Chapter 53

Tonight Bryan is seen standing on the balcony of his room, leaving his wife asleep after returning from a proposal made by Fabian for Maura, his beloved daughter. He was also seen clutching a cell phone, as if Bryan was calling someone.

"What are they doing now?" Bryan asked the person behind the phone.

"They were talking, sir." Answer the bodyguard who follows Maura. "There's a friend of Non Maura's too, doctor Amel's the same doctor Anggie. There was also his friend Doctor Bian, a man." The bodyguard explained the circumstances that occurred at the location.

"Supervise them, lest the error of time be repeated." Bryan's orders that do not want his daughter to make a mistake again after officially becoming a couple of brides.

Bryan's eyes look sad after ending the phone call, the look on his face is also the same. It seems he is holding back his sadness for his beloved daughter who will soon be completely owned by another man. Not that Bryan did not allow Maura to marry, but he was not ready if he had to release Maura who was always spoiled on him. 

Bryan was afraid Maura's love for him would definitely be split for Fabian as well. Or maybe Maura's love for her is over and has been handed all over to Fabian. The proof after the application event, Maura immediately went with Fabian and gathered with his friends.

"Not married yet you've forgotten Dad, what if you're married later? You're definitely not gonna need Dad anymore." I don't know why Bryan got that far. Maybe because Maura who currently prefers to spend time with her lover is also her friends.

"When you fell in love with Rafa, I didn't have more worries like this. I'm not afraid your love is divided. But why is it that when you're with Fabian, I'm so afraid you don't need him anymore. Don't want Dad anymore." Bryan turned his head up. He kept his eyes open even though they were red and sore and teary. She was really afraid of losing Maura's love for her.

"Darling!! You haven't slept."

Bryan lowered his head and hurriedly wiped away the tears at the end of his eyelids. He's still turning his back on Freya. "Yes, there was a call from the client." Bryan replied, turning his back to Freya, smiling at his wife.

Freya squinted her eyes, she could not believe what Bryan was saying. "Not to lie to you, Mom. You must have thought of Maura again." Guess Freya when she saw the look on Bryan's face that looked very different than usual. Even though her husband was smiling, he saw that there was sadness being emitted in both eyes.

Bryan smiled wryly as Freya realized he was lying. He chose to sit in a lounge chair. "My daughter now prefers to celebrate her happiness with another man rather than her own father. Lately he's been spending more time with Bian than I, his dad's his first love." Bryan said with a trembling voice holding back the tears that had regained their eyelids.

Freya who heard that was sad. Bryan's love for Maura was so sad that Maura would rather spend time with Fabian. Freya was not jealous, because she had known a long time ago. She simply did not expect Bryan to be this sad as Maura was about to marry a man of her own choice. 

Freya approached and sat down beside Bryan, hugging his body. "Boy!! The child was taken from Allah SWT. Who should we be if one day Maura will be taken again by God, or maybe taken by a man who loves him very much, like Fabian today. Not only Maura, Mas Bryan also still have Nadia with Shaqila. Someday they will be taken away from the same men who love them."

Bryan was silent, his heart ached even more considering his other two daughters. That means he must give up the love of his three daughters must be divided with other men. 

"But believe me, Mommy. The child's love for the same parent to the couple is different. Maura could not forget her father. He just wants to share his happiness with his partner. He'll come home and tell us everything. You know what Maura is like. He'll tell me whatever it is, whether it's you or me. Surely he will keep telling stories even though later he already has a partner."

Bryan looked at Freya who was hugging him from the side. "I think I should learn from you." Freya laughed at hearing that.

"Mas Bryan has already approved them, it's the same Mas Bryan has mengikhlaskan Maura owned by Fabian." Freya said with a look back at Bryan.

"Indeed, aren't you sad that Maura will be with her husband?" Bryan asked seemed unwilling to take Maura off just like that. 

"Sad that's for sure, but I'd be a lot sadder if I didn't approve of them. Our daughter will definitely be hurt a second time." Freya does not want Maura to suffer the same injury about romance. "I'm grateful Maura met Fabian even though it started from a mistake. I see Fabian so sincerely affectionate and in love with Maura. Responsible and hardworking. He was also polite, highly educated at a very young age and one more, he was also very handsome." Freya smiled considering her handsome future daughter-in-law.

"Much more handsome your husband than he is." Bryan's voice that seemed to dislike Freya admired other men besides her.

"Yes, he's a lot more handsome than you, my husband." Timpal Freya with a small laugh. "Yuk is asleep!! It's been a really big night." Let Freya remember it's midnight. "You take it easy, Maura will be safe tonight."

The next morning at the same hotel where Fabian proposed to Maura was also the place where Maura stayed with Fabian and three other friends. They were not one room, they were staying in separate rooms. Maura is with her two friends, Anggie and Amelia, while Fabian is with Gerry. 

"You got a problem?" Maura asked Anggie. Ever since last night he's been so curious about Anggie's unusual attitude. Anggie who is a little chatty and often disagree with Amelia, last night seemed silent, like something was being thought about.

Anggie who was sitting on the sofa, raised her head to look at Maura. He shook his head slowly. He also forced himself to smile.

"Surely there's no problem?" Ask Maura to make sure. She sat in front of the dressing table while drying her wet hair as she had just finished taking a shower. "But from last night you looked completely different. Like there's something you're thinking. You are not as happy as usual either. If there is a problem, you can share. Don't keep it to yourself, it'll be a disease." Said Maura who was like experienced. If there is a problem, she always cries.

Maura throws the towel she used to dry her hair into the bed, where Amelia is still fast asleep. But unfortunately, the other friend was not disturbed at all.

"No, Ra. I'm just confused, want to take a house through a developer or buy land continue to build a house according to my dreams."

"If that's up to you. Calculated first how much money should be spent if you have to buy a house so much money, if you buy land and build your own total that must be spent so. If you already know the costs to be incurred, just choose the one that is in accordance with your income."  Maura gave advice.

"Thank you for the advice, Ra." Anggie said with a smile.

"Together." Maura replied with a smile as well, she then took a hair dryer to dry her still wet hair.

"Ra, I'm back. I have a practice schedule this morning." Pamit Anggie's. Given this Monday, Maura understands the current condition. Monday is a busy day.

Seeing Anggie gone, Maura wakes up Amelia who is still sleeping. "Wake, Mel. Work!! I'll cut your pay later if it's late." Maura threatened to cut Amelia's salary because her friend never woke up. 

"Five more minutes." Amelia muttered with her eyes still closed.

"Five minutes on." Maura's grievances were upset by herself for being so hard to wake Amelia up.

Maura decides to go to the restaurant at the hotel, where Fabian is waiting for her. This time it was not the restaurant they had used for the application last night, but rather the restaurant that was downstairs close to the pool.

"Darling!! Sorry for waiting a long time." Maura hugged Fabian's shoulder from behind.

Fabian fell silent, he saw Maura who had now taken off her embrace and sat down next to him. "I think I should go to an ENT doctor."

Maura frowned and looked at Fabian in confusion. "What happened to your ears?" Maura asked curiously. What aching ears, Maura thought.

"I don't know, suddenly my ears buzzed when someone called me with a call dear. It seems like he was surprised mixed with pleasure." Fabian said with a serious look.

Maura flicked her lips, she knew Fabian was currently insinuating her. Maura curses her own silent mouth calling Fabian with a loving call. "So your mouth, Maura. It's not time you called Bian with a call, dear." 

"Amor!! Take me to the ENT doctor." Pinta Fabian pleaded.

"Lazy. Go by yourself." Reject Maura by sipping a cup of tea that he picked up right in front of Fabian.

Fabian laughed, he pinched Maura's squashy cheek.

"Bi!! Thankfully, it didn't choke me." Maura complains because Fabian bullied, he almost choked while drinking. 

"Sorrys. I'm so excited about you." Fabian rubbed Maura's wet chin from the tea water. "Sorry, yes. You'll have to go home with your bodyguard." 

"Why?" Ask Maura quickly. "Where are you going?" Ask again.

"I forgot that today I was called back to the hospital. I've started working again." Fabian brightly smiled happily.

"What right?!" Maura was no less happy, she even hugged Fabian when the man agreed.

Maura instantly let go of her embrace while recalling something. "If you're just back at work, how do you keep getting married? It is impossible for you to immediately ask for leave when you have just been rehired." Maura looks confused on her own considering the two are getting married this weekend. It's saturday.

"We'll get married as you wish. But for the honeymoon we postpone it first. We can honeymoon anytime and anywhere. The most important thing after legitimate we can exchange sweat in the room itself, no need to go far." 

Plakk!! Maura patted Fabian's thigh. "That's all you think about. Bawdy!!" Maura was so upset with Fabian because since last night the honeymoon was discussed with the man, no one else until last night she was so embarrassed because so monthly Amelia also Gerry.

"Yes, because a man is an adult if he wants to marry, especially if he is married only *********** the woman he has in mind. The same twin mountains are also very fitting with my grasp." Fabian said it all. He even raised his hands practicing the moment how to break the twin squishy mas.

Maura covered her chest with both hands, her body also she kept away from Fabian. She looked at her future husband with a suspicious look. "Don't tell me you've been imagining it a lot." Accuse Maura.

"According to You." Fabian smiled pervertedly by raising his eyebrows.

The frightened Maura stood up straight from her seat. "SIR BENG!! WE'RE GOING HOME NOW!!!"
