself found out the vehicle that the suspicious man had brought. The two struggled with the laptop until midnight. Both of them fell asleep with their laptops still on.

The next morning they went back to looking for what they were looking for. Jordi finds out who the man was photographed and Raka herself finds out the police number of the car the man was carrying. 

"He's a foreign national." Reveal Jordi after getting what she was looking for. "He's just been released from prison." The connection again gave information to Raka.

Raka turned to look at the laptop that Jordi was holding. He simply nodded and refocused on his laptop screen when it turned out to be true, the man took Anggie away. He went back to look for the whereabouts of the car he already knew his police number. 

"You keep an eye on this car. Send it to my GPS." Raka gives her laptop to Jordi.

"Where are you going?" Jordi asked as she watched Raka get ready.

"Pursuit that car." Raka answered and passed away while carrying the car keys that he took on the table which is of course Jordi's car. "Send Jor!!" Shouted Raka from the first floor.

"Who the hell is he looking for?" Jordi was so curious while doing the task of Raka. He ignored her curiosity.

FLASHBACK OFF

Raka drove slowly while looking at the side of the road, the day had started the night and he had not found the car he had been tailing earlier. The rude gasps kept coming out of Raka's mouth because Jordi had so long since recovered the errant GPS site.

Raka stopped his car and parked on the shoulder of the road. He opened the windshield and looked around the road that was already very far from the capital, even now it was on the outskirts of the city. Raka breathed a long breath, inexplicably he had to be that determined to find the whereabouts of Anggie who was clearly a nobody to him. Just a one night stand woman who happens to be also her former co-worker. He had no more relationship with that woman. But somehow his heart was moved to save the woman he had slept with.

Raka breathed for a moment when she heard her phone ringing. He saw a call coming in from Jordi. He immediately raised the call through a communication device he had stuck in the ear. "How's it?" Ask Raka.

"It's recovered, but I haven't managed to send it to your GPS." Raka growled stifled at hearing the information from Jordi, knowing like this earlier she better bring her own laptop. "You better follow the instructions I gave you. Don't hang up." Raka was seen nodding even though Jordi could not see it. He seemed to agree to the advice Jordi gave. "The distance is about four kilometers from you. It's on the outskirts of town, but near the woods." Raka's forehead shriveled at hearing that.

"The forest!!" Raka's birthday made sure that she didn't hear wrong. 

"Hmmm!!!! In a village near the forest edge." Jordi.

Raka nodded her head, she returned to drive her car as directed from Jordi to where she said the person carrying Anggie was at the moment.

"His car is parked in an empty house at the very end." Jordi's voice again sounded in Raka's ear when it was almost at the destination.

The place looked quiet, but there were so many houses even though the distance between the houses was about twenty meters, probably because it was already night and it was ten o'clock more.

"I'm sure they're not inside. Even if there must have been raided citizens." Guess Raka considering that villagers usually suspect that there are foreigners, they will always be monitored. Moreover, those who came here were very suspicious, they must have caught him.

Raka tries to look inside the house with the help of a lamp on her phone. The house looked deserted, there was no illumination at all. Right guess, they're not inside. 

Raka turned off her cell phone light when she saw a man walking towards the forest. The curious Raka followed the man from a distance, yet he was still able to monitor. He guessed, the man was the same one who took Anggie away.

"Shit!!" Umbat Raka when his hand that holds a tree is surrounded by ants. He hurriedly left while rubbing his arm, getting rid of the ants that were in his hands.

Raka walked slowly as the man walked into a small hut. He stepped closer and peeked out. His forehead shriveled when inside there was dim and a little dark because there was only candlelight illumination. He didn't see anything in there.

"I guess where you are, it turns out to be here."

Raka was so shocked when the man she was tailing was right in front of her. Damn, he was discovered, his mind was upset because as soon as it had to be caught wet.

"Here you!!"

ARGHHH

Raka opened her eyes wide when she heard the screams of a woman. He peeked back and it turned out that he was not caught. He saw the man dragging a woman he knew, the woman was Anggie. Anggie's feet also look tied.

Raka's face changed immediately seeing the state of Anggie as it is now. The look in his eyes was sharp, his jaw was hardened as well as his two hands were clenched tightly. Not forgetting, his hunting breath indicated that the young doctor was holding back wrath and anger.

Raka could not hear what the man was saying to Anggie, but she heard Anggie crying and screaming, but the man did nothing and just showed her something on the phone.

ARGHHH

Raka looks angry when she hears Anggie screaming. Moreover, he also saw the man was doing indecent acts on Anggie. Raka who could not see the man's actions immediately broke into the small hut.

Mike, the man who was enjoying Anggie's body turned his head when someone came in. His body immediately moved away from Anggie. He was afraid that those who entered were the surrounding residents and would arrest him.

While Anggie had fainted first because of the action of Mike who played rough on his body. Moreover, Mike repeatedly touched it and even tortured it in a day.

Dark-eyed Raka drags Mike and beats up the man who's been treating Anggie like a pet doll. Mike did not have time to fight because Raka's power is so strong, not comparable to him.

Uhukks

Mike coughed as his chest stepped on Raka so strongly. He does not know who Raka is and why Raka came to beat him. Was that man Anggie's lover, he thought.

Raka did not make the slightest sound, he stared intently at Mike with his right foot still stepping on Mike's chest. He leaned slightly and Bughh, Raka punched Mike's jaw until Mike's lips and nose bleed. Even a groaning sound of pain came out of Mike's mouth.

Raka grinned, he then moved away from Mike's body and removed the black hoodie he was wearing. He stared in concern at Anggie who was not wearing a thread and his body was covered with wounds. Raka then put her hoodie on to cover Anggie's innocent body.

Raka just kept quiet and stared silently at Anggie's pale face. He lifts Anggie's body after the hoodie is perfectly attached to Anggie's body. Raka passes away from there and immediately takes Anggie to the hospital for treatment. Raka looked at Mike before his feet finally stepped out of the small hut.

DOR

Raka was silent as her back felt something just hit her back. Raka closed her eyes as intense pain invaded her back. He opened his eyes and looked at Mike who was grinning with a gun in his hand, but his condition was very weak due to the punch he gave earlier.

Raka just kept quiet and resumed his footsteps by enduring the pain from the shot that hit his back. He did not care about the pain he felt, what he had in mind at this time was to immediately take Anggie to the hospital to get treatment.

From the front Raka saw some people coming closer. He stopped his steps when he saw the police coming. He didn't call the police, what the citizens called the police, he thought.

"The guy's inside." Raka said softly to the police who surrounded him. Maybe they thought Raka was the kidnapper.

Two police officers checked in and went inside, while the others were still besieging Raka whose pale face was also enduring the pain.

"Raka!! Are you here too?" Everyone looked back, so did Raka.

"Mr Fabian knew the man?" Ask one of the police officers.

Fabian nodded his head. "We know. Doctor Anggie knows him, too." Answer Fabian. He looked suspiciously at Raka. Why is her ex-law here now? Shouldn't Raka be in Makassar? Fabian kept guessing what was really going on.

"Help him!" Raka said softly before he finally fell because he was no longer strong enough to withstand the pain on his back that was shot. Anggie who was in his trunk also fell down.

"Braca!!" they shouted when Raka fainted.

Fabian and Rendy and Evan take care of Raka and Anggie, while Bara and the police take care of Mike who has now been caught to be immediately taken to the police station.

Fortunately Fabian had called an ambulance to follow them, so now Anggie and Raka were in an ambulance with Fabian as well.

Raka was conscious, but still in a weak state. Unlike the Anggie who is still shaky and unconscious.

"Can be a little slow." complained Raka when feeling pain in his back wound when treated Fabian.

Plakk. Fabian furiously hit Raka's shoulder. "Everything if you are afraid of pain, don't try to be a hero" ridiculed Fabian without reducing the focus on taking the bullet lodged in Raka's back. Although not so deep, but the blood looks out a lot.

Raka just growled just getting taunts from Fabian. He endured the pain of the anesthetic injection Fabian gave his body. The proof is that he is currently feeling pain when his former sister-in-law took emergency action to take a bullet.

Raka glanced sideways through the tip of her eyes, where she saw Anggie still lying with her eyes closed and her hands were attached to the infusion. The wounds on Anggie's body were only cleaned.

"Your body turns out to be immune too yes even though the anesthetic does not work" said Fabian when he began to sew gunshot scars on Raka's back. He looked at Raka who was just growling, enduring the pain without yelling or hissing in pain.

Raka just turned the lazy eyeball. He did not reply to Fabian's words. Really he did not expect to look this weak in front of Fabian who he still considers an enemy. He was sure, at this time Fabian was mocking him all-out. Regardless of what kind of expression Fabian had behind him at the moment, Raka did not care. Although he still considers Fabian an enemy, but he does not intend to make mistakes again as before against Fabian and others.

Raka looked back at Anggie in silence. His eyes continued to focus on Anggie's face that looked sad, as well as pale. I don't know what that guy is thinking right now. What is certain is that the radiance of the eyes was so deep staring at Anggie's face.
