Chapter 52

The car that Fabian drove was in front of the house of the Abrisam family. Without turning off the engine, Fabian immediately opened the door and got out of the car. He turned through the front and opened the door for Maura. Not to forget, he also helped Maura get out of the car. Though all that does not need him to do because Maura is still healthy and can do everything on her own.

Maura herself who was treated like a queen just as Fabian was feeling very happy. He did not protest and enjoyed it. Because in addition to his father, it turns out there are also those who treat him so gently and attentively.

"You go straight home? Not stopping by first?" Maura asked when she saw Fabian grab a bag as well as a few bags of souvenirs they bought before returning to Jakarta.

"Yes, I have a little work to do." Fabian replied after closing the door again with his elbow, as both of his hands carried with them the goods. "Sorry I can't stop by. Please give my regards to Father to your Mother."

Maura nodded and took over all the items Fabian had in hand. "Yes, I'll tell Mother's father." Reply Maura. "Well let me know if there's free time?" Maura's pinta on her lover.

"Without you even telling me, I'll keep telling you." Fabian stroked Maura's head of hair.

"It's good that you understand." Typal Maura with a smile.

"I'll go home first." said Fabian. He gave a kiss on Maura's forehead before finally getting back in the car.

Maura waved her hand painstakingly at Fabian as her hands were filled with bags as well as souvenir bags. He immediately got into the house after Fabian's car passed away.

"Assynnhyes!!!" Shouted Maura.

"Greetings, Non Maura." Replied Bik Mae who happened to have just come down from the second floor. He approached Maura and took over what her Easy Miss had brought.

"Where is this the occupant? Very quiet." Maura asked as she looked at the house that looked so quiet.

"Same master Madam left, he said there was a meeting outside of that. Miss's sister also went to Mrs Caca's house." Answer Bik Mae.

Maura nodded in understanding. "Yes, Bik Mae saved it all. Except for that black pouch, could be Bik Mae the same other part." 

"Ready, Non. Thanks." Thanks." Said Bik Mae who was happy because it also got souvenirs from Bandung.

Maura passed towards the second floor. He did not enter his room, but Oma Lea's room. He looked at Oma Lea who seemed to be being fed to the sisters who were guarding Oma Lea.

"Assalamualaikum, Oma." Greet Maura with a smile. He took Oma Lea's hand and he kissed the back of her hand. He also kissed Oma's only cheek.

Oma Lea responded with a smile, she could not speak clearly yet.

"Let Mora feed Oma, Sus." Maura took the plate in Sister's hand and sat down beside Oma Lea.

"Have you heard about Mora and Bian?" Maura asked on the sidelines to feed Oma Lea.

The sight of Oma Lea nodding her head, it meant that Oma Lea had already heard from Bryan or perhaps from Freya.

"Does Oma agree that Mora married Bian?" Ask Maura.

It appeared that Oma Lea nodded her head again and made Maura smile happily. He also agreed to marry Fabian.

"Mora's glad Oma's blessing us." Said Maura. "That's a good guy, Oma. He's tall, handsome, smart, also the best doctor in our hospital. He treated Mora very well. So Oma doesn't have to worry that Bian will hurt Mora. She loves Mora so much. Later Mora will introduce Bian to Oma." Maura said at length about Fabian.

Maura did not know that yesterday after returning from Bali Fabian was introduced to Oma Lea first with Bryan. So why when asked by Maura, Oma Lea always answered with a nod of the head and a smile. Because he already knew first and has expressed his desire to marry Maura.

"This is the last one, Oma." Maura feeds the last bribe to Oma Lea. "After that take the medicine." Maura gave the empty plate to Sister. "Where's the medicine, Sus?" Maura asked as she did not see the medicine on the nightstand.

"Wait, Nope." Sisters were seen taking drugs stored in the TV desk drawer.

"Why not keep it here, Sus?" Maura looks surprised why it should be kept away from the medicine.

"Sorry, Non. If kept here, Madam often take it secretly. Keep throwing it away." Bright Sister told Maura.

Maura shook her head, she just found out about this. "Will you take medication?" Ask Maura. "Oma doesn't want to heal? Doesn't Oma want to attend Mora's wedding later? If Oma doesn't want to. Though Mora has a plan after Bian returns to work, I'll have Bian treat Oma. Bian is a neurosurgeon. So suitable for Oma, let immediately be treated with Bian. But it looks like Oma doesn't need any of that. Yes already, it's up to Oma just want to quickly heal anything." Maura just left. It was not that he was angry with Oma Lea, nor was he indifferent to Oma Lea. Maura was only self-conscious not being able to persuade Oma Lea who had a stubborn disposition from a long time ago. Only her daughter-in-law, Freya, can melt her stubbornness. So let Freya persuade Oma Lea.

In the afternoon, Maura was seen sitting on the balcony of her room while playing on a mobile phone. He sent Fabian a voice note.

"Bi!! Where are you now?" The voice mail that Maura sent to Fabian.

"I'm at home." Reply Fabian via short message.

Knowing Fabian was at home, Maura decided to contact her lover. His forehead shriveled when he heard a very noisy voice after Fabian raised his call. It looks like Fabian is not home. The man seemed to be lying to him.

"Where are you, Bi?" Maura asked curiously.

"Darling, this ring is good on my finger."

Maura glared at both of her eyes when she heard the voice of the woman so clearly in her ear. "Who is that, Bi? Where are you now?"  Read Maura who seemed to be holding back anger.

"Ntar. I'll call you later." 

Maura saw her phone that had been cut off unilaterally with Fabian. His breathing was especially hunting with a face that was red with anger. He immediately came out of the room and looked for his father. Only the father can help him now.

"Where's the father, Bun?" Maura asked Freya.

"Dad's got a meeting next to his friends." Answer Freya. "Why look for Dad?" Ask Freya curiously.

Maura shook her head slowly. "For a long time, Bun was about Dad meeting her?" Ask Maura again.

"No know yes. It seems like it's done soon. You just wait." Said Freya and was taken by Maura.

Until the night, Maura did not visit Bryan because his father was out after the meeting. Maura was so upset, especially now that Fabian's number could not be reached. Where exactly did the man go, and who was the woman who called the darling earlier. Maura felt anxious to meet Fabian and slap the man.

"Darling!!" Freya went into Maura's room whose door was wide open. "You change clothes. Companion Mother dinner with colleagues in place of your father." Freya gave a lilac color dress to Maura.

"Males ah Bun." Reject Maura and pull the blanket. He is now again bad mood, lazy to do any activities.

"Just a minute, dear. It's very important. It's about the fate of our company. If you don't want to come, your father will lose the company that Opa has built for a long time."

Maura immediately revealed the blanket that covered her body. He even got off the bed. "What does Mother mean? Why isn't Dad there himself?" 

"Your father is handling the others. Come accompany Mother. You're the only person who can help the family company survive."

Maura finally agreed, she did not want the company that had been established with Opa Omanya to painstakingly disappear and fall into the hands of others. He had to help Father with his Mother to keep the family company.

Maura and Freya have arrived at a hotel. The two entered and headed to a luxurious restaurant that was on the eleventh floor.

"Bone!! Why are they asking for a meeting here?" Maura asked curiously.

"Mothers don't know, we just follow their will." Answer Freya.

"Who the hell is their real Bun? Maura was very curious." Maura asked because Freya did not tell him who the person who wanted to take over the Abrisam family company was.

"Later you will know." Freya's answer made Maura even more curious.

"With Miss Maura." A servant reprimanded upon seeing Maura coming as well as Freya.

Maura nodded.

"Let's follow Miss."

Maura glanced at Freya. "Follow it out." Freya.

The two followed the waiter until they reached a restaurant whose door was still closed. "It's up to Miss. Excuse me first." The waiter resigned.

"Darling, like Mother wants to go to the toilet for a while. Can't take it anymore." Freya also left after reasoning to go to the toilet.

Maura looked to the left right before finally opening the door slowly. Two doors opened at the same time, Maura was glued to see who was standing there. Restaurant lighting is made dim, while there are two light spots that lead to him also the man who made him fixated. He could also see there was a piece of writing on the stage with such a beautiful decor.

Maura's lips trembled, along with her reddened and teary eyes as the man who was none other than Fabian stepped towards her with a bouquet of red roses. Followed by spot light movement

His eyes moved around and there were also people he loved were capturing the moment himself as well Fabian. Although not so clear, because the lighting is less bright. But Maura knew that there were both her parents and the other siblings. Even the mother who said she wanted to go to the toilet, turned out to have joined there.

Fabian smiled at Maura, a smile that he had just emitted when he welcomed Maura's arrival. He reached out his hand to Maura and it turned out that the girl immediately welcomed a helping hand from him. Fabian took Maura to the stage on a small stage.

"Maura Hanin Az-Zahra, sorry if we initially met because of a mistake. Now I want to correct that mistake with you. I hope you'll fix it with me, too." Seeing Maura nodding her head, Fabian gave Maura a bouquet of red roses.

Maura shut her mouth even to the point of stepping back in shock as Fabian suddenly knelt before her.

"I am not your first love, nor is my second love, nor your third love. But I want you to make me your last love. Like I love you unconditionally and irrevocably."

"Maura Hanin Az-Zahra, give me the honor to love you forever. Will you marry me, Amor?" Along with that, Fabian took out a ring from his suit pocket. Staring at Maura with a sweet smile.

"Thank you for preparing all this for me. But I'm sorry, I can't take it."

Hopefully people look surprised by the answer Maura gave. Maybe it was just a lie, they thought because they knew how ignorant Maura was.

Fabian himself, the smile that had his lips dimmed hearing the rejection from Maura. But he tries not to be sad. He smiled and stood up. "Thanks for everything." Fabian said and turned his back to get off the stage.

"Why are you going?" 

Fabian stopped his steps. He did not turn to look at Maura, he just kept quiet. His heart was too sore from the rejection from Maura earlier.

"Say you want to marry me. Why don't you pin the ring on my ring finger? I can't wear it myself."

Fabian turned his body around, he saw Maura smiling towards him by extending her left hand, while her right hand held a bouquet of flowers.

"You don't want to save her here?" Maura moved the fingers of her left hand as Fabian silently looked at her. Is Fabian upset because he has been working, Maura thought.

Instead of answering, Fabian gave the ring to Shanti and asked Shanti to put it on Maura.

"So you want to accept Fabian's proposal?" Shanti asked to make sure. He was already on the small stage with Maura.

"Why should I refuse Auntie, if there is a man who would be responsible for me also love me unconditionally." Maura answered with certainty.

Shanti smiled happily, she then pinned the ring that Fabian bought this afternoon on Maura's ring finger. "Thank you for accepting Aunt's son." Shanti hugged Maura's body.

"Sama-sama Aunt. Maura was also very grateful." Maura replied to Shanti's embrace.

Happy cries were heard from the families who participated in watching the application event. Even Maura's sister and nephew who joined also looked happy. Maura's congratulations also Fabian got from the family as well as the brothers present.

"Dad!" call Maura lirih when dealing with Bryan. He had accidentally seen Bryan wipe away tears.

"Happy beautiful daughter Father, Father's beloved daughter." Bryan hugged Maura's body very tightly. His favorite daughter is soon no longer his responsibility, already has the person he loves, already has a shoulder for his place to lean. Soon she will lose her beloved daughter who is always spoiled for her. "Never forget my father, my little daughter." - Bryan in his heart.
